  1. I've never been a big fan of PVE content, but really enjoyed the macrobinocular and seeker droids quest lines. The heroics are awesome. I can't stand doing dailies, but for whatever reason I find fishing with the seeker droid relaxing. Its what I generally do between PVP and raids to make extra cash. I've got all the seeker droid achievements, multiple sets of both types of gear, and all three vehicles. That is how I see fishing, as an alternative to dailies; something to fill the gap and make some extra credits. Note that I am not talking about the actual seeker droid dailies, but just fishing. You find all kinds of stuff to vendor and sell on the GTN. Regarding the actual dailies though, if you are doing them for rep do them in a group. Each group member can be on a different part of the planet and all group members get credit for whatever each individual member completes. So group up and split up. My first run through the seeker droid quest was unbuffed and I still enjoyed it greatly. It didn't feel too challenging, but I would definitely recommend using at least green buffs for finding the dread seeds. They are cheap. If you complete the quest line and continue fishing you will want to start using the blue buffs. You will be completely wasting your time fishing unbuffed because I guaranty most of your competition at each site will be buffed. If you are going to use the blue you need to craft them yourself or supply the mats to a guildie that can. The blues are too expensive to buy off the GTN. Another thing I enjoy about fishing is I often get to PVP while doing it. Most of the time (but not always) I leave flagged folk alone, but am hoping they will attack me, generally when they do attack I will still have 95% health left after they are dead. So here are some tips regarding PVP. Excluding Outlaw's Den, you can get to every dig site without being flagged regardless of being Imperial or Republic. Being flagged is an invitation to PVP. If you don't want to PVP, don't get flagged. If you decide to fish in Outlaw's Den, you need to go in with the mindset that you will likely have to PVP, even though most times you won't. Unless you know you rock at PVP, do not attack anyone. Often there are a handful of PVE'ers in there who won't attack you as long as you mind your own business. Don't run or drive close to them though. Maintain some space. Oh, and don't even bother going into Outlaw's Den before you are 55 and have some PVP gear unless you are willing to risk the chance of not only being attacked but easily killed if not killed in one or two GCDs. I call it fishing, which is really the attitude you need with it. Maybe you catch something nice, maybe you don't. In any case you will catch enough stuff to make some credits. Use Dulfy as a guide. Use at least green buffs; blue are much better. Don't get flagged or attack others unless you know you rock at PVP.
  2. In the current UI there is room for two more cargo bay tabs. I would like to see one more for the character and then another one that is a legacy cargo bay slot. Only unbound and legacy bound items could go in the legacy cargo bay slot. Regarding credits, I would prefer it if I only had a single wallet that was shared by all my characters.
  3. Yup I rebound keys on the right side of the keyboard for space combat as well. Up and down don't work.
  4. Regarding the heroic space missions, you are not alone. There are very few people who can complete them. They are way overtuned for the average player.
  5. The only space abilities I have not been able to rebind are up and down, but missing those two I think makes most of the heroics virtually impossible (at least for the average player) to complete since you cannot avoid enemy fire well enough just going left and right and rolling. Note that I am using the mouse for movement, where cycling between up, right, down, and left would be used for general evasion. All four abilities, right, left, and roll can be rebound. I used keys that I don't use in regular gameplay, e.g., 9, 0, -, =, o, p, [, and ]. In the keybind options every ability has two options for keybinds. Change the second option for 1, 2, 3, 4 if you want them something different for space combat than for regular play. To change your roll keybind add a second keybind to jump. It would be nice if there was a separate set of keybinds for space combat though so I could use the region of the keyboard my left hand is generally at. I had to use a different region since I don't have right and left keybound for regular play, nor up or down, but again, rebinding up and down is broken in space combat.
  6. The bug noted by the OP is at the top of the list of what I'd like see fixed first in the game, as well as all the other companion bugs. Make a companion bugs patch. To add to the list... Doc often forgets his stance if I use another companion. I might go a while before I discover that Doc is no longer in his healing stance. Drives me nuts that companions break their backs to look at me. They turn their shoulders and not their waists. Try turning your shoulders without turning your waist. It doesn't work and looks totally messed up. I would rather my companions not bother to face me at all, but if they are going to, have their bodies completely turn, feet and all. Companions spawn before you do when using quick travel or logging in. Why? When they spawn they are hunched over like disabled droids in movies.
  7. 1. Fix the issue where companions will sometimes not reappear after using a mount, rocket boost, or elevator while grouped. Super annoying. 2. Make my companion stop breaking it's back to look at me. Companions spawn before players on fleet and are bent over like disabled droids in movies. Once you appear, companions then turn their shoulders, but not their waists, to look at you. Try turning your shoulders without turning your waist. It doesn't work. It makes the companions look totally unnatural. I don't need my companion staring at me anyway. lol. 3. I'd love to waste more money on cartel items but don't have room to store any more bound items. Add one more standard cargo bay tab and a single legacy-wide cargo bay tab, add a second inventory tab, add more gear sets to the collections (not just cartel sets), and make crafting materials on all characters accessible to crafting on any character regardless of them being in a standard cargo bay tab or the legacy shared cargo bay tab. There could be limitations on what you can put in the legacy cargo bay tab such as the items either must be unbound or legacy bound. I would mostly use it for xp buffs, stims, adrenals, med packs, legacy gear, and other items for leveling characters.
  8. Nice Savara. You should post it here. It would put you in 5th place cross server and first on the Harbinger.
  9. Thanks. Star Wars seems to be a curious blend of medieval (knights/monks) and sci-fi, but the axes were an afterthought. Made me look demonic and I dug it.
  10. Me on the right and my companion, Doc, on the left. http://s24.postimg.org/wey2w6ymt/rigpa_doc.png
  11. 6 seconds on Serendipitous 4.5 seconds on the kinetic force relic
  12. I tweaked the last sentence in the original post to specifically mention PT/Jugg tanks. Thanks.
  13. I'm very skeptical of the Matrix Cube being best in slot, but have no idea how one could test it since whacking on the PVP dummy doesn't turn on bolster.
  14. The Conqueror Relic of Serendipitous Assault is a given. So what about the second relic? I tested the two force relics since sentinels will have a better chance of them critting than the tech relics. Since the internal force relic ignores armor it always does 208 damage uncritted and 392 damage (with my crit modifier) critted. Here is the breakdown for the kinetic force relic: damage / damage with crit PVP dummy: 221 / 418 PVP dummy and Shii-Cho Mastery from Focus Tree: 235 / 445 PVE dummy: 180 / 339 PVE dummy and Shii-Cho Mastery from Focus Tree: 201 / 379 For PVE an internal force relic is the clear winner. For PVP I went with kinetic force. It may do less damage against some tanks (PT/Juggs possibly) but more against everyone else.
  15. Thanks Sataru. Still not sure what relic I'm going to replace it with. Fortunately healers lose the buff as well. Awesome hit, though you may have missed mine ... 13,249 http://postimg.org/image/3pn9xvp25/
  16. Biggest Hit: 13,249 http://postimg.org/image/3pn9xvp25/
  17. It is definitely in the game. I traded my parts in for an Explorer yesterday.
  18. I haven't been experiencing this, and as someone else mentioned, it may have something to do with the time you are playing. I generally play around 7pm to 2am PST leaning more toward the later hours of that range. If I get on before the other guildies and pug by myself my win/loss ratio probably averages around 6-4. Granted if you are solo pugging you can run into longer losing streaks or winning streaks depending on what premades are q'ing up at the time on the pub and imp sides. But overall I feel like I marginally win more than I lose even solo puggging. Then if I grab a competent healer from another guild my ratio probably jumps up to 7.5-2.5. If I am grouped with Dronabinol, Dari and Benno, or Dronabinol, Spart and either Dari or Benno it becomes more like 9-1. If we happen to get a pop with two of our premades in the same warzone it is really rare (and embarrasing) that we lose and I think the 2 or 3 times it has happened 3 of our grouped guildies were new and/or not really pvpers. I can't speak on rated. Including C'seven we currently have 6 players I think could be somewhat competitive in that context. We'll see if we can fill those two open slots at some point. In terms of unrated PVP, probably the most pivotal difference between the pug and imp sides is the number of healers. If solo pugging on the pub side there is a good chance you won't have any healers, and if on the imp side there is a good chance you will have too many healers. Generally our 4 man can carry 4 pugs. Where it starts to get difficult is when the other side has three competent, evasive healers and a tank shifting guard on them. You can't really afford an off team that doesn't have 2 competent DPS who interrupt and focus target, because your 2 DPS alone are going to have a hell of a time killing 3 good healers with shifting guard. And if they have good DPS then you'll still want a semi-decent healer on your off team as well. Getting 3 good pugs can feel like winning the lottery. At this point the game is in the hands of your shadows. I'm almost equally as sad to get a pug team without a shadow as I am to get one without a healer, and even then good shadows are considerably more rare than good healers. Summing up, I don't think everyone on the pub side is experiencing the slump you are. In some classes the imps may have some marginally better top tier players than what the pub side has to offer, but certainly not an exceptional number of them, and I haven't found any of them to be so much better that games aren't competitive. If the imps have any advantage at all in unrated PVP it seems to me to be the greater number of healers they have, though if the healers on their side are not all good that can quickly turn into a disadvantage. Definitely the majority of really bad losses our four man premades have experienced have been against 3 healers where our off team was sorely lacking in DPS and our shadow or shadows were unable to pull off a plan B.
  19. When my valor was in the nineties I always became ops lead once my valor was 9X.5 up until I hit the next valor rank. Once you hit 100 you will never be ops lead again. Well, hmm, not sure what would happen if everyone on your team had valor rank 100. In any case, I haven't been ops lead in months.
  20. My server died, and then my guild died. I can't grasp why Bioware let it go this far without fixing bugs and implementing server mergers. Server transfers will be a little late and don't keep communities intact. Main reasons people I know left the game. 1. Buggy ops 2. The sound not working since 1.2 3. Long PVP queues 4. Difficulty finding groups for HMs 5. No world PVP 6. No cross-server PVP In addition to fixing and implementing the above I'd like to get a reasonable amount of credits from PVPing once again. But in general, bugs and not enough people to play with are the two main problems. More content is completely useless if so many bugs still exist and there is no one to run the content with. It blows my mind the sound hasn't worked in this game for weeks and weeks.
  21. How to improve the current gear if there isn't time to start over: Sorcerer PVE : Get rid of the aluminum bits. Retexture so that it doesn't look like a smeary fingerpainting or tie-dye made by a 3 year old. Sorcerer PVP: This one is tougher. That helm is over the top funky, but I would at least remove the spiderweb wing on the left shoulder and retexture so that it doesn't look like a smeary fingerpainting or tie-dye made by a 3 year old. Warrior PVE: Considerably reduce in size the shoulder pads. Retexture so that it doesn't look like a smeary fingerpainting or tie-dye made by a 3 year old. Warrior PVP: Remove or make much more subtle all the pointy stuff. Retexture so that it doesn't look like a smeary fingerpainting or tie-dye made by a 3 year old. Bounty Hunter PVE: The helmet is not one of the worst, but could still use some work. Reduce the shoulder pad size considerably. Retexture so that it doesn't look like a smeary fingerpainting or tie-dye made by a 3 year old. Bounty Hunter PVP: Reduce the shoulder pad size considerably. Reduce the knee pad size. Don't mix orange and yellow together. Retexture so that it doesn't look like a smeary fingerpainting or tie-dye made by a 3 year old. Agent PVE: The helmet needs a redo. No way around it. The next worst part of this is the coloring. Retexture so that it doesn't look like a smeary fingerpainting or tie-dye made by a 3 year old!!! Agent PVP: Helmet could use work, but by far the worst part of this outfit is coloring. Retexture so that it doesn't look like a smeary fingerpainting or tie-dye made by a 3 year old!!! Sage PVE: Remove the raccoon eyes. If it's going to have a hood the dress/robe should cover both shoulders. Remove the green edge accent. Make the bracelets less chubby. Sage PVP: Sorry, this one just isn't salvageable in any way. Knight PVE: Get rid of or make much smaller the silly shoulder accents. Remove the smeary blue and silly circles. Make the wavy folds much more subtle. Boots need a redesign. Knight PVP: There is no fixing that helmet. Please remove all hot pink and gold. How about a bad *** black for this outfit? Remove large insect from left shoulder. Trooper PVE: Reduce the forearm size. The worst part of this is the coloring. Retexture so that it doesn't look like a smeary fingerpainting or tie-dye made by a 3 year old!!! Trooper PVP: Helmet looks more like something I would expect on a Bounty Hunter. Remove asymmetric left shoulder blade doo dad. Remove side knee plates. Remove green. Retexture so that it doesn't look like a smeary fingerpainting or tie-dye made by a 3 year old. Smuggler PVE: Work on the helmet and retexture so that it doesn't look like a smeary fingerpainting or tie-dye made by a 3 year old. Smuggler PVP: This looks like a bounty hunter. Remove goggles and side headlights. Remove wings on bracers/gloves. Remove pink from belt. Retexture so that it doesn't look like a smeary fingerpainting or tie-dye made by a 3 year old. In general, our pants don't need random smeary colored stripes and shapes on them. I don't think these adjustments will make this stuff look great, but would be a significant improvement.
  22. Weird power ranger, jetsons, tella tubby outfits do not make us say holy blazin awesome. Notice that these designs below are simple, elegant, mature, not exaggerated, don't have weird color choices and funky obtruding elements. You don't have to use every color in your palette. Stick to a brown, black, or white base on the majority of armor and add some subtle adornments. You don't need to smear a little pink, glowing green, and three shades of poop on my pants. Make my pants one color with an awesome cut and maybe a refined texture/pattern. You don't have to look at all the armor and say, "What colors haven't we used yet? Oh we haven't smeared blue and green poop together yet." http://donotargue.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/star-wars-the-force-unleashed-2-ps3-wallpaper-1920x1080.jpg http://www.gamescheatdirectory.com/uploads/wallpaper/262240bfe1.jpg http://images.wikia.com/swfanon/images/a/a9/Galen_Marek_Jedi_Knight_by_Cindrollic.jpg http://brutalgamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/mass-effect-2-kasumi-dlc-580px.jpg http://matteomazzali.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/maris.jpg http://matteomazzali.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/juno.jpg http://matteomazzali.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/shaak.jpg http://i.ytimg.com/vi/3kVgwaOy_PU/0.jpg http://www.themindofgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/screenshot-079-o.jpg
  23. People keep mentioning that at least we will be able to use orange gear end game now, but all of that is equally crappy. I would rather have 3 inspired, bad ***, elegant designs to choose from than 30 bargain basement, can't sell them at a thrift store, smeary colored, clown suits. What cool looks like... http://donotargue.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/star-wars-the-force-unleashed-2-ps3-wallpaper-1920x1080.jpg http://www.gamescheatdirectory.com/uploads/wallpaper/262240bfe1.jpg http://images.wikia.com/swfanon/images/a/a9/Galen_Marek_Jedi_Knight_by_Cindrollic.jpg http://brutalgamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/mass-effect-2-kasumi-dlc-580px.jpg http://matteomazzali.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/maris.jpg http://matteomazzali.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/juno.jpg http://matteomazzali.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/shaak.jpg http://i.ytimg.com/vi/3kVgwaOy_PU/0.jpg http://www.themindofgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/screenshot-079-o.jpg
