  1. So I was just wondering if there was something similar to what Melarra from Kaon Under Siege wears for players to wear? http://www.thelynennor.de/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/SWTOR_Kaon_Epilog.jpg < that's her. I didn't know where else to post this and I did a Google search but nothing came up so I hope I'm not stepping on any toes by posting this. I would love to be able to wear an outfit like this, even if it's just a similar-looking shirt! Does anyone have any info?
  2. Well your posts have put a lot better perspective on this. B| Suppose that's me and my bf's fault for expecting an easy fight from a world boss we had no idea about. . . . Never underestimate a level 18 mob again, let me tell you. Well, thanks for the information! I'll go back to hating droids again. And remember to do my research in the future. B|
  3. My boyfriend actually just got two today--the lucky bastard. One from a Purple box he purchased from the Voss commendations vendor and one randomly from. . . I think it was Diplomacy. His companion crit on a mission and he managed to nab one. BU He's always getting the good stuff. . . first it was tokens from the pre-1.2 PvP boxes, now random legacy drops. I tell ya. . . .
  4. So, my boyfriend and I just got a couple of our alts to level 50 again on Sanctum of the Exalted--Republic Side--and we decided that just for fun we would go down and kill the Coruscant World Boss--SD-0. Now, about 15 seconds into the fight, my bf's Shadow takes 36k damage and dies instantly. About 20 seconds later I get slapped for 24k, one-shotted again. Is this a glitch, or did the Devs add something in to make world bosses take out any level 50's that are looking for an easy kill? Cuz let's face it. . . 20-40k damage on level 20's that might be looking to defeat this level 18 world boss wouldn't stand a chance against the thing. Now he and I used to farm The First on Dromand Kaas for each other and we never had this issue. . . . So, new mechanic or bug?
  5. Bare with me on this one. . . I know it sounds kinda lame and stuff. . . . But I think it would be pretty cool if some boots had heels on them. Like how some shirts show the mid-drift if your toon is female, some of the boots could have high heels on them if you're a female toon running around. Sure, sure, it doesn't seem practical with all of the running around and fighting, but you see that a lot in sci-fi and action movies! Tough chicks running around in high heels and kicking butt. I think it would just be a cool little thing that could be implemented rather easily if given some time.
  6. I don't know why they would send you here. Even on my smuggler I can't see headgear that covers my mouth (things that cover my whole head I can see, but anything that covers my mouth but not my eyes I can't see). My boyfriend's consular doesn't show any headgear that isn't a headband. Definitely an issue and not something that should be suggested, unless you're suggesting they get off their butts and fix these bugs.

  8. I have three characters on two different servers, Davik's Estate (PvP) and Sanctum of the Exalted (RP). A Bounty Hunter, a Sith Sorcerer, and a Smuggler. :3 http://i50.tinypic.com/1zgyw3m.pnghttp://i45.tinypic.com/5ttces.png http://i45.tinypic.com/9usyyo.png
  9. Why did they? I mean, I saw in the patch notes it said "due to popular demand" but I lurk these forums all the time and as far as I know I never once saw anyone pleading and begging to have the two animations switched. . . . I mean it's not a terribly big deal cuz not only did I respec to Pyrotech but when I was tracer missile'n people's faces I wasn't too concerned with what it looked like and more concerned with how many heat signatures I had stacked. . . . Still don't know why it was necessary to change it in the first place though.
  10. I have two level 50's, a part-time job, and full-time classes. Literally. I go from 8am to 8pm three days a week. Rather have my old high school schedule back. . . . My boyfriend is working on his fourth and has a semi-full time job (about 30 hours a week). He couldn't decide which class he liked so. . . he's played them all Empire side. |: So as you can imagine all of MY time playing has been running him through his entire leveling experience on two out of four characters. However he is rewarding me by leveling with my Smuggler and teaching me how to tank. . . but I digress. Moral of the story: we're just beasts when it comes to leveling.
  11. This sounds like a great idea! You could even make it an active inventory so you can store extra stuff, but maybe only the active companion can do this? Just to balance things out. And I don't see why companions can't hold on to the crafting materials they come back with or can't stop by the ship on their way back and dump them in my cargo hold.
  12. I love this idea! I don't play on a role-play server but I'm a role-player at heart and when I duo through the leveling process with my boyfriend, I always try to come up with what kind of role his and my character play. Childhood friends, cousins, etc. since we can't actually be /married/ or in a romantic relationship with other PC's. This would be really a cool addition for that kind of thing! Often when I'm on my level 50 helping his lower level run through a particularly hard mission or a heroic/FP he can't/doesn't want to find a group for I always think to myself "<Insert enemy's name here>! You will not slay my nephew this day!" etc. I stopped saying it out loud cuz he usually just looked at me weird. It would probably be just a vanity thing with no actual benefit/buff/changes etc. Just a fun little thing for people to do with their friends lists and such. I see absolutely no reason why I should get a fancy title or extra legacy points. MAYBE some extra social points, but I wouldn't be torn up if that was a no-go. Just a little vanity option to make your experience that much better. Plus, since swtor is trying to make this story-oriented, it fits in quite nicely!
  13. Honestly I had played Champion Online for a while so when I started playing this game, when I went to delete one of my characters, I would always type their name instead of "delete" anyway. . . . Still did for the first three characters I deleted because of habit haha. Go to delete "Susy" and click on "Lucy" instead. Type "Susy" and get an error message, realize the mistake and click on the right character. Pretty tight system if you ask me. Don't see what the problem with adding this is and why people seem so against it. . . . I mean it wouldn't stop ALL of the idiots/really tired people from deleting the wrong character, but I'm sure it would stop SOME of them and free up a bit of time for the CS people and cause LESS rage. It might not stop ALL of the rage, but it's still an improvement, and any improvement is a step in the right direction.
  14. I usually rage silently to myself when this kind of thing happen. Say terrible things in the sanctity of my own room and hope they die in their next mob fight, or hope that all they got were those frilled pants that always pop up. Usually for the small chests that were just guarded by a mob I'll just mutter incoherently. The only time I've actually ranted and raved with lots of curse words--again, not actually to the person, just about the person to myself/boyfriend because I'm generally spineless--was when I was soloing this champion on Ord Mantel for one of those giant security chests and this chick walks up and takes the chest. . . . However it was in a heroic area and she promptly died after walking into an elite mob, so I was satisfied. I did, however, /slap her beforehand. Another time someone ninja'd one from me on Tython but gave me the loot cuz it was a consular robe and he was a knight. That was good enough for me. With the gathering nodes, if someone is fighting in the area of one I need, I generally just stand and wait to see if they try to gather it or if they just leave. I know how upset/miffed I get when these kinds of things happen to me so I don't do it myself. As for helping people, I usually wait to see if they're about to die--though my bf for some reason always hates it when I do--and once healed someone through an elite so he could grab the datacron it was guarding. The guy was nice enough to invite me to a group so we could share the loot. Let it be known that I had already gotten the datacron 20 minutes before that. One should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated! [/verbose rant]
  15. Spec'd correctly a marauder's force camo reduces damage taken by 100%. My bf uses this to g.t.f.o when he's about to die all the time. Don't see why they couldn't make a spec point for the other vanishes people have.
