Hello, I'm having a recurring problem with Galactic Starfighter: every time I enter a GSF warzone, during loading or shortly after mission launch I hear a "pop" noise (more of a sound playing rather than speaker static) and immediately the game goes completely silent. No music, voices, or sound effects at all. When I Alt-Tab back to Windows, I hear the "pop" and Windows sound is ok, but returning to the game with GSF in progress the "pop" happens again and no sound plays (even with SWTOR's "Background Audio" preference turned on, GSF produces no audio while downsized). Once the battle's over and I return to the regular ground game, the "pop" happens once more while loading the planet, and then the music and all other game sound comes back normally. Ive checked all volume and sound sliders and they are normal. I've also asked a General chat on fleet if anyone else is having these problems and plenty of people said yes they also get no sound. Is this a known issue that's being looked at because I really been looking forward to this GSF for ages and cant seem to play with no sound.

I agree with you moromillas, I too want to play this game and see endgame content, BUT now there is no point. I compared Rakata Gear to Battlemaster pvp gear and found a small difference in the 2 but not much of a difference. You are right about grinding pvp for a week maybe 2 to get a full metal jacket set of Battlemaster. thats too easy to do. I think raiding now to get Rakata is a waste of time coz of this battlemaster gear stats. I also say to make the pvp gear much lower than raid Rakata gear - or - make the raid gear higher. Im also seeing everyone just standing on fleet now saying no to raiding 8 mans even 16 mans, coz they have better gear with pvp than they need for raiding. I think this game deserves alot better I just dont understand how they could miss this big issue. All thats realy left to do now is maybe lvl another alt for the storyline or quit. I dont know. But please have a look at the gear for yaselves and see Moro's issue.
