It was not BW call. Until now there has been no move by HERO, the engine, to create a Mac Client, but that has shifted somewhat. There is or will be an OpenGL client of HERO. But IIRC most of the dev is going to focus on iOS not OS X. Either way, BW had made so many changes to the engine, it wold still take a huge dev team to port it over native to Mac. having said all that...I WNAT THE MAC CLIENT!!!!!!

Maybe i am confusing everyone, by Mods I mean all of them in general, Mods, Enhancements, Barrels, Armoring so forth... By combination, I mean finding the best way to stack cunning, crit and/or power at Mid Game for the best DPS I can get because I am a Solo Player most of the time. Thanks Tmx

Oh, no, I understood what you were saying. I was saying that I was going to research what mods provide crit. Also wanted to figure out what mods provide power, surge, and cunning. I am trying to get the 4 piece orange gear right now so I can have the max mod slots to use and come up with the right combo to get the best stats I can. I am really just learning the ways of MMOs I have played a few in the past, but like SWToR I like the story and focus on PvE so I never got too deep on all the mods. This time around, mods interest me, so I am trying to learn about them. Thx for all the help Tmx

Working on finding the crit mods, I hate sucking at this game...lol

After making a few Mod changes, and leveling up, I am now up to about 137 Primary and 177ish per second. I really need to get the orange gear...picked up the Blaster from Hammer Station, now looking for the drops from the other FlashPoints. Then need to figure out the Mod scheme to get the most DMG and DEF I can. Tmx

After looking over my DMG I see that I am getting no bonus from Power. Having a guild member make me a crystal and a few other mods to boost that and my crit. Hope that helps some. Tmx

So, is that on track with where I should be? I have been avoiding the flashpoints, and I see that is a mistake. I am a solo player, so most group missions I usually skip, but I am going back now to run them. Tmx

For some reason, I just don't think I am dealing enough damage, according to my character sheet I am doing the following; Damage primary 1262-1742 Damage second 165-309 Am am currently level 22 Does this seem right? Tmx

See this might be where I am going wrong, I will have to pay attention next time I log in. But I thought that I could charge SL then use Aimed Shot, and still get the crit on my charged burst. If not, it is a simple correction to make in my opening, I just like to lead with Aimed shot because of the cool down TMx

Very helpful, thank you. I am in the deep end playing this kind of role. Not a huge MMO player to start with and the bulk of my time was in Guild Wars as a Necromancer. I am loving the game so far, and I am always trying to find ways to get better, or play better at my role anyway. Right now I open with smugglers luck - aimed shot - charged burst - and then I kinda flow from there. Always trying to keep my +% Crit up at all times. Again thx for the input TMx

I would love to know how you have your action bars set up. Are you using the cover bar? Also, are you still happy with your opening as you have it listed? I am just now gaining the AC, and trying to feel my way through. Lvl 13 and I usually just spam Charge Blast, opening with an aimed shot, then maybe a say charge, or a thermal. Not the best way to go about it, but in the early game, it gets me by. Thx for this guide.
