  1. Guardian leap on Friendly / Force leap on Enemy / Bladestorm on Enemy (Kind of like how you'd have Charge / Hamstring / Interverne) Probably a major panick button, Pulling off all survivability CDs. Sundering Strike / Strike is definitely up there.
  2. Come back when you're 5 level 50 Republics on for the whole Weekend. Then I'll listen. 3 on Week days. Feels good man EDIT; I'm sorry, I'm just frustrated, cause It's clearly a l2p issue from my side. Why am I not multi boxing?
  3. I keep seeing Yoda being the best swordsman. What? He was good, But I wouldn't say he was the best. Mace Windu is one of the people I'd say are the strongest. He took on the Emperor. It might not look impressive in the movie, But that's because Lucas didn't want to use CG like he did with the Yoda/Emperor fight. He can use shatterpoints. (And afterawrds he showed his prowess in the force, Taking on the Emperors Lightning and even reflecting it.) That alone says a lot about how strong he was. I'd say the only one able to fight him is Obi-wan, and that's only because he's such an extreme master of Soretsu and Windu wouldn't get a lot (if any) chances to use shatterpoints versus Obi-wan. Obi wan used this in the fight against Anakin. Anakin, being fueled at that point by rage and arrogance, got the short straw versus Obi-wans collected defensive form. Anakin got impatience and ended up pretty much killing himself. My point? There is no A > B. B > C Theyfore A > C logic in this universe. Different forms have their strengths and weaknesses. Luke Skywalker is probably one of the few that is outside this rule.
  4. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Whats your point? That the class that's regarded as the most OP get's the nerfhammer first? Applauds, your brain apparently knows how to get turned on. Let's see if it can do more then that. The others are in cases were they've been building up way longer then the Operative has been doing. They can't just redo it after wasting 2 GCD's either. You won't need a get out of Death Free card if your target is dead before it reacts. As implied, its a team game, He won't have his CC breaker up 90% of the time because he had to break something else. You shouldn't balance a game around having a CC breaker that you ONLY use on ONE class because the rest won't murder you inside of it. If you can't see this, You're biased. I've been with my team plenty of times, I'm dead before the first heal is done on me. If my second team member isn't either 1. A guardian that built up for the before mentioned 5k Sweeps or 2. A Scoundrel, Im dead. Unless My teammates got their stuns up. Yet again that brings up a weird situation. Should we balance the game around having stuns you MUST save for ONE class? Doesn't work.
  5. You. One person, Have done enough testing to show how this is all based on Forum QQ? While BioWare, sitting on Internal data from every Operative/Scoundrel player in the game, doesn't? Yup, You're either a troll or biased. Take your pick. And Guardians in Tank spec is supposed to survive. That's what they do. Even they are getting shafted by Operatives in a few seconds. So we should buff all other classes then? (because if you buff Guardians Surviability, the rest of the classes needs more damage...) Instead of nerfing one? What? WHAT? To the WZ. How do you not see the problem? You can in a matter of second turn the game from a 8v8 to a 8v7. If you pick the healer you shafted the enemy quite hard. A game shouldn't be decided by who got the most Operatives/Scoundrels. That's ********. You might say your team is in a 7v8 position because you're not there to begin with, but I call ********. You are. You are just not visible. If you're implying that the enemy team only needs 10 seconds give or take (For you to find the healer, Position yourself and roflstomp him.) to destroy the rest of your teammates, I'm surprised. Even if you don't kill him, the enemy team must've then all turned to you to stop you. That gives your team some strong momentum. And to put this in words I know people understand; A rogue in WoW killing off a teammate in 5v5 Arena in 3 seconds, Is that balance to you? Apparently so. I mean, There is no impact what so ever.
  6. How do you know BioWare is nerfing a class based on Forum QQ? How do you know there is no metrics? Just because you don't got a combat log, doesn't mean BioWare doesn't got internal numbers to go after. This point made your whole post seem biased. I'd Remove it. (Not the post, The obvious crying about stuff you have no clue about) Also, The Nerf is justified. If it's overdone, It will be changed again. The game is new and there is no competitive scene, They can still do plenty of these changes to get the game to the right spot. Perfect balance will never be achieved, but this might be a step in the right direction. Right now they're able to pick off weaker classes and players inside a 3 second stun. There is no way in hell you'll have your CC breaker up every single time an Operative comes stabbing you in the back. There is no reason you should be dead before you got time to react. Or are you implying rogues 1 shooting cloth was a good design in WoW? It sure sounds like it. As we got no visible metrics and only can trust BioWares internal numbers, we'll have to wait and see how it plays out. Right now I'm seeing a lot of Operatives crying foul before anything has even happened. For all you know this will have a minimal impact in the end and you can still kill people 1v1 without any problems.
  7. That works well and all, but things like me guarding you, and taunting people to keep them from max damage doesn't "show" nearly as much as that green beam of health. I also sort after protection and healing, and obviously looking at medal count. a player with 8 medals and lower healing/damage/protection then the rest is usually sitting on a good 3 Defender medals. That guy is doing the job everyone is refusing to do and does it like a boss.
  8. There's a few simple reasons why; One will always be easier to obtain then the other. If the case is that both got the same stats - One side will QQ and say "Hey, look at those PvE people, They only need to go do an operation that takes x hours. I need to grind for Y hours to get the same results." or "Hey, Look at those PvPers, They only need to farm for X hours while we PvErs needs to do an operation that takes Y hours and the loot is random". One side will then always be gimped. The only way to make gear unattractive to the other is to make it different. And if the math shown in this thread is true, then you're ************ about 1% difference in EH and ED? If you can't overcome that you'd still be roflstomped by the PvPers. Don't be a lazy bastard that only want to play 50% of the game for 100% of the reward.
  9. Lots of Imps in this thread not getting the Fuzz. The problem isn't PvP (Yes, yes, Illium is imbalanced, w/e). The problem is PvE. I play on a sever, that now got "Standard" Population. Peak hour at the republic fleet? 15-20 players. Have a Sith toon on the same server, Their peek hour? 200+. This brings some heavy problems to the PvE, as It's impossible to get Flashpoints groups, you can't really find people to quest with and the situation as a whole is hopeless. PvP on the other hand, Is a completly different story. Hardly lose a game. As we're so few, everyone knows each other in the WZ, Everyone knows what to do, and where to go. Then we're a well oiled war machine just roflstomping the opposition. How to fix this: There got to be a server out there with less Sith then republic players, or an even ratio. Start merging these with high Imp:Rep player ratios. This will at least even things out. Everybody wins on this, too. The republic players are all of a sudden able to PvE, and the Imp players will not have WZ queues approaching the absurd, and when they get one it might not just be Huttball for once.
  10. The OP is probably a scrub player getting 2-3 medals at best. Now he wants MVP votes for doing **** damage, not defending and trying to plant the bomb with 8 players on his ***. The people with the most medals are usually the ones with the highest Damage, Protection, healing and objective score. They usually got at least the warden medal too. Why don't they deserve the MVP vote?
  11. Interesting read. What shocked me the most is the obvious imbalance with a 90 SEC CD vs. a 60 SEC CD on the same abilities. All the other "bugs" can be "justified" by the simple statement of "oops, The animations are doing this, sorry. We'll look into it". The cooldown is just right out retarded and shows that the Devs obviously shouldn't be creating Online games, as they can't even look by their own personal bias when creating a game that should be Balanced. EDIT; Im very well aware the actually fixed the cooldown, That's not the point. The point is that something like that actually made it trough the BETA. It shouldn't even make it trough Development or the ALPHA.
