Actually, willpower does effect the strength of your lightsaber swings. There is a tip on one of the loading screens that says just this.

Let your wife pick her own faction, race, and class on her own, so she can play exactly what she wants to play, and pick a complimentary class based on that. That's what my fiancee and I did and she's loving it.

Not everyone's system does. If you'll notice, occasionally there will be times where load screens don't appear at all, or times when they take a second to appear and then disappear after a second or two, particularly when using transports. This is to 'cover up' any background loading that is going on. The game engine already detects (to a certain extent) what amount of loading is happening and 'covers it' with a load screen when it deems it necessary. tl;dr load screens aren't fake, if your pc is really fast why are you complaining

You can't possibly believe this. You know who Lucas is, right? Episode III WAS the best of the prequels, but look at what you're comparing them to. Anakin's fall was still not very believable, Hayden Christansen and Natalie Portman failed at any kind of romance/drama, parts of the writing were just as terrible as Ep1 and 2, and bits of it, even the ACTION SCENES, dragged on. If it didn't have Ewan McGregor to *********** PWN that last scene with Anakin (and the scene with Greivous) it would have blown period. But the entire PT would have blown without Ewan.

Good points on both sides, but the issue is that Heroic 4s are NOT getting done most of the time. It's hard enough to get groups for Heroic 2+. If you aren't on the fleet , chances are you aren't gonna find 3 people willing to group for a single planet quest. They should tone down the difficulty or turn them into world quests. Its true. At the moment its largely wasted content.

They're adding a new quest zone on Corellia and there is the Legacy and Valor leveling systems.

This is how loading screens work in nearly EVERY game. Things pop in one at a time, not magically all at once. A loading screen is there so you don't see the ugly pops.

As far as I know there is no smoke effects and fog quality is very reduced on Very Low. You can't play any game without fogging! Its how games hide the draw distance!

Not looking close enough. Do a bit more research on WoW and see exactly how -little- it 'revolutionized' MMO gaming. There's a reason why people called it Franken-MMO for a loooong time after its release. SWTOR has just as much, if not more, innovation than WoW, and I think it hits the nail on the head a lot better.

Actually, the people that are paying for WoW are telling Blizz how terrible their game is on their forums too. We just don't see it because we play TOR instead. I'm certain that, and I admit I haven't played WoW in a long time (never got hooked, felt it was pretty flat), but, there are just as many "wow is losing subs fast" "guild wars 2 the wow killer?" "im unsubbing and going back to second life" threads as here.

You can always argue "go to a new server" but that defeats every social relationship you've made on the server you chose to begin with... Have to restart your Legacy, find a new guild, make new buddies, any IRL friends you have probably won't be willing to move with you just when you wanna play your alt... I already have 8 characters and I've deleted two to remake new ones. I didn't think I'd get hit with alt-mania but I have, and 8 slots just isn't enough.

SWTOR has pretty good combat overall for an MMO, and pretty decent for a PC RPG too. Imagine every 1.5 seconds (global cooldown) is a 'turn' and it just goes really really fast. Honestly, before DAoC/WoW combat and their ilk, MMO combat was pretty horrible... Mostly auto-attack with a few conditional abilities...
