ok so i just hit lvl 28 on my shadow and i was stoked to learn this sick new move called tumult. now me being the big pvper was stoked on this new ability until i found out that it couldnt be used in pvp! that leads me to my next point, tumult has no point in end game, and yes i no ppl see it as a "leveling tool" but with a 45 second cool down and it has to be used on a stuned target, makes it much less valuble as a so called "leveling tool" and what would the harm be in bringing this into the pvp setting? balance you ask? that leads me to my next point, now in the 10-49 bracket, tumult would do about 2k damage. this is where ppl cry imba. but lets look at another class, the sniper has ambush, it is on a 6 second cd and easly hits for 2k+ in the 10-49 bracket. also ambush is much mmore practicle to set up for snipers are almsot always in cover when they attack. while we as consulars, must either be in stealth or pop a CD to be able to use or 2k damage ability. now for the ppl who cried imba, does that seem fair? thsi also leads me to my next point which is fairness. i have seen on thee forums that ppl have said that all classes have a similar spells like this that cant be used in pvp so if they did it for use they would have to do it for everyone. this i find is not true. the only thing these "similar" spells share is there tool tip that does different things based on what type of enemy. ( such as it does said effect to weak and normal enemies, and w/e to strong enemies.) but each of "similar" abilities takes very drifferent approches to the set up of the move, some being harder that others. (and imo consualr being quite a hard/coslty one) now remeber this isnt a QQ its just a view and natualy others views may and will be different, i just wanted to try and reach out to bioware on a note that many consulars (mainly shadows) are feeling. thx Wiglaf lvl 28 kinetic shadow on darth xadrix pve server
