  1. Love the game so much! Always wanted my own SW trylogy... its actually one of my biggest dreams ever... you have given that to me Bioware!!! Thank you soooo much!!!!!!!!!! KEEP IT UP! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
  2. Yeah, I saw this coming when I started getting super psyked for the game back in early August. I was listening to the Time Line videos (which may I add, they haven't updated since August!) & reading all the Star Wars lore (of this time period) that I could find, and I found the codes of the Sith & Jedi... after that I was like "damn, its gunna be soooooooo boring to be a Jedi compared to the Sith". I mean come on, I dont think anyone who is going to be playing a game that involves mass genocide on a daily basis would like to play a Jedi of "patience & virtue & peace". I was like, IDK about the Trooper, if they do it wrong, and dont capture that "dutiful when in the public eye, but totally chill/ screws around with other troopers when not" kind of emotion properly that a lot of other movies & games, it would suck... I dont think they did it perfectly, but they did just... meh Then smuggler... I never played it, but I her its also meh... what does that leave the Republic? Nothing. The fact of the matter is that in the movies when their was one single main protagonist, with no social restrictions (like the ones in all MMO's), where the character can become one of the most memorable of all time... that is was made the Jedi by FAR the favorite in the movies. Like Yoda, I mean if you just saw him in this game before you ever saw the movies; what would you think??? "Oh kewl, a lil green terd is leading the Jedi LOLZ". but in the movies Yoda was developed deeply and he became one of the most memorable characters of all time! Also the Empire is more brutal, and they just flow better with the mechanics of the game, and the elements that the combat revolves around. For example the bounty hunter is paid to kill, therefor he/she would have no problem at all killing every last living thing in a refugee camp (unless you made you BH a softy like my merc ) Sith would LOVE to do the above on a daily basis for fun!!! Agent would do it if they had to, but they would rather be seeking into a republic city to snipe/ slit the jugulars of some Rep. nobility. So in conclusion, Sith fit better in a mass killing atmosphere making it hard to build a good Jedi story in a MMO SUMMARIZED A LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG POST IN ONE SENTENCE LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Even though you only see her like 5 time in Nem'ro's palace and only for the b-hunter, my Zabrak Merc's personal story line (the one that I made not the one that the game did) fits perfectly with Nem'ro's Twi'lek accountant Juda. She is quiet, but she is flirty if you show your interest, which my Merc love in a woman, and my Merc has a thing for Twi'leks too . So naturally I was hoping that my merc could have married her or let her join my group or what ever, but now I will never be able to talk to her again ... maybe Ill write my own personal story about what happens after he hangs up his jet pack, blasters, and rockets to settle down with someone. IDK, its just she fit his "perfect woman" description exactly and I couldn't do anything about it other then flirt with her like twice
  4. I have not played enough PvP to know to a complete extent on which is best/ worst, and in between. What I do know is in less then one month of the game being live, Bioware has already created balance greater then what blizzard has been able to come up with in 8 YEARS of WoW... Sure Cover is a broken mechanic for PvP, because in nearly every game you play from RTS's like SC2 to PvP in MMO's, mobility is the most valuable thing in the world!!! and cover prevents your movement like 90% of the time. Its awesome for PvE and Missions, but PvP it obstructs your movement, utterly destroying you... Snipes and G-slinger Adv. classes are based off of those, making them naturally bad for PvP. But seriously, Blizz had 8 year for this to balance a game WITH OUT that mechanic but no, Furry warriors still only need to build up a lil rage to 1 shot anything, and Shammies have been nerfed to the point that someone has to go super try hard in PvP, with top tier gear (even at lower levels) and be happy that their not the lowest on the list!!! Bioware, sure you got the Marauder/ Sentinel thing a bit low in DPS &/ or armor &/ or health, and the cover thing, but I haven't seen nearly as much ima from SWTOR as I have in WoW and as I said you have < 1 month under your belt, and they got > 8 years... pretty good in my opinion!!! Ignore the trolls and newbs, and keep rollin' like ya are cuz your doing AMAZINGLY!!!!!!
  5. The force is obviously strong with you I saw this coming too, and I feel the same way as you. See since i'm an X-WoW player I get spidy senses... err, I mean messages from the force when people are gunna be stupid idiotic trolls. There are just so many of um that you can see it coming from light years and light years away! (THIS PART IS TO BIOWARE/ LUCAS ARTS/ EA/ ANYONE ELSE WHO MAY HAVE POWER OVER WHAT HAPPENS TO THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) (also if you want to see my direct point go down to the bottom paragraph ) The games is awesome as is, don't get discouraged by the trolls. They don't know what they want... I mean 1/2 of them probably are dubbing their own computers short comings as bugs; but even if there are quite a few bugs, I see you eliminating them extremely fast for all you have on your plate. I mean just compare your SWtoR to other big name games out there lets see... WoW: 8 years old yet same engine as its launch, buggier then SWtoR, its devs can figure out what they want to do with it (listen to the newbs that don't know what a rotation is and nerf everything, or actually make people learn the game to beat Heroics), and A LOT more for WoW, but lets move on... Rift: Still has some bugs even though it has been out for ~1 1/2 years, its "dynamic events" or "Rifts" are VERY fun on your way up, but once you hit end game you've done it so much your board of um by then, Combat for everything (except for Marksman specialty) is very boring due to lack of shiny/ explosiveness/ sound effects + the "WoW clone" mechanics Skyrim: EXTREMELY buggy at launch (way WAY worse then your launch), Though fully voice acted like SWtoR you aren't always able to actually pick what you want to say (a lot of the time it just ends up being a choice between say... agreeing to something in a polite reserved way, or agreeing in a snotty way), very bad texturing problems on 360 and a little on PS3... sure SWtoR isn't even for those ports but I mean if your gunna make a game for those ports you should attempt to fully adapt the game for it. etc... So basically what I'm trying to get across here is that you guys at Bioware are doing a STELLAR job on this game, especially because its your first MMO. Keep doing what your doing, and get professional testers opinions, not forum trolls (like Blizzard does). You guys are amazing and as I learn more and more about the creations process of games I shall keep the love and care you put into making SWtoR in mind and hopefully one day I'll be either working with you, or one of your major competitors (lol on can dream )
