Just remember - the only thing you will ever actually own from this experience are screen shots - in 10 years time, after this game has past - that's all you will have left! Life it too short to be getting upset with digital pixels!

I agree OP - it was a nice idea and should have been here ages ago but as usual it was very badly implemented. Why they cant just do it right from the start and not have to upset their paying player base with these ridiculous restrictions - and having us to complain to them until they finally change it. Its not as if they didn't receive similar feedback on the PTS - but they still decided to go live with it. It is just another one of many mistakes from this amateurish company!

It wouldn't have been such a terrible idea if the gear hadn't been designed so badly - of all the games I have played this game has the worst looking gear ever!

Yeah - I was surprised that the end-game gear looks exactly the same for both PVE and PVP - I am sure I remember a video interview with one of the devs before the game launched saying that other players will know if you are a PVP'er or PVE'er by the gear you wear in endgame! So much for that idea!

Yes - the only reason I am here is because it is (kinda*) Star Wars - and since they shut down SWG so it wouldn't be competition to this, very badly run game - there is no other Star Wars MMO for me to go and play. I do like many aspects of this game but hate so many more. Bottom line - if it wasn't (kinda*) Star Wars I would have dropped it like a hot snot about a year ago. * - Kinda - while there are a few iconic SW things in game - it feels more like a generic science fiction game most of the time.

Well my experience was this, I compared my level 51 Scoundrel with full WH gear in all slots except for the Chest which is EWH - with another player in PVE gear earlier today. They had about 40 more HP and about 2 more Bonus Dmg points than me - to be honest these were the only two stats I looked at. Now I know its not a huge difference - but this player was level 37 - and had a mix of green, blue and orange gear which ranged in lvl from 29 to 37. So yeah - it seems that PVE gear of even lower levels is now better in WZs than the WH gear that takes quite a bit of effort to get. Its disgusting that they even came up with this idea - let alone implement it - such an insult!

They have messed up big time with PVP from the start - imo its not getting better its getting worse!

Yes - we (my guild) were discussing this at length the other day - it would have been a logical move to have different groups - 10-29, 30-49 and then 50-55! Unfortunately BW/EA don't do logic - now we have this ridiculous situation where they have removed expertise and its leading to all sorts of grief and discontent from the PVP playerbase.

/signed I am so angry and annoyed with this so called "fix"! I have been a continuous subscriber since the start and a lot of things have annoyed me in the past but this decision really has me thinking about quitting the game completely.

This happens when you get stuck "in motion" - meaning when you are in the jump animation where your arms are sticking out - if you use the /stuck command then, it kills you - at least that's my experience.

You also have to look at how many people per instance - I was in instance 34 on the Red Eclipse all by myself - so its possible for an instance to only have one person!

Not sure how many lvl 50 alts you have but have you tried using your Heroic moment? I just recently lvled up my Sniper and Sorc in the last 3 weeks and I had no probs completing any of the class quests on Voss - but I did have to use my Heroic Moment a lot and I had 6 lvl 50s at that stage!

Except abuse - I hated doing pugs on my tanks so much I only run with my guild now - I am not saying I didn't make the odd mistake but when you have some arse of a dps running ahead of the group and pulling aggro from 2 groups of mobs at once then giving out crap to the tank for not taunting them away from him is just too much to bear!

Excellent guys - thanks for posting - I see Blizz seems to be the most popular or most often mentioned companion! I wish they had given one of the Republic classes an Ortolan (the little elephant guys on Hoth) - it would be the Republic version of Blizz - I LOVE the language of the little blue guys!
