  1. As the title says, will it return? I didn't have the money to sub to the game during the time of this event, and now that I am back to being a sub, I regret not being able to take part in the event. Those rewards look really cool! I just hope I can one day get my hands on them. Thanks in advance
  2. Alright so this is just a thought I had that I think that will work for this game. Leveling solely through PvP is almost impossible in this game, especially when 12x XP hits for class stories in May, but some people may just want to PvP to level. Here is what I suggest. Add a new item to the PvP vendor on the fleet, name it something that fits with lore, like "The holocron of knowledge" or something like that. This item, once traded for a respectable and balanced amount of warzone comms, would advance the player one level and give them some basic comms so they can buy some planetary mods to keep their gear up to par with their level. I think this would be a new and fun way to level new alts. Now that I have done all eight class missions, I am kinda bored with the same content for leveling over and over again. Just throwing this idea out there, feel free to discuss, I'll try to reply. Note: Please fix the brackets first though
  3. Yea, but they are all still 55. Have a Sage, guard, sent, vanguard, and scoundrel. Sorry but im kinda stuck on the imp side
  4. Just left my old guild like 2 days ago, looking for a new home. Looking for other solo ranked yoloers or even a team. I have a lot of alts, but i mainly pvp on my healer merc, dps pt, and healer operative. Here is my first season doing ranked.
  5. Jugg is a good class to start out with in pvp. You can do decent damage, and you have so many defensive cooldowns to make it to where you basically have 2 lives. If you don't like melee dmg, sorc is probably the next best choice. Hope i helped
  6. Seriously, it's not like the devs are going to listen to us anyways, they really just must not care about PvPers. They keep on telling us that they have all the solutions to fix the many problems in PvP, but they have not given us anything to go on. Musco said in a interview(done by snave) that they "had something better than cross-server queues". What is it? Well he won't tell us. I thought things would change come 3.0, we would get something really cool with the expansion, but imagine my surprise when I scroll down the patch notes on December 2nd and all I see under warzones is "A PVP Mission Turn in Terminal has been added to the Southern base in Ancient Hypergates." What the hell? New operations, new flashpoints, but no fix to the already broken PvP? Who is running this ****?
  7. I want to thank all the heals for queuing. Except you Vara, I'm tired of being out healed
  8. I have no idea. That is why I made this thread. Bioware says that they have all the answers, but they are not willing to share them for some unforeseen reason. Probably marketing reasons. They also denied the idea of cross-faction, so I am at a loss at what can be done that will be better than cross-server. Mega server sounds possible, I just don't know anything about that technology though to say if it is actually physically possible for the game.
  9. I know this is not the first thread, nor will it be the last, about the problem that is PvP in SWTOR. I am mainly just going to focus on endgame PvP (60) because lowbie pvp is a whole other discussion, and is covered in even more threads. Ranked PvP has a very casual feel right now because of the Pre-Season. Players are a little less irritated when it comes to losses, so this is a good time to point out some serious issues before season 4 starts. 1. Gear: This is by far the #1 problem with ranked. How hard will it be to implement some system that checks a player's gear before the queue for ranked? I feel as though it would only take a few lines of code to implement this wall. 2018 should be a requirement, without a doubt. The only protection we have from these either new-players or trolls is queue dodging. It should not be the player's responsibility to divide themselves from the unprepared. 2.Queue Times On my healer, I get about 2 queue pops per hour. Games last about 5 mins on average. This means that I am waiting for queue pops for 50 mins of every hour I am queued for ranked. These numbers may vary, but I am speaking in general here. A given player should not have to wait this long for game play, and this wait may discourage some players completely out of queuing. 3.Match Making Diversity Match making diversity (by my definition) is making sure that no 2 consecutive games are the exact same. As a healer, I often get the same team, opposing and my own. This makes for a very boring and one sided matches. Sure your first game may be close, but after it seems to not follow up that way. A system should be in place to mix up these teams if they have played together before. Even winning over and over again to the same team is no fun. I know some of these problems are said to being addressed by bioware, but how? All you have fed us is "we are working on it." PvPers have not seen a major patch since 2.4, and all that seemed to accomplish was the splitting of the PvP community as a whole. We need something, and soon. Preferably before season 4 or at the start of it. PvP in swtor has been neglected, and it is sad to see because when you do get a good game, it is one of the best gaming experiences out there. Please bioware, give us something. Give us info on a PvP patch. These problems need to be remedied in the not-so-distant future, or what is left of competitive PvP in this game will die out. Give us something, or we won't give you anymore of our time and money.
  10. I hope this post is a joke. Saying that a class should be nerfed just because you lost a 1v1 is a very sad way to compensate for you losing, or getting close to losing in this instance.
  11. I agree with you guys, but someone has to play devil's advocate or arguing on the forums would be no fun! Again, I am just asking if it will be present on these planets.
  12. Feel free to debate about whether there should or shouldn't be a support in the first place, but I am just wondering if the support is actually in the new expansion planets. I think it should be there, but I do play more PvP than PvE, so I can sympathize with your point. In PvP bolster is strong enough you can compete naked, so i don't see this as much of an issue unless they start queuing ranked. In PvE, can't you just kick the person? Group finder will be active enough that you can get a replacement pretty fast.
  13. So as most of us know there is a GSI satellite support on makeb that buffs the player to an acceptable level to defeat the enemies on the planet and progress through the story line without worrying about their gear levels. This was great for the 12x xp boost because almost everyone on makeb would be under geared. Being we are just coming off of the 12x xp, and almost all new characters are under geared for being level 55, will there be such a buff on the new planets? If anyone can confirm that would be great. Thanks!
