  1. Putting aside a bug that still returns after a year... the main reason is I've realized this game, it's consolidated story arcs, the skeletal (and rubbish) customer service... all point to a game that is no longer has real content development and no real future... If you want to read the annotated customer service response I got from my latest bug report you can read about it here: http://sins.imperial.cc/ressins/files///SWTOR_rubbish_support.jpg
  2. Also had this issue just now. Doing /stuck and going to med centre resolves it.
  3. I remember when SWTOR came out, Bioware said "oh hey we do all this data analysis and stuff and we can tell so much about how players experience the world and what they do". So Bioware... does your data analysis tell you that: 1) major parts of your end-game content are still bugged (no hard mode weekly quest, broken boss on Yavin) 2) the ridiculous blue item drops from L60 HM flashpoints that are inferior to classic comms vendor ... and this is reducing peak population and leaving guilds deserted most of the time? I un-subbed for almost 4 months thinking this Revan expansion would introduce some decent PvE content (without bugs). Having now got multiple alts to 60 I'm capped on weekly FP ultimate comms and capped on weekly rep.
  4. 1 to 4 absolutely. 5 doesnt work because some people don't want friends to know what alts they are on. 6 doesn't work because it results in less popular (longer) FPs being ignored. I'd like to add 2 more things: 7) The ability to lock chat windows. i.e. can show text in many windows but they are no clickable or movable and your default text always goes to your main window (the one you can link items too) 8) The ability to put debuffs on top and buffs on bottom of interface panels. Sometimes you get 4 rows of buffs/debuffs and it's just a mess. 9) Random elements to flashpoints. Switch the spawns around a bit. Change the make up of pulls. Running FPs and OPs a hundred times becomes tedious. Mix it up a little. 10) Open world conflict points. An planetary base that has vendors that sell useful items but periodically gets attacked by strong/elite PVE enemies. Give players a reason to defend map points (think Guild Wars 2). and my most desired/preferred one (which reminds me of Asheron's Call for those interested): 11) HUGE, open space terrain where you can run out to and farm groups of silver/elite mobs and farm them for a small chance of a rare/super rare/ultra rare item. Or even Cartel certificates. ANYTHING that will incent players to explore the world for rare spawns or "danger areas".
  5. So badly need paazal and swoop racing. If gambling is the issue, just change the outcome from money to reputation rewards. Or better still, a chance of winning a stuffed toy (read: a rare or super rare cartel item).
  6. I have to say that a 24 hour window to buy a one-time thing in the game is just stupidly short-sighted of whichever marketing person decided this was a good idea. I just returned from a work trip to find this whole thing had come and gone. A few of my friends didn't even know it happened (I don't remember seeing an email in RL or ingame). I had expected the SWToR was facilitating players of all ages and occupations.. not just people who log in every day. Fail Bioware. And a hex on the marketing idiot that came up with this 24 hour idea.
  7. For what it's worth, HTPRO, I thought your step-by-step argument was crystal clear and I do agree with every point. Assassin/Shadow PvE DPS needs a ~10% damage buff and a lot better fluidity in it's melee animations and play. To quote Alfred from Batman: "Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, [...]. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn. "
  8. Well my Investigator's Armor pieces were all bought from the GTN, and none of them had mods in them (I added mods myself later of course). The Investigator's Armor is not dimmed in the Collections view, it just doesn't have the "unlock" icon. If you browse through the Collections tab of armors, most of the "old" costume armors are not unlockable. I can only assume it's a bug that they will add the "unlock" button to later.
  9. I'm sure EA/Bioware would know that removing the rails/training-wheels from the space missions would lift SWTOR into one of the top league MMOs. The re-coding would be pretty extensive (AI of enemy fighters, collision detection, anti-exploiting) but I'd have to think it's in their 12 month roadmap. I've always felt that SWTOR really just needs 3 things to make it utterly addictive and yes, free control space is done of them. 1. Open world and space sandbox. Go where you want, explore where you want, with no restrictions in land or space. Imagine running (or flying) for 20 RL minutes to find some remote place with rare mobs to kill for rare items! 2. Guild capital ships. Imagine hyperspace jumping to your guild capital ship and navigating yourself into the hangar bay to land (think the PC game Elite and docking stations) 3. Dynamic events/missions. Randomizing locations/types of mobs in FPs (think LoToR skirmishes), opposite faction AI random raids on camps (think Guild Wars 2)
  10. Hi, Anyone know why some costume sets can't be reclaimed from the Collections tab? Specifically, I have the Investigator's Armor Set and it's now showing as collected in the Collections. However: - I can't unlock it for other characters - I can't reclaim it if I accidentally lose any pieces. ... but most other sets (Valiant Jedi, Eradicator, etc) have both unlock and buy options. It seems the "older" armor sets have this issue, but then again some like the Life Day robe set don't seem to be affected. Bug? Old tech limitation? Planned to be fixed? My incentive to collect further sets like this is fairly diminished I have to say. Any dev response or informed response appreciated.
  11. Thanks... I was hoping it would register different pieces on different characters. Once I get one more piece I'll be able to test to see if the bracer (which I have equipped on another character already) is detected - otherwise I've bought a second one anyway. I'll let you know how it goes - but at this point I'll proceed to look for good buys on the GTN to complete the set on a single character.
  12. Hi all, I have 3 pieces of Valiant Jedi armor equipped on character 1. I have 2 pieces of Valiant Jedi armor equipped on character 2. If I obtain the remaining piece(s) of Valiant Jedi armor and equip them on character 1.... will I then be able to pay Cartel Coins to unlock the complete set on all my characters? Unfortunately, the Collections window doesn't show individual piece progress toward the set unlock so I need to ask here. Thanks in advance.
  13. I can confirm that I was L40, halfway through the second class mission with only 3 companions to deploy. The second I hit L41 I was able to deploy 4. So it seems that level is absolutely linked to it.
  14. Good to know. I've just got to Treasure Hunting 80 and all the schematics are BOE custom lightsaber, custom double lightsaber so far. I've also got max levelled Slicing and Underworld Trading characters and I've never seen a BoP as any reward. Which kind of makes sense really... you didn't go through any personal risk (aka. operation) to get the schematic only your companion did... so why restricted it and your characters profile. To put some context around it... my Sith Inquis is Artifice/Arch/Scavenging... and my Agent is Armor/Slicing/Treasure Hunting.. I wanted all the credits and mission case rewards on the agent..
