  1. OK. I do not know the names of all the skills but I will try and give you my typical fight rotation. I am currently lvl 26. I am using my melee tank. I am not using his name to avoid spoilers on the off chance someone does not know. For anything silver and below. I send him in. Wait for him to do his aggro aoe thing, then I pick a mob and launch my grenade skill. I run in and use the shooting skill you get when you create the character. The 'auto attack' one for lack of a better term. Then when I get close, I pistol whip a mob, hit pugnacity, and use the up close shooting skill that is not facing reliant. If I sent my tank on a silver, I will eventually make my way behind the mob and shotgun blast to the back of the head. Oh yeah, if I send my tank onto a silver, I will fire off the only ranged DoT I have after he does his aggro thing, before moving closer. I do not take cover anymore. I am putting my skill points into the Sawbones tree. Now, if I go after an elite mob, I will stack the slow release medpac on my tank before sending him in. Then I'll DoT the mob, Underworld Healing, Pugnacity, then close in to melee and his back. I go through my damage skills unless my tank looks like he needs some healing or the slow release is about to wear off. Does any of this makes sense?
  2. Would like an opportunity to talk to an officer. Character name is Barewyn.
  3. Would love to have a chat with an officer in game. Character name is Barewyn.
  4. Hello there. I created a scoundrel a few days ago. I have been looking for a good up to date guide for how to approach the leveling process. I have a max level Marauder and Powertech. I would love to find a guide that explains things as you level. For example, creating a guide that is only good for lvl 50s is not good for me at all. It does me no good to tell me an opening move could be abilities A,B, and C when I do not have abilities A or B. My scoundrel is only like level 16 or 17 or so right now. Right now, I'm just kind of flapping in the wind so to speak. I send Corso to attack someone, I pick off other mobs using the basic attack and then try to get behind others for a couple of attacks. I have found it difficult to stop doing damage in the middle of a fight to drop heals on Corso. So, any kind of tips and whatever would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  5. ChazDoit: I’m not much interested in Flashpoints and Operations but will I be able to purchase other features like full access to Warzones, purchase extra character slots, bank slots, and travel features? Damion Schubert: Yes! When the Free-to-Play option goes live, players will be able to purchase key upgrades to their game experience allowing them to bypass some restrictions, and this list will expand as time goes on. We will have more information about some of these in coming weeks. Can't wait for more info on this kind of thing. Will upcoming planets be purchasable in store? Like the quest packs in LOTRO. Also I too believe it is a mistake to launch F2P without some means to earn CC ingame.
  6. Yes please. These things need to respawn MUCH faster now that the servers are full.
  7. To kind of help the Community Team along with regards to usage of the word 'soon'. I offer you more choices via Sapience from the LOTRO forums. Soon Many more options to use there. Also, to people in here who are asking for specifics: You will never get them. I have been in LOTRO since open beta. You think you see 'soon' a lot here? HAHAHAHA If BW was to offer even the hint of a specific and something happened to delay the feature, they would never hear the end of it. I know it gets frustrating. But you have to accept this is the way things are done. Who knows, maybe they can egg an actual dev to get post happy. Oh yeah: it would be cool to know if classes have specific devs. How is that handled? I would like to know what kind of structure there is. Not to hold it against anyone. It's more of a curiosity thing.
  8. When I got to the end of ACt 2 of the BH storyline I had a legitimate yell at the monitor of, "Oh no, that's bull****." Loved the twist, and couldn't wait to continue on with the storyline.
  9. FWIW you should go ahead and post this topic in the suggestion forums.
  10. There are a couple of additions I would like to see regarding the /bug reporting menu. I would like to see a 'Character Stuck' as well as a 'Floating Objects' option added to the dropdown menu. There have been a couple of times where my character has gotten stuck. I wanted to report the location to the devs. Without the stuck option, I cannot accurately file a bug. To go along with these options, I would like to see more info on the bug report. I have no way of knowing what information is transmitted when I send the report. Sure, Bioware is prob tracking this info anyway. But, it would make my reports easier if I knew exactly what was being reported. Have a dropdown where I can select what server I am on. In the report itself, show the coordinated I am standing at. The stuff I am suggesting I have used and seen in the bug reports I file in LOTRO. It helps us, the users, to file more meaningful reports.
  11. I wasn't asking the typical "What's the best etc etc etc..." I was merely asking if the sites I found are fairly accurate with their info. Or if anyone knows of a particular site or guide that has better info. To me the Noxxic site looks to have a good layout and suggestions.
  12. For people that know more about the ins and outs of this class than me, how accurate are the following websites with their info? Sith Specs Noxxic Noxxic has a different page for each talent tree for the Marauder. The one I linked to is their Annihilation guide.
  13. I have been searching around for some good info regarding various specs. At times there appears to be some info that is at odds between places. Are there any good sites or guides regarding specs, gear choices, stat priorities, rotations etc for the 3 trees as a Marauder?
  14. This issue was fixed for my Pureblood Sith Marauder with today's patch.
  15. Hey all. I am currently rolling with the NORSE build as a Powertech. My question is simple. I am right now 37. I am at the point where my mods are starting to have 3 stats each. What should I be focusing on stat-wise? I am not worried about gearing up to tank instances right now. So, I am looking for PvE leveling suggestions. Do I mod for the defense stat? Or just go all out crit/accuracy/power? I understand that since I am not running with the IGC, I do not need to worry about shield and absorption. I have read and TRIED to fully understand the wonderful thread for specs and rotations that has been stickied. IT just takes a while for it all to sink in. This is simply a gearing question. Thank you.
