Anyone know if there's gonna be a fix for this in the future or do I have to go back to grey planets doing the boring quests I can't get out of my quest log? =(

This. Seems like the raid player base usually feels very entitled to their high end gear because they feel like they've put more "work" into it. I already have "work", and it's not scheduled around server time. Just because someone has an insane amount of time to drop into a game shouldn't mean that their gear is untouchable compared to everyone else. Just because a casual might have enough time to play 12+ hours a week doesn't mean that they can sit down for a 4+ hour raid session. I do like the idea of boss *** recipes dropping from appropriate bosses, but there should be some sort of entry level/T1 equivalent that solo players could achieve by themselves, albeit at a much slower pace for the amount of materials and etc they would have to gather or buy. WoW had this, Rift had this at release, it's a good way for someone who can't dedicate hours at a time to be able to just save up some money and not be walking around in rags. Or perhaps a lot of people just don't enjoy tapping brutally monotonous PvE button rotations over and over.
