  1. You guys should have pre-ordered sooner, you have nobody to blame but yourself.
  2. I redeemed my code on July 21st. Got in today with the first wave [6:23AM EST]
  3. I pre-ordered from Amazon which cost me ZERO cash as they do not charge you until the order ships. MANY others could have done this as well.
  4. The point is that you cannot place blame on someone else for something not going your way when you knew way ahead of time how to avoid such situation. People knew ahead of time that the earlier you pre-order, the more likely you'll be in on Day 1 or Day 2. If you waited til Mid-September to pre-order, then you only have yourself to blame, not Bioware.
  5. Again, then you need to take swift action and adjust your plan! I initially pre-ordered from GameStop, but later found out that we possibly won't be getting our codes until 5 business day later!!! Came here to the forums and found out how many people were having better luck with Amazon as they emailed you your code like seconds after pre-ordering. Also, Amazon does not charge you to pre-order, so it won't hurt you in the pocket. They only charge you when the product ships. So I went ahead and pre-ordered the CE from Amazon then cancelled my GameStop order.
  6. I am sorry, but I have to say this. For all of you people who DID NOT pre-order in July, then you only have yourself to blame. If you are so eager to play SWTOR, then why in this green Earth did you not pre-order when they first began? Why did you wait til August....September....October to pre-order knowing darn well that 1st Day early access is most likely going to go to the people who pre-ordered in July. This is sort of like the Teacher in HS telling you on August 15th that on November 1st will be a test and it covers this this and that. The Teacher gives you the materials needed to study but you fail to look over them. Then come November 1st and you fail the test, you want to blame the teacher for not "preparing" you for the exam when you knew WAY AHEAD of time what was going to be on the test. You have nobody else but to blame but yourself. Same applies here. I have been here since the day after SWTOR was announced in 2008 and I pre-ordered the FIRST day at Amazon. I knew that I had to do so if I wanted to get in Day 1. You guys wait weeks/months after to pre-order and then you want to complain that you didn't get in on Day 1.....
  7. They should have pre-ordered on the first day instead of waiting. They only have themselves to blame....
  8. I think that if you got invited today, you would not have posted this thread. When you do the math, the ONLY people really complaining are those who did not get invited. So what does that tell you?
  9. I'm just saying, those who are looking to gank in the next few days might be left short.....
  10. I received my invite at exactly 6:23AM EST [Wave 1] however I have been playing Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand on PC all day and after getting beat in Conquest Assault, I have decided that it is time for me to put this 3 year wait to rest and jump into SWTOR!!!! My first class will be a Trooper Vanguard. I am about to eat and come back and play SWTOR! My Trooper should touch down on Ord Mantell at ~5PM EST.
  11. I have a CE so I would not need to purchase this.
  12. Many of you are excited over this EGA for the simple reason that by December 20th, you'll be at a VERY high level and that means you can gank lower levels, assuming you are on a PvP server. However, the way SWTOR is set up, true world PvP does not really start until Tattooine, which is like a level 25-28 planet or something like that. So at the MINIMUM, the "low level" players that you will be ganking will be mid-level, in their late 20s or so. So yeah, just thought that I would throw that out there.
  13. Oh okay, so as long as you pre-ordered, you can post here [assuming you entered in your pre-order code]. My apologies, I must has misunderstood. Either way, nice to see another October 2008er!!!!
  14. It was my understanding that you can only post here once you have received your invite email to Early Access? I just woke up and saw that I received mine around 6:23AM EST and the subject header was "Your Wait is Over" or something like that. I launched the client, agreed to everything, and then saw that the Play button is available to me, meaning that I can go into the game and play! I choose not to because I want to play Back to Karkand [bF3] which just released for PC today so I probably won't get into SWTOR into later tonight EST. However I see many people talking about how they are waiting for their invite or asking about what "wave" they are in and so on. Well, if they haven't been invited, then how are they able to post here? I was under the assumption that you need to be invited to the EGA before you can post here and if you aren't invited, you can only VIEW the forums, not post in them. What am I missing?
