I've only read the first page of this thread. But it seems to me from the answers you're getting that this is a common problem in many MMO's. I call them "Haloers", run, gun, immediate gratification and only care about their gameplay. The fact that a majority of your "endgamers" are this way makes sense. After all, only children or immature young adults living of their "mummy and daddy" still are the ones that have the time to dedicate to being a level 50 so quickly. They also seem to be the generation that displays these "Me-me-me" patterns not only in MMO's, but also IRL. So just tell them right up front, communicate, loot (who cares if it's junk is sells for creds), listen. Then if they are ok with that join their group. Other than that, f 'em.
