  1. Thank you all - it never occurred to me to just hit 'craft' multiple times., I kept looking for a counter
  2. Thank you - great advice. I thought I could go to one of the new fleet areas and see entrances to all the flashpoints - kind of like a FP hub. Does that exist? Thanks again.
  3. Thank you. This is my second time through the SW story. Last time I want almost 100% light. Maybe I should go DS just to have a different feel. Thanks for the feedback and advice.
  4. Thank you. And you make a great point on the story. I love the stories. But I have done the planet quests on the first 3 world so many times I dread doing them. So I would just use heroics to fill any gaps. Also I was just curious about how it worked. Thanks again.
  5. Thank you all - I'm enjoying ruffian a ton - thanks
  6. Are there any guides to using Flashpoints and Heroics while solo leveling? When I left SWTOR there was no 'story mode', no group finder, and no terminals on fleet for the different missions. Heroics were a pain because you hd to go to the planet and find the entrance - that has clearly changed. There are also now different colors and difficulties for some things. I am not sure what I can solo. Can I just park in fleet, use the terminals, and run heroics and flashpoints all over the galaxy? Repeat this every day? Are there dailies while leveling for FP and Heroics? Thanks for any advice.
  7. I have a question about the SW companion Jaessa Willsaam: Thanks
  8. Thanks all. I'm going to give it a try. I like the idea of learning more about why the sith despise the jedi. I've struggled to see that point of view.
  9. I've completed twp class stories - Sith Warrior/Jugg (mostly Light Side) and Inquyisitor/Sorc (mostly dark side). I think the tone and companions would be pretty different if I did the Sith Warrior again as Dark Side. Does the Inquisitor tone and story change a lot if you go Light side? I'm debating what to level next and I love double bladed light sabers
  10. This is a good thing for me. I play SWTOR when I want to relax, enjoy some story, and get immersed in the Star Wars galaxy. If I want twitch hard gameplay there are tons of options out there. In a world of difficult, competitive games I like having my paced, story driven SWTOR. Plus light-sabers.
  11. I'd like to learn more about this word - what should I read? Any wiki's, websites, or timelines that show the pre-history? For the current story I've been told to play the Sith Warrior Story and the Jedi Knight story to get a feel for the main SWTOR plot. Anything else? Thanks
  12. Good call - my Sith Juggernaut is level 70 due to boosts but story wise I am in the middle of Revan. I skipped Hutt Cartel because I just want the main story. Next is Ziost, some flashpoints in story mode, and then KoTFE. It just feels wasteful to play a character at 70 when we have double XP. So I thought I'd try and alt for the next 10 days. And the Jedi is just not working for me. Thanks for the advice though - I'll save my boosts until I see all the story on someone.
  13. Thank you. Maybe I'll use my level 60 boost on a Counselor and see how it in in KotFE.
  14. Are the Jedi Knight and Counselor more straightforward than other stories? Or should I stick with them for twists and good characters? I've finished the stories for Inquisitor and Sith Warrior and loved both stories. The British voice acting was great, the dialogue had a mix of humor and sithy powerful awesomeness, and the stories had interesting villains and companions. It felt like playing a good movie. I've taken the Counselor to the end of Chapter 1 and the Jedi Knight only to level 25 or so and they just don't feel the same. I love Kari Wahlgren as a voice actress but as the female Jedi Knight she sounds like a teenager to me. Athena Karkanis has more depth as the female Counselor but still feels a little flat. In cut scenes they just don't feel as dynamic or compelling as the Empire side. It feels like only the pure good choices even make sense so the story is kind of predictable. A Dark side choice is usually 'pay me' which make no sense. I dunno. Maybe I am overthinking. Maybe the stories get better. Maybe the Jedi Knight story is just not for me and I should focus on other classes. In short - what do you all think of the Jedi Knight story?
  15. Thanks! I'm leveling a vigilance jedi. I guess we have the same issue
  16. Thanks! I do love the veng jugg. I want to see the JK story. Maybe a familiar rotation would be fun. How did you feel about the sentinel compared to the vig guardian? How do they compare?
  17. I'd like to find a guild that has people online when I play. In past MMOs I've been able to use some version of the /who command to see how many people from a guild are online. Is there a way to do that in SWTOR? Thanks.
  18. I just got my first 70 (Juggernaut Vengeance) and I was surprised at how different it plays at 50+ then when I started. I found the rotation to be lackluster when starting out. But as abilities morphed, were replaced, and buffed I find the rotation to be 180 from what I had on Korriban. I am glad I stuck with it. I wonder if there are other classes I abandoned at level 20 because the rotation, animations, or cool factor felt off. I wonder if they too would change at 50 into awesome sauce. For example, I never got a Scoundrel about level 15 because it felt silly to slap and punch people in full body armor. What do you think? I am 100% PvE questing and just care about the fun of the class - not end game numbers. Thanks!
  19. I love the idea of the Scoundrel but the skills seem odd to me. A large percentage of them seem to involve punching, kicking, or hitting someone with a pistol. That feels really odd to me when I am fighting someone in full armor. I know it is just an aesthetic thing but it seems like he should be blasting more. Does this change as you level? Are any of the slap/kick abilities replaced by cooler, more Star Warsy abilities? Even the shotgun feels weird in a game with light sabers and blasters. Thanks for any advice. PS: I love the Operative however. They are the exact same skills but a vibro knife and point blank rifle shots feel more fun than slapping a sith with my pistol
  20. Thanks guys! I am a sub and I had mats for 10 of what I was crafting. I did not see anything except the single 'Craft Now' button in the bottom right. I'll look again.
  21. Thanks guys - amazingly helpful. Question: what is Legacy storage? Is that different from the locker on my ship? Thanks again
