You are so wrong about this. Im main tank for my guild and we have all operations hard mode on farm status. We dont even use 2 tanks on the KP "shower" bot boss, and I keep tanking it 100% of the time with 10 stacks with no problem.

1.2's splitting PvP / PvE gear will irreversibly DAMAGE the game.
JackBlackjack replied to Mirialol's topic in PvP
I agree 100% with OP. They splitting the game in two pieces just like WoW did. As a player I want to play all aspects of the game that suits my level/gear rating, but I dont want to have to focus on PVE or PVP, and do double work to enjoy the game. Unfortunately, they are just copycating WoW. And this is what is going to take me GW2. If I wanted to play WoW, I'd play WoW. Not WoW with SWTOR theme. -
EpikWang from Darkfall? Cool I think they figured that Ilum's popularity was not what they were expecting so they decided to "kill it" in a very light way, until they can work things out.

Remove 'Tumult' (Kick) from the game.
JackBlackjack replied to JackBlackjack's topic in Combat Styles
My friend, the only thing Bioware is required is to keep the servers running and keep the credit cards being charged. And you certainly dont see how other classes would complain if a specific class had 1 skill more than the others. Thats why I suggested to replace it. I thought twice before commenting on this reply because it simply didnt deserve any attention due to the lack of understanding of this player. You clearly have no clue, or fails to understand that the problem is not the Damage. The problem is, it is a 45 SECOND cooldown skill which conditions to use are: TRASH MOBS + INCAPACITED. Ok, now a newsflash for you: Assassinate is a 6 sec cooldown that can be used in any target (including players). What makes me EVEN MORE sad about Tumult it's because Bioware completly WASTED our COOLEST move with such a lame, useless skill. -

Exactly. -

Seriously guys, if you need tumult to kill a trash mob you are in serious trouble. Tumult is just useless, it adds too little to ocupy a skill slot in a class. Replace with anything else and everybody wins. -

Does that make it useful? Oh ok, thanks for your trolling. -
Yes, PLEASE, just remove it from the game and replace it with something useful. Anything: attack, defense, passive skills, whatever. At this point it doesnt really matter because anything is better than Tumult. Its not even on my 3rd or 4th quickslot bar. Why create a 45 seconds cooldown skill that can only be used on TRASH MOBs that happen to be incapacited? Now, would you replace it please? Thanks.

Damn, stop telling everyone about the boots trick

Can't believe I lost 30 secs of my life reading the OP. And another 10 secs to write this reply. Damn.

BW, I'm not a Biochemist and neither intend to be one. But seriously, you are getting things wrong. Just think outside the box. It's not because everyone is choosing Biochem that it needs to be nerfed. The reason why everyone is choosing biochem, is because right now BIOCHEM IS THE ONLY VIABLE OPTION. Get anything else and you are in disadvantage. There are a few ways to fix this ridiculous discrepancy from biochem to other skills: FIX the other skills. And im saying "fix" not "buff it" because seriously, I cant believe the other skills are working as intended. There are a few ways to this without bombing biochem. You can give every crew skills a line of consumable items, related to its main craft purpose. For example, if you are Synthweaving which crafts gear for Force oriented classes, than give Synthweavers a recipe to create a consumable or clickable that adds X% force regen for a few moments, or anything similar to that. With this kind of recipe you not only give other traders a chance to craft decent stuff, but you also help the market overall, because consumables are what sells more, since people need to buy them repeatedly.

This alone would balance things quite well. Why Biochem gets all the love? Ok, Cybertech also have some consumables (granades, right?), but what happens to all the Armor crafting skills? Once you hit 50, people go after PVP Gear or Raid Gear which leaves a very small market open for these skills. On the other side, people need to buy Stims and other consumables everyday to raid heavy stuff or do some quality PVP. I also know that this is not the main reason why 80% players are rolling Biochem (they do it becase of the overpowered endless click heal thing), but despite the ridiculous good items Biochem can craft, they also have repeatable customers for their stuff. Synthweaving which craft Force oriented stuff could have consumables to increase Force Regeneration Rate or Temporarly boost Armor crafted by the skill. Armortech should have similar stuff. Theres no point giving all the love to Biochems.

Hello guys, I didnt know where to post this, so I hope this is the right place. I got a problem with my Razer Naga while playing SWTOR. Instead of sending the commands to the SWTOR application its sending them to Windows. So for example, when I hit one of the thumbgrid buttons, it opens Windows Calculator instead of doing the mapped action. Anyone know how to fix this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
