  1. If after you finish ME3 you still have some faith in Bioware, then you are a far better person than me...
  2. It could make sense. If you are waiting, trying to trust a company, in hope taht next major patch will solve a lot of problems... and then, that same company makes the same mistakes in another product... You can come to see that the company is making the same mistakes and lost all hope. The problems in SWTOR come from communication and management. And they are doing in ME3 the same mistakes. So I lost all trust in that company, and quit.
  3. Well, for starters the BW only word about the thing is that "The ending is fine, and will not be changed or altered in any upcoming DLC", and that is psrt of that. And for me (And some others) is not a unrelated thing. If you are waiting in hope for a company doing a good job.... and that company slaps you in the face, you just stop hoping and cancel all for good. Is not only this game; it's not only Mass Effect... It's just that BW have lost all my trust.
  4. No, I unsubbed yesterday. Was waiting for the upcoming 1.2 patch, but the Mass Effect 3 mess really pull down expectatives about Bioware. I just don't think anymore than BW could do things fine, so I'll not get stuck with this. I just unsub, and will go to The Secret World and some single players, waiting for the western release of ArcheAge, or some other MMORPG with something that worths it.
  5. People in ME3 is so angered by the rushed and badly made ending than they (we) are canceling subscriptions in SWTOR. It's not just the badly done endings, and unfinished thing of the game.... is the complete lack of response from BW. They are alienating a lot of people. I was waiting for SWTOR 1.2, but after the ME3 failure, the only thing I can do to show my annoy with BW was canceling SWTOR account, witch I did yesterday. The are doing things reallly wrong, I'm afraid, and I'm here to have fun, not to be annoy, frustrate and ignored. So I'm finish with BW for good.
  6. This have nothing to do with movies. Most games work with some kind of sound system that allows then to tell the sound card where in the virtual space the sound must sound. Then, the soundcard, calculates the output for your speakers. I have 7.1 too, and most games sound nice in 7.1 Not this game, of course, witch have a crappy surround with 4 absolute positions (left/rigth/front/back) and that's all. The sound is the worst implemented part of this game. and that is a lot to say...
  7. Some have come with a lot of different alternatives; but being WoW in the middle of the scene, was impossible for some innovative option to prosper. Now let's see... WoW is going down. Now there is a chance.
  8. Sir, you are quite rigth. I'm a casual. I play one hour a day, when I can. If I can, I play 12 hours in a row, but that doesn't happen a lot. I have no problem in grinding, but migth be some grinding I like. Also, even if I don't have the best gear (Simply, no time enough in game, and no schedule for raids, of course), I think I don't lack skill. So, that's the thing. Casual is that gamer who doesn't put their MMORPG in a schedule. He plays when he can. And usually never compromise to play at a certain time.
  9. Don't worry about that. Coders are the most narrow minded people I've ever know. And I know it, I lead a team of then.
  10. There is a difference: In a sandbox you grind for what you want, and how you want. you have many ways of grind. Keep changing it only is a big relieve. Also, you grind for you objective. Your chose, sometimes unique in your server. In TP you grind the same that all people, for the same objectives in the same linear path. If you can choose do or not do something, that makes that something a lot more fun.
  11. I said this in another sandbox thread here. Not in Ultima Online, but in Ryzom (Witch I keep playing, and keep the suscription model), I really miss being an influence in the world. In Ryzom I negociated with other guilds to switch sides in the middle of a outpost battle. I knew zones better than anyone and people seeks for me to find some zone bosses and some resources spots. As I said, I feel pity for the gamers who never has know the feel of your actions impacting a whole server, with all their players. Most people get now are sad simulations.I mean the real thing.
  12. Grow a bit, boy. And learn what a fraud is really. For example, your post isn't a fraud, simply dumb. If you take the story part of this game, and compare it to, for example, Mass Effect 2, the only part that isn't worse is voice acting.
  13. True. The medal system rewards people who play to lose. And you can see this everyday. That is, the only quality play I get is saturdays and sundays just after reset, when everyone wants to win to get his daily. Two hours after that is just the same crap. Witch is a pity, because few things are funnier for me than a nice warzone, and that alone could be enough to keep me playing.
  14. Don't forget the Secret World... or, if it doesn't have levels, isn't an MMORPG?
