So, my 2 cents regarding PvP.
Only having 3 types of WZ (sorry, civil war and coast are too similar). will get non-hard core players burned out too quickly. In addition, some people really hate a certain type of WZ, and making them play it just breeds resentment. There needs to be 1 larger PvP WZ that is a little less zerg-fest and more nice, i have a chance to sip my fine whiskey and crack a joke to my friend. There also needs to be a smaller WZ, so that way a smaller group can create a premade and compete. AND PLAYERS SHOULD HAVE A CHOICE WHICH WZ THEY WANT TO QUEUE.
Now, obviously 2 things prevent that. 1st is low server populations and lack of cross server PvPing.. 2nd is Faction Imbalance 1st issue is an engineering problem which should get solved, second is a design issue to which I have no solution.
In regards to OP/NERF argument BS:
I am not quite sure why the "balance" issue can't be addressed by a mathematical modeling. where a few basic rules hold.
1 pure DPS class should not be able to do significantly more damage the another pure DPS class. Access do damage mitigation/defensive skills should be taken into account.
2. Healing builds should be able to heal roughly the same amount of damage.
3. Tanks should have similar damage mitigation skills.
If those rules hold true, everything else becomes composition of groups/gear/skill of parties.
