  1. So, my 2 cents regarding PvP. Only having 3 types of WZ (sorry, civil war and coast are too similar). will get non-hard core players burned out too quickly. In addition, some people really hate a certain type of WZ, and making them play it just breeds resentment. There needs to be 1 larger PvP WZ that is a little less zerg-fest and more nice, i have a chance to sip my fine whiskey and crack a joke to my friend. There also needs to be a smaller WZ, so that way a smaller group can create a premade and compete. AND PLAYERS SHOULD HAVE A CHOICE WHICH WZ THEY WANT TO QUEUE. Now, obviously 2 things prevent that. 1st is low server populations and lack of cross server PvPing.. 2nd is Faction Imbalance 1st issue is an engineering problem which should get solved, second is a design issue to which I have no solution. In regards to OP/NERF argument BS: I am not quite sure why the "balance" issue can't be addressed by a mathematical modeling. where a few basic rules hold. 1 pure DPS class should not be able to do significantly more damage the another pure DPS class. Access do damage mitigation/defensive skills should be taken into account. 2. Healing builds should be able to heal roughly the same amount of damage. 3. Tanks should have similar damage mitigation skills. If those rules hold true, everything else becomes composition of groups/gear/skill of parties.
  2. So, PvP on our server in under lvl 50 bracket is a joke. Pubs are completely unable to compete. (probably only win 1 in5 or 6 matches). I really dont see why its so one sided in under 50 where gear is not a huge issue. I cant believe that somehow good players choose the Imps (maybe thats true)? Server population wouldn't really matter in under 50. Since the patch its gotten worse., but not like the patch nerfed a faction.. Any thoughts.
  3. Is a new WZ really going to make non-Huttball WZ more common for Imps? Not a chance! Until cross server is implemented, Imps will play Huttball 19/20 times, and 18/20 after that.
  4. So, I actually had a chance to play it this morning (with a pub toon on Drogbas Pleasure Barge) I joined, there were 4 other Pub Characters, and 8 Imps. Needless to say I didn't get to get more then 10 meters from the start zone. The game didn't end even as pubs quit and it became 2 v 8. I will have to log in later today to try it again.
  5. So, just my 2 cents.... I got a few characters on Droba's Pleasure Barge. from PvPing as an under 50 point. Did a bunch of it on as a Sorc (47 Currently), and Commando (35 Currently). Gear doesn't seem to be that much of an issue, since team levels seem to be the same... But Imps are soooo much better organized there for some reason. Pubs just seem to run around chasing red names. . Then again, not an expert PVPer, so could just be my perception.
