  1. This is a joke and I can see you have no idea how impossible what you're suggesting is. Learn to use your CC removal on a 2 minute cooldown vs. teams of 8 usually featuring 2-3 targeted cc skills and AoE cc, or sometimes completely uninterruptible ropes? Huttball is a disaster. It needs to be completely overhauled or limited to sorcs and juggs exclusively, and removing the hazards and the choke point would be a great start.
  2. No it doesn't. 0/0 just means that one team is not colossally dominant over the other. Most games go to 0/0 just by the bad design of the map. You basically need to navigate a maze and hope someone doesn't CC you into the pit that takes about 50 seconds to navigate around. It's a very poorly designed map, and no one should be supporting it.
  3. Close and brutal Huttball matches (as in two evenly matched and highly skilled teams) are the worst PvP in an MMO anywhere. The score will be tied at 0/0, and even if one team is colossally dominant, you will never make it past the big idiotic dropoff. It is a great idea with an appalling map that makes this gametype meaningless.
  4. Huttball is terrible. How is this even a discussion? When playing as an uncooperative group against a premade, you are just so, so dead, and when two premades battle against one another, it becomes a CC ****fest in which you spend the entirety of the game stunned or being launched of platforms when you are not the ball carrier, and hooked or knocked into fire when you are. When it is a total spazzfest, it is sort of fun, but it becomes the same map as civil war. Huttball is only good when you are on a team of premades beating up on randoms, and that to me says that it isn't good at all.
  5. I have to say that I agree that huttball is a piece of ****, and I have no idea why anyone is defending it. Something like this works brilliantly in Unreal Tournament, but it is a piece of crap here.
  6. OP is right. Unsure of how anyone could seriously argue with RE being broken. I'm not sure I agree with the extent yet, but the whole system needs help.
  7. Or redfined the genre. I mean, you don't need to look much further than WoW for an example of this. Also, ME2 was simply too excellent for me not to have faith in some of BW's teams. SWTOR is honestly pretty good, and though DAO2 was equal parts unbelievable stupidity and excellence, it wasn't "bad," just bad relative to what was expected (really, really, really bad relative to those expectations, actually).
  8. This. Everquest was painful to play. Anyone seriously defending it simply cannot remember how they felt the first time 50 bard decided to spend his day *********** your **** up, or any of the other innumerable scenarios when the game was pretty much designed to beat you into the dirt and prevent you from getting to all of its content. Games since WoW have worked on the principle of just being good, and I like it much better that way. I couldn't agree more, but development time and computer performance were probably the primary factors. Just from hearing you say that, though, I'm foaming at the mouth to play ME3. Hopefully it follows on ME2's successes.
  9. Last two posters are wise, wise men.
  10. ATM the way they've built the game, I don't see a way around biochem nerfing. Crafting is too difficult and the game too top-heavy for the gear crafting professions to be any good (you would be lucky to get your hands on even two purples on your path from 1-60 in WoW at launch).
  11. All non-biochem crafting needs a very substantial buff.
  12. Anyone defending the absolute lack of LFG tools needs to get real. It would be like saying "EVERQUEST IS PERFECT. ALL MMOs SHOULD BE EXACTLY LIKE THIS."
  13. This is one of those things they should have stolen from WoW.
  14. Strongly agree that the AH interface is a disaster and that the LFG system is blarharhalghlgele. It's not clear to me why I have to use five drop down menus before I can search for the item I want by name. I think this game shows a lot of promise though. If they can satisfactorily address the things you mentioned (it's a pretty complete list by the way!), I will be satisfied. Otherwise I will probably renew for next month, hit 50, and declare it an enjoyable single player experience with weird meta-multiplayer elements a la Dark Souls.
  15. This is pretty obnoxious of you. It's not really worth Blizzard's time to have someone buy a sub to this game and level their character so they can mildly criticize the game to other people who already have subs. Get real bud. I happen to agree that on occasion, I wish there was music and there is none playing. The game does a pretty good job in general, but relatively frequently (whether it is a bug or not) I think "Gee, epic fight music would improve this."
