  1. I'm less concerned about trying to qualify the 1.2 changes as fixes/buffs/nerfs and more concerned with how the proposed changes are affecting player perception of the class. We went from "WAAAH! Sentinels are underpowered! Buff plz BW!" last week to "WAAAH! Sentinels are overpowered! THEY GOING TO BOMB OUR RATED WZs WITH FOCUSES!!@#"
  2. It's an interesting take on the Watchman spec. Some general thoughts: Skipping Merciless Slash seems iffy to me. It's one of the hardest hitting abilities we have. It does cost a non-trivial amount of focus but the damage:focus ratio is very good. Skipping Watchguard while taking 2/2 in Inflammation and 2/2 in Close Quarters. I'm a proponent of Inflammation but having Force Kick up every 6 sec. is more valuable. Close Quarters is also useful but 1 pt. is sufficient as that puts the min. range just outside of melee range (as in, 1 or 2 steps). Dual Wield Mastery adds a couple hundred points of damage (depending on your weapon) to abilities that use both sabers. Slash is one of these abilities but the additional 15% crit chance is indeed "better" from a damage sense. If you took Merciless Slash DWM would have more value. I like 2/2 in Jedi Crusader but you could probably get by with 1/2.
  3. It's not a bug and it is intended which is why this thread didn't receive more attention two months ago. And lol at Hizoka continuing his trend of posting passive-aggressive, borderline irrelevant "you're all bad" replies.
  4. It really comes down to what gives you the most bang for your buck for two points given your playstyle. Close Quarters is decent but I don't consider it mandatory, and 2/2 is just wasteful. I use Force Leap as a gap closer, escape tool, a last resort interrupt or to help peel for a teammate. I almost never use it as a focus builder. I suppose there's nothing wrong with using it for that purpose but I don't so CQ has limited value for me. As for Force Fade, I can't comment on its usefulness in PvE because I don't have much experience with high-end PvE content. As far as I know Force Fade could be beneficial in every fight in every flashpoint/operation. From a strictly PvP perspective though it's rare to really 'need' it.
  5. The issue with skipping Inflammation is you have to put those two points somewhere in order to reach tier six so your choices are either Recompense (lol), Close Quarters (decent but 1pt is sufficient), Focused Pursuit (situationally useful) or Force Fade (also situationally useful).
  6. I decided to have the best of both worlds. http://i.imgur.com/B9KUx.jpg
