  1. You can, but i found that it was much more rewarding critting the orange gear instead of the purple, as the amount of materials involved are much higher making purple gear. The purple gear does come ready to use though, complete with armoring and mods. You just get the augment extra. I've tried to crit the Rakata combat medics belt for example, after 9 tries, (thats 72 mando iron, and 9 biometric alloys +rest) still no luck
  2. There is a big differance on purple and orange moddable gear, the differance being that when orange gear is crafted, it can "crit" adding an augmentslot to that piece of armor, making it a better moddable item then the purple counterpart.
  3. I think if you take away lockouts, and people get a way to gear up in a week, they will leave a week after that.
  4. I do not agree with you here, because i think we costumers are the same and should be treated as such. Give everyone a free month, not just some, espcially if want them to keep playing. Youre talking about engame right? to keep people subbed? I honestly think that people making and playing alts and/or taking there time will be there longer then someone playing endgame, lets be honest, there is not much end-game to begin with.
  5. Well said. I'm playing this game together with a friend when he is online, i did get the free month, but he isnt lvl 50, and he at Legacy level 4, so he didn't get it. He aslso said the same exact thing you just did, and cancelled his subscription. Sadly i think he will not be comming back though....
  6. Only those are Black-Hole comms though, the rest is just daily comms
  7. Tbh, i wouldnt mind waiting till end april or even may. IF that means that when it goes live its bug free...
  8. I think that could be it, for me the problem isn't game breaking yet. Still, there are many more that do feel that it is game breaking, and i understand where they are comming from. There are to many light servers and it's also up to BW to do something about it, if they want a steady player base. Atleast, thats what i think.
  9. Its really and i mean really lacking community. Its almost non existant. The guild im in usually makes up for 30% of the people in the fleet In other mmo's there was always someone that needed help, had questions or there was a discussion in general chat (good ones, not childish) i miss that. The pvp queue isn't that bad, altough you really get to know all opponents
  10. True, i could do that. but i won't, but won't complain either. Because you are right, it is an option, just not an option i would take. I can only hope that it won't take so long to be able to transfer. Besides, noone knows what will happen in the meantime, the population on my server is low, but it seems stable. Im in a guild doing HM Ops and pvp, so im playing the game, and having fun.
  11. Well, good for you. I actually selected that very server, and it has a good population, only little thing that cought my attention was the complaining about rerolling and the wow debats though. I must admit, i didn't level past level 12. Still doesnt make me wanna reroll. I'll keep playing like i do now (probably) and wait what future brings. Hopefully transfers and or merge's.
  12. Who's complaining? Track my post history, im not. I'm loving the game, play any time i can. I would just like to see some increase in population. (think merge?) Nice you put out "that many of us dont encounter" Im assuming here that you play on a more populated server? And again, its not a option for me to reroll. Because i choose not to, it has nothing to do with lazy. Its easy to judge someone over the internet isnt it?
  13. Read, then post. First sentance i wrote is that i agree with the population being spread to thin. Last sentance that i dont think people will reroll on low populated servers. Also i tried rerolling, so i did try. Leveling to 50 and gearing up could take 2 weeks, IF you have absolutely nothing else in your life. Luckily i do have, therefor it took me almost 2 months to level, and get HM geared. Because i can't play 24/7 due to work, familily, kids and other hobby's that dont envolve computerscreens. Its says nowhere that im expecting others to solve my problem, other then Bioware. (again, first sentance, second part) Try again.
  14. Basicly OP does have a point, population is spread to much, this needs to be adressed imo. My server has 20-40 people on fleet in prime time, making it a low populated server. Ive tried rerolling on a heavy server, and see a huge increase of population number (think 150 or more in the starter area) but i just can't start all over again, i just won't. As for people moving to low populated servers: not going to happen, probably for the same reason as me. ( And there moving to a almost dead server.) I'm waiting for 1.2 hoping for a return of some players, but if the population isnt going to rise, ill think ill rather unsub and leave then level a new toon
  15. -Nerfs are a common thing in an mmo, its needed for balance. -free weekend is to attract more players that are currently playing other games, imo the best way to get people to try the game. -pvp progression comming in 1.2 (if im not mistaken) -servers, ye ill give you that one, they need to merge some. -under a million subs, think i have read somewhere that they needed 500k to keep it going, hopfully most neysayers will be gone then. All in all, nah, not dying, just the storm is setteling, and the wow-kiddies and doomsayers are leaving, wich is a good thing imo. Now Bioware just needs to get it together and close about half the servers.
  16. I'm on Bacca's Blade, at prime time you will find 30 people in the Fleet, if your lucky. Good thing i found an incredible guild with players that stick around, and plan Ops 3 times a week. Or i would have probably quit already. Problem is that its really lacking a community, due to not enough players. I've come to a point that i just won't reroll on an other server, im lvl 50, did Ops and dailies for weeks and made a reputaion for myself as a decent healer. To start all over is not appealing, to say the least. I'm affraid that its just not an option.
  17. Funny to see how you keep ignoring people that give you constructive feedback, instead you just keep repeating yourself. Goodluck trying to convince everyone.
  18. You do realise that your repeating yourself over and over again to prove your point? I'm someone that enjoys Ops alot, i (with 7 others ofc) clear all content each week on normal and hardmode, we do normal for people that wants to enjoy an Ops and get some loot (if there lucky, that is) I also do the dailies for the implants and earpiece, and i can tell you, i 'd rather have them drop from a boss in any Ops, cause man grinding dailies is boring! I also couldnt not care less if all loot is obtainable by doing dailies, because it DOES take way more effort, but thats something you just do not want to see.
  19. This, this nerf won't stop me from playing either. I'm going to see and test before making and opinion about 1.2.
  20. I'm playing this game since early january, just made it to lvl 50 a week ago. I have loads of stuff to do, and just to little time to do it in. Friends have asked me if this game is any good, and i'd say i love it. Always followed by the next sentance: Make up your own mind about the game, just stay away from the forums... Ontopic: Im sure this game will be around for some time to come, for howlong, you ask? no idea, i'll see that when that time comes.
  21. Sending companion to do UT missions, always try to send the companion with the most affection points, as this will be the companion that has the most chance to "crit" while doing the mission and bring back purple materials. Even at 10k affection its not possible to get purple materials every time. You could try and see if the GTN has a UT trading mission for the appropiate level, those will give good results. Hope that helps
  22. When talented, using your advanced medical probe will ensure that your medical probe will cost only 1 ammo to use, you will find this necessary when maintaining a ratation while keeping your ammo at full.
  23. Its really funny reading some of the replies people make here, i mean who are we to judge if he lets his 7 year old " run around" the starter area? No child is alike, there all different, there is no way -for us- of knowing what this child can, or cannot do. Its up to the parrent to guide the child while growing. Yes i have children, and the oldest is my son who is also 7, almost 8. No, he is not playing TOR, but he does have an intrest in the game. The reason I won't let him play is because I think he is too young. But that doesnt mean if other people do let there kids play those kids are somehow going to turn out "bad". I know 2 children from his class that do play, and come over and play (with toys or the WII) at my house, or go play outside. I cant find anything wrong with them, there just kids, act the same as mine. Where i live (the netherlands) the game is rated 12 years, but as my child grows ill re-evaluate if I think he has grown enough to play MMO's, despite the 12 years or older rate. The only one who has any saying about that, is me and his mother. Not you, not the game compagny and not the goverment. The last one i cant even take seriously, common.
  24. Tanno Vik uses Aim, not strength, he does not benefit at all from strength/ Also if ure using as a tank, go for Aim, endurance and defence rating, and you will see he will able to sustain more punches.
