    There should be a time line at the front of each book (at least there are for my hardbacks). If you check there I'm 95 percent sure it will say Deceived occurs earlier in the time line than Fatal Alliance.

    I'm surprised that I haven't seen any Falleen yet. They were heavily involved in the Black Sun and Hutt Cartels, as well as being very skilled politicians. I also know of at least one Falleen Jedi. Bothan and Aqualish have also surprised me.
