  1. I thought that was because his species has weird birth-rate issues? Note: I'm not saying plural marriage shouldn't be allowed, just that Mundi's was a lore thing.
  2. I'm actually on-and-off frequently with the game. It's not because I don't like it, it's because I buy a month based on how much time I'll have to play. If it looks like I'll be swarmed with papers for school, then I wait a few weeks to resubscribe. If the question is simply "will I keep playing", then my answer is heck yes.
  3. I think this is just a Bioware thing. I remember having similar moments during the Mass Effect series. I also hate when you pick an option, and the dialogue is wildly different from what you thought it would be.
  4. Water or juice. I'm kind of boring like that.
  5. How do I "lack reading"? I'm specifically talking about women who get harassed who don't yell to the world, "look at me, I'm a girl!!" first thing. You're the one who keeps insisting repeatedly that women only get harassed if they're seeking attention in the first place. We're talking about two totally different groups. On an entirely different note, thanks for having the link to that large server merge thread in your sig. I'm definitely keeping it in mind for my next alt.
  6. I love the female trooper's voice, mostly because it's hilarious how much of a 1:1 it is for Shepard. The first time I played her, my fiance popped into the room, frantic and confused, asking "WHEN DID YOU GET MASS EFFECT FOR PC?!" On the topic of troopers, though, I love whoever did Jorgan's voice. He's definitely my favorite companion, when it comes to voice.
  7. My server's pretty light, so not many convos happen. The best one though, was the day after Episode 1 was back in theaters. We compared how the children in the theaters reacted to Qui-Gon's death.
  8. Really? I didn't know that a lot of people had problems with being referred to by their real name. I've always just referred to real-life friends in-game with their real name.
  9. You certainly implied it: "Sure there might be some exceptions but I've seen loads of girls qq-ing that they are being harassed but it are the same girls making "smexy" pictures and link them ingame, the same girls going "I'm a girl, so men should treat me as one" and the same girls aiming for attention from men ingame and go mad when they meet a bad apple." Anyways, my point is that there's a stark difference between yelling, "LAWL, Ima girl so give me stuffz!!" and not hiding the fact that you're female when you're asked. Part of the fun of gaming is NOT having to hide who you are. If you feel like you have to hide some part of yourself to be accepted, then something is wrong in the community.
  10. Really? I might have to try the Agent out just for that, then. The Trooper gets some nice ones later on, too. My favorite so far went along the lines of, "Yeah, it's hard being as impressive as me"
  11. And maybe you should try not assuming that women who get harassed in gaming are attention whores? Because god forbid, a woman respond honestly to a question about gender when they're surrounded by jerkish types? Or you know, it's totally the woman's fault for having a high-pitched voice in games with voice-chat.
  12. Anything but Taris. So many rakghouls...so much vomiting in pain. Actually, I really liked Tython. It just seemed so peaceful.
  13. Thanks bro, I'm going to look into it now ;D
  14. What class is that for, and where can you find it? Because that hat is spectacularly bad, and I kind of want it for my consular.
  15. I was really surprised when I saw the thread. SWTOR is the first gaming community where I haven't had to deal with crap over my sex. Maybe it's because of the lack of voice chat? As for the healing thing, I love playing as a healer. Finding groups is waaaaaaaaaaaay easier when you play as one. And as for the "it's 2012, we don't need to talk about this anymore". Short answer, yes we do. I'd bet all my credits that every female in this thread has had to deal with sexual harassment in gaming at some point or another. I'm sick of being treated as if I belong to a different species.
