I didn't know this existed.. Really wish they would make this an auto-join channel when you start the game.

I usually give myself half of the max level. Plenty of time with grouping maybe some multi-group raid/dungeons to realize if I hate it or not just my .02

Well what would a good profession be to replace it with? Something I could make some money and upgrades in the process? I currently have SW/Archeology/Underworld Trading. All at zero though.

I've seen several people talking in game and on threads about how useless and terrible Synthweaving is.. Yet they never state the reason. Being a Sorc I saw SW was a good way to make armor so I wouldn't have to rely on buying or hoping for drops to upgrade my gear. I haven't quite figured out why it's so bad.. Do the items at high level just scale terrible comared to other game items? No recipes at end game? Ridiculiously over priced to level up? Someone care to give me the low down before I start leveling it..?

I'm using Static Barrier quite often. Just wondering what dictates how much it absorbs? The actual spells rank/level, character level, or Willpower? (Sorry if this has been asked before.. I'm at work and have to use crappy IE6, I can't see the search button)
