  1. Are you talking about tilting them slightly? That might work. The animation doesn't support that though. He has his arms crossed, and is even less capable of looking down the sights whilst doing so.
  2. Of course it mentions pistols. Yet nothing in that article supports the use of the pistol in the debated circumstance. (We are discussing the unload animation)
  3. Very cute. However, I did in fact read the entire article and seeing as how we're discussing pistols not sub-machine guns and attacks that only hit one target, I don't see how stating that sub-machine guns were used this way has anything to do with a pistol being fired at one target. As far as riot shields go, I don't have one, so there is no excuse. Every other statement in that article supports the fact that the bounty hunter shouldn't be firing his weapon in this manner for unload. I do not see how your link does anything but prove my point. Wasn't part of the original argument? Did you read the line " I refuse to believe that a bounty hunter that claims to be a professional shoots in such a self defeating manner."? Please read the entire post next time.
  4. I like how that link has the statement "Shooting a gun in this way has no practical benefit under most circumstances and makes proper aiming very difficult", thus proving my point of it's stupidity.
  5. I said professionals wouldn't shoot a gun like that, Not that they wouldn't dual-wield. As for "mechanics" the guns in tor appear to have recoil so yes shooting them sideways like that is self defeating. The grenade comment involves more than appearance. This is about an animation that looks stupid not a realism crusade . And the gunslinger in the trailer sure looked like a "cowboy" to me.
  6. Unload and Speed Shot are what I'm talking about. And for the powertech, it is held at a 90 degree angle. The mercenary and gunslinger hold their pistols with their arms crossed, which as far as I'm concerned is one of the dumbest animations I have ever seen.
  7. During Unload and Speed Shot, the pistols are held at a 90 degree angle. It used to be only that the mercenary had this animation. Now it has spread to the powertech and the gunslinger. I was lead to believe that the gunslinger was like a space cowboy. Did cowboys shoot their guns like this too? At the very least the powertech shouldn't be holding his one pistol sideways. If you really don't care about realism, which is understandable, do you at least like the way it looks? I sure don't. One of the reasons I went powertech was to avoid that animation. And now my poor gunslinger suffers the same fate. Say it ain't so. Perhaps it would've been more effective to make a poll to see how many people actually like the animation. Seeing as how every response, save one, has completely ignored the underlined question. At least some people were able to come up with reasons as to how most of the shots don't miss. Which is more than can be said for the people that have nothing better to do than mock or laugh at the opinions of others.
  8. Races I would play Trandoshan Mon Calamari Jawa Gand Other races I would like to see playable Wookie Togruta Nautolan Devaronian Weequay Kaleesh Duros
