  1. You still take armor damage without dying. Prior to 1.7, if my armor was down to around 10/80 it would cost me 33K to repair. I recently repaired at 20/80 and it cost nearly 80K. Affording it isn't the issue with me, but any time a cost is increased so substantially, it doesn't sit well. We all like to see millions in our bank, and we can all agree that there are better things to spend credits on other than repairs.
  2. It's simply a credit sink. They don't want you buying cartel ***** off the GTN, they want you buying cartel coins from them for US currency. Repair costs are out of control, plain and simple. I like this game, and enjoy playing it. Having said that, reduce the F*CKING REPAIR COSTS!
  3. Rotation is: death field, creeping T, discharge, slash until crushing D or exploit weakness procs. I've tried including shock in the rotation to keep the crit proc up but it doesn't seem to add any DPS and it uses a ton of force. I keep DF, CT and discharge on CD at all times. I'll wait to use the crushing D proc if DF is almost ready. I can't see where the rotation is lacking. I'd really like to see what the DPS is if I could throw in assassinate for the final minute since that becomes a major part of the rotation when the mob is <30%. Obviously the training dummy won't let me use that.
  4. I've got a Madness Sin 7/3/31 build. 2128 willpower 894 force bonus damage; 1219 melee damage. 34% crit 80% surge. All 26 armor, mods, enhancements with power surge enhancements, power surge mods. I just spent a ton buying a 27 hilt, 2 27 armors, 2 27 enhancements. I'm going off the best I can on the OPS training dummy keeping all DOTs up DF on CD, etc.. I can't seem to manage much more than 1450 sustained DPS. Any suggestions or is this where I should be with those stats? I hear people talking about 1700 sustained DPS which is 1/3 more than I'm able to put out. It just doesn't make sense to me.
  5. I play mostly PVE with this build. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#200bcZcMZcMfRrbkrfz.2 I used to use 2 points in electric execution instead of insulation. I don't notice much difference in survivability or DPS drop.
  6. Your raid leader is misguided. 400 crit is plenty. Your crit chance will be above 40% when buffed. I have 438 crit and my crit chance is 41.78% buffed. You should focus on stacking surge and power now. My surge is at 486 and power is 373 and adding the power in place of crit definitely improved DPS. At this point I'm still dropping crit for more power as it adds to the bonus damage nicely. As for the Augments, always use the resolve augment.
  7. Artifice is terrible. No schematics ever drop except the lightsaber and occasional low lever color crystal. The crafted items on my server are priced so low it doesn't make any sense to craft them.
  8. So what's Bioware's take on this? Do they feel that the assassin (deception) is right where they want it to be or are they going to balance it and make my toon worth playing?
  9. Okay, got it fixed. 20% chance for the schematic... Risky.
  10. Then my question remains, does anyone know where the schematic can be found?
  11. Too bad it says "no research available".
  12. Anyone know where to find the schematic?
  13. Merge servers Bioware. It's not fun playing an MMO on a constantly "light" server.
