  1. Lol while you all are complaining, I'm sitting over here enjoying my time in the game. Mind you I'm a solo player and could careless about the group stuff outside of PvP which I do solo anyways. The way I see it, we should have had a proper KOTOR 3 and not some MMO (at the time they were riding off the WoW hype). So now that the game has essentially gone solo, I could careless about the butthurt group/mmo crowd as this game should have been a KOTOR 3 in the first place.
  2. But PT music seems more pronounced that the OT music. Not that I'm complaining, just something I noticed.
  3. Unless I missed a snippet somewhere, other than the title scrawl and the general force theme, much of the soundtrack from SWTOR is either from the PT, KOTOR, or brand new music unique to SWTOR and really nothing from the OT. Why is that?
  4. In terms of hours though what am I looking at? 20 hours....30 hours...50 hours? Also what is the estimated breakdown between the two? KOTFE has 16 chapters while KOTET only has 9 for a total of 25 chapters from which I hear is no more than 1 hour individually with some chapters being 30 min.
  5. So I'm trying to catch up on all the story content this weekend (Sith Warrior). I finished the class story and just finished the Battle of Ilum/False Emperor stories. Im about to begin RotHC today and hopefully finish that along with SoR content today as well. For KOTFE and KOTET....how long are those expansions combined? Keep in mind this is my first time playing through them and I will be watching all cutscenes. I just want to know if I'll be able to complete all this content during this weekend or if it will spill into next weekend. Thanks
  6. So I'm trying to level up Biochem and currently at level 103 but to craft level 100 items, I need Symbiote Cell Graft. I have all the components needed to craft Symbiote Cell Graft....however there isn't an available schematic for me to craft them. I didn't see this at the Biochem trainer....so where/how do I get it? I wish the game was a bit more clear when it comes to this stuff.
  7. Not really. This isnt Vader is Luke's fathed territory where culturally it is well known and KOTFE/KOTET aren huge and well known properties that it is common knowledge what happens at the end, especially with a game like SWTOR where new players are coming in everyday and especially with the new announcement of 6.0 and EP9 coming out, an influx of new people will be coming in. For me I already had a vague idea of what happens cause I already played the SW story way back in 2011. Also Fortunately for me my Sith Warrior now is LS so she wont be "very Sithy" and will take up all the LS choices so I assume the ending will be very different.
  8. For me, I will have a DS Jedi Knight and a LS Sith Warrior. Which would I get the most out of playing it for the first time? You only get 1 time to experience these expansions for the first time so I want to make sure it is the optimal experience. Right now I plan on doing the LS Sith Warrior playthrough first as I always play games for the 1st time using the LS/Good/Paragon route and then go back for a 2nd run and play the DS/Bad/Renegade run. However I hear the story makes the most sense as a Jedi Knight.....
  9. Currently I am doing a 1-70 playthrough with the Sith Warrior (LS) and Jedi Knight (DS). Last time I played SWTOR I played all the way up to SoR and finished that. Everything after SoR I have never touched. For story purposes, will I get a better enjoyment playing KOTFE and KOTET for the 1st time as a Jedi Knight or Sith Warrior?
  10. 1) What does Rage do for Sith Warriors (Tank) 2) Do companion customizations remain in affect when you see them later on in the expansions? Or do they revert back to their default look? Also what about gear? Does that remain the same or do they revert back to their original default gear/weapons?
  11. So I'm hyped up for the new 6.0 update so I dusted off my subscription and jumped back in starting with a fresh character. Back then I just used the skill that gave you those credit boxes which at higher levels and a full companions list actually made a lot of money for me. So has things changed? For a person who is currently leveling from 0 1-70, what is the fastest way to make money?
  12. No light/dark requirement I am subbed Yes, it is a orange lightsaber so it has an open crystal slot. Not sure what you mean by "overwrite"
  13. Nope, it is a Orange lightsaber with a slot to put in color crystals.
  14. So its been a few years since I played this game. I am playing as a Sith Warrior and decided to change things up and use a blue crystal instead of the default and generic red. So go buy one from GTN and try to put it in my saber and I get a message saying "You cannot equip this item." I mean why? In the GTN it said the required level was 1 and I am level 15 and nowhere else in the item does it say anything about it being locked in collections or requiring a certain level. Again, why is this happening? When I played a IA a few years ago, I had no problems switching out my color crystals and now it is giving me a hard time. So whats going on?
  15. I am not saying that Operations should not have stories. I only said that an Operation should not be the conclusion to a SOLO quest chain. I am all for deep and heavy stories in Operations, as long as they are self contained stories that is not a conclusion to a solo quest chain. Operations can tell stories that expand upon what we already experienced in solo quest chains, that is fine, sort of like the Eternity Vault Operation. It expanded upon the lore and understanding/history of Belsavis prison and had a nice little story to it....but it was not a conclusion to a solo quest chain. The story of Eternity Vault starts as an Ops and ends as an Ops. ------------ But one thing that you are either ignoring or simply downplaying is the FACT that SWTOR has attracted a lot of non-conventional MMO players. Like I said before, SWTOR isn't your fathers MMO simply because the demographics demands for it to be a bit solo friendly. Many people such as myself do not mind paying a subscription fee to enjoy SWTOR's single player stories because in fact, I do engage in Warzones from time to time and I do enjoy playing the GTN, both Warzones and GTN are multiplayer functions, not solo. So yeah, I AM enjoying the multiplayer aspect of SWTOR as well as the solo player aspect. I am playing simply for the story. I just leveled an IA to 65 and I have yet to complete Ziost/KotFE with him. Once I am done, I will grind out for a few days/weeks so I can get up a lot of credits so that I can buy some cool gear for my next character...a Trooper. Once that is done, I will start a Trooper character and enjoy his story while I level him to 65. Then I will do it again with a Sith Inquisitor....then with a Jedi Guardian. By the time I get them all to 65, it would be near the end of the year (or early next year) and I would STILL have the complete KotFE expansion to explore with all 4 characters plus whatever new expansion Bioware releases which I am sure will again be a solo-friendly story heavy expansion. Also, would love to do more Operations because they are long and require a lot of tactics and strategy. However, what turns me off is that it is not casual friendly. I am not the best player in the world but I am far from a noob. However, I have played in a few groups that were VERY elitist and all they care about is gear and other things and are not interested in developing "lesser skilled" players. A long time ago back in 2012 I was even kicked from a Flashpoints group AND an Operations group because I did not meet their elitist requirements. So for me, this is another reason why I do not want future solo quest chains to end in Operations, because I do not want to have to deal with being in groups where people are to all high and almighty to enjoy the experience with someone who is more of a casual player like myself. And whether your like it or not, Bioware knows that solo players make up a large amount of their demographics given their past titles such as Mass Effect and KOTOR. They know that many players are just here for the story and not PvP or Operations. I mean, just look at KotFE! If solo players weren't a large enough demographic for them to be profitable with, why would they make a SOLO ONLY expansion?
  16. I took out your last part because it seems to contain a spoiler regarding KotFE and I have yet reached that point. But to respond to your question, yes, SWTOR is an MMO but what you forget is that a good amount of players playing SWTOR are not here for the MMO experience, but for the Star Wars/KOTOR legacy experience. What drew me to this game back when it was first announced in 2008 was that it was a "Sequel" to the two KOTOR games and considering that we never got (and never will) our single player KOTOR 3 game, many people play SWTOR as the defacto KOTOR 3. SWTOR is less of an MMO and more like a hybrid MMO/Online-Single player RPG because it draws people in because of the Star Wars/KOTOR relationship. Hell, even Bioware has taken note and thus they created KotFE. Bioware knows that cinematic story-telling where our choices matter is a staple in their games such as Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and even KOTOR. The ONLY reason why I am back now as a subscriber is because of how solo-friendly SWTOR became and how much effort is being put into continuing MY own personal story that DOES NOT require a group to enjoy. So no, I am not saying that SWTOR should turn into a 100% complete single player game, no. I think they should still continue making new Operations. They should put more effort into PvP. However, if they want to create a story around an Operation, then that Operation should have it's own self contained story. Bioware should know that many players of SWTOR are solo players and thus forcing solo players to run an Operation in order to finish a SOLO quest chain is just annoying and does not make sense. Yes, this may be a common feature in other MMOs but remember, SWTOR's player demographics is not identical to your typical MMO in that like I said before....many players are just here for the solo Star Wars story/adventure (Hense the creation of KotFE and making Shadow of Revan solo friendly). So in the future, if Bioware creates a quest chain that starts off as solo, then it needs to finish solo. If they want to do an Operation, then just have us jump straight into that Operation and enjoy the self contained story within that Operation rather than bundling that Operation with the ending of a solo quest chain.
  17. Yeah, if you get lucking to get something rare enough that you can sell for a good chunk of credits, but that requires you to put down real money which I will not do.
  18. Okay, so sense everyone is suggesting Heroics as an easy way to make cash, I have two questions. #1 Which Heroics are soloable? and #2 Which of these Heroics do you suggest? What planets?
  19. #1 Battle For Ilum and False Emperor are now soloable and here originally flashpoints....not Ops. #2 It is hard getting in groups to immerse myself into the story content when everyone else just wants to skip all the cutscenes #3 It still does not excuse Bioware for making an illogical decision to make group content (Heroic 4, non-solo Flashpoint, or Ops) to the conclusion of a SOLO quest chain. I do not mind Heroics, Ops, or Group Flashpoints. But if Bioware wants to tell a story through group content, then that story needs to be self contained story that is not the conclusion to a solo quest chain.
  20. But my grip is that Bioware attaches solo content with group content. If they want to make an ops, then just give us the ops. Do not make an Operation the conclusion to a SOLO quest chain. There is just no logic to that.
  21. So it is essentially a quest chain that can only be completed by an Ops? Seriously I do not see why Bioware does this. They start you off a quest chain thinking it is another solo story chain only to lock you out of the ending unless you do an Ops. I am glad that I asked this question before diving in. Same thing with the Binoculars/Seeker Droid quest chain....
