So let me get this straight. I will need to farm pvp, which I hate, but if I care to, I can buy them off the GTN? Not seeing why on earth I should subject myself to the wretched state of ranked pvp. By the time I would get these, there will be new ones out. Just renewed my sub to FFXIV where hey, you get your gear by doing the things you like. I won't even be bothering with the test server if this is the way they are acquired.

I stopped reading through everything, but I didn't see anyone mention that with loot drops selected for Arsenal Merc, most of the offhands that dropped AND were obtained from the vendor were generators. Which arsenal does not use. Tried swapping it to the other options and some pistols dropped but still a lot of generators. I would be hopping mad if I got a generator from the vendor once this is live! Also for some reason, my healing sorc was getting sniper rifles on friday, but over the weekend all was well, so not sure there. I personally like the difficulty hike but a lot lot lot of folks were fussing and whining and MANY of the guildies who came over just to do the achievement for the speeder were /aghast/ at "green drops" and could not comprehend that they had to equip them to eventually get blue and then up. They were highly upset at seeing my purple and then yellow despite how many times I explained the ratings. Expect a lot of fussing and "I quit's" from people who cannot comprehend things.

They should hire Ghost at swtor so they can add someone else who completely misunderstands the differences between tank gear and skank gear. I nearly snorted my drink at the post showing zero gear and with gear as opposed to the post comparing skank gear to tank gear. And they wonder why people are throwing insults. And to contribute to this thread: our raid team is now planning to put in some dps gear to mitigate this change. Anyone else?

Well he said conquest crafting. That limits it right there.look what is used to craft conquest...sell those. I stopped doing conquest about four weeks ago so I think the recipes changed but they used to be lots of things.

This is a trend. Long standing subs didn't get the free thirty day code either. When a promotion states subscriber reward it means to ME that since I am a subscriber I will be getting a reward. I am not. Therefore I am grouchy about it. I don't care if anyone else gets the reward. Its just misleading and it hurts. Enough to unsubscribe? No but it adds to everything else. I now play more gw2 and am trying out other games. My sub is now every thirty days. They have not put the frosting on the cake yet but the cake has been baked. Little things like this are little, yes but the feelings are still there. It's the 'its not fair' feeling. Like standing in line to get the free handout at a convention and being told well I remember you from last year and you already got one so go away.

Why on EARTH are you asking US for input on what used to be repeatable and now is not. Don't you KNOW? Who MADE these ridiculous change anyway? Conquest needed a few MORE things to do not LESS. OR could have just been left alone.

When I first heard conquest was being changed I was excited. I assumed that MORE activities would count. If I did not want to gsf I could do something else. Maybe certain planetary quests would be added. The ones few people complete. Or perhaps targets...complete a heroic with this companion. Or run that flash point choosing the dark side or light side. Instead there are fewer choices. For fewer points. I already swapped my subscription to a one month at a time version. Do these people have any idea how the game works? My daughter just bought me the guild wars expansion. So far it's been really fun. Living world with ENTIRE new maps and quests and raids. Since the new year I've been playing there more than here...and only one match counting for PvP??? Really??? With this change maybe it'll just be there. I was hoping new things to do in conquest would even it out. This patch is terrible.

I definitely spend well over a million in repair bills over the course of two weeks. That is ridiculous. Because of that I have to play the gtn so sorry guys for those high prices. If only repairs in raids were only given to whoever didn't follow the mechanics... But still. I make money from the gtn mainly because people are stupid. I buy a box of upper armor for 5k. Open. Let it sit a couple days then sell the gloves for ten k and the chest for 300k just because people don't check the prices of chest and upper to compare. Oh sorry. Forgot advice wasn't supposed to include the gtn. Still. Highly effective.

A new operation??? Omg omg omg omg we get to do something new OMG omg omg. Wait. Like. A whole NEW operation right? Like. One NEW entire operation? Omg omg omg. Maybe one with three actual levels as opposed to stupid easy vs insanely difficult and nothing in between for real people? No wonder the ordinary person hates operations like God's...story mode is a walk in the park and I'm betting most have never even cleared hm TYTH. And for heavens same bring back the real names. Story hard and nightmare.

Heck I'd say most don't even stop to pick up the credits. I also don't find someone saying 'click the terminal' is being rude. I also note, reading through the thread that the op actually have two situations where vote kicking is acceptable...one for disconnect and one for incompetence/trolling in an operation. Well. Dragging feet and harvesting everything in a MM flashpoint just to do payback IS trolling.

Yep. I lost gl when I forgot to update an expired cc. Luckily the New gl just have it back when I got home from work and resubbed. This was about two months ago.

I still like the person who said they'll introduce it when they introduce solo PvP. That said the situation on Yavin was best. Two paths then a final boss that ended the story. But please don't make operations soloable. People would do them once only and never again(because the rewards would have to be miniscule or people would flip). The very funniest thing though is that this whole entire thread was started because the op wants to ABANDON the quest and cannot. They don't really want to do the operation at all. Let's see. You can solo flashpoints. How many times had everyone soloed battle of rishi? Once per character during the quest? None if you weren't on that questline? How many times in a group? I know my answer. Once solo. Just finished the 25 time cheevo for mm. Still have yet to finish the veteran one since if I'm going to do a flashpoint I prefer tank heal and dps.

I definitely experienced 'class story' during sor. Individual ones even. And while tos is skippable that doesn't mean it isn't a part of my toons story. My toons story is what she's accomplished. Were I to make a resume for her it would definitely include the planetary quests she's finished along with major decisions. For her certain things happened on certain planets that did not for my other toons. But this thread is really about not having ALL 25 quest slots available. I don't think I HAVE a toon that has that. Even the one who completed ilum has something else. I personally would rather bioware fix other more important game breaking things. Like right now iokath has an issue with grouping. And ops chat is broken if someone joins after the operation has begun. They cannot see chat and the rest of the group cannot see their chat. I would also prefer the achievements for the New PvP match get fixed. And...actually I have like a two page list of things to fix before being able to abandon one quest.
