  1. I won't use Shatter or Impale if Ravage comes off CD naturally, or if it only has 1 GCD left to go before it comes off CD naturally. Anything over that and Shatter/Impale are being used. Otherwise I prioritize Shatter over Impale, but I'll prioritize Force Scream over both if it's@2 stacks. I try not to "waste" stacks unless it would cause too much of a delay on reapplying bleeds. My opener is identical to Lift's. 1 more thing I was thinking of involves Rage management, as that is the biggest hurdle to applying your bleeds on CD. The biggest thing there that is such a change over pre 2.0 is to not use Sundering on CD. It builds 7 Rage, so if you happen to have 6 or 7 Rage and use Sundering, that's a waste of resources. It would be better to Saber Throw or Assault in that situation and save Sundering. BTW Saw you hit a 2900 parse Lift, grats! How in the hell do you even find the best 5 minutes out of those damn 45 minute parses you do? I only ever run 5-6 minute parses. It's a little easier for me to pick out problem spots/test new configurations and I think gives me a clear idea of just how much RNG affects our class (give me a bad run on procs and I'll only hit 2600 DPS).
  2. Ok, there are a couple of things that immediately stand out. 1st - Your APM (actions per minute) is very low. The GCD is 1.5 seconds, meaning that an expected APM using all instant abilities and not accounting for server lag would be 40 APM. Because of lag and the use of Ravage, most Juggs are going to be at 35-36 APM. You're at 30 APM. Just using your average damage per hit according to that log you're leaving 100 DPS on the table just in that. 2nd - This might tie into the 1st, but you have a pretty large delay in getting your bleeds on the target. They're still doing the right percentage of your damage, they just don't have nearly enough uptime. On average; you used Shatter every 18.17s (12s CD), Impale every 13.33s (9s CD), and Force Scream every 11.76s (9s CD). You need to be using these abilities as soon as possible. The best parses out there average using Shatter every 13.5s, and Impale and Force Scream every 10.5s - in other words they are delayed by 1 GCD maximum instead of the 4 GCD delay we're seeing in your log. 3rd - You clipped a tick of Ravage twice, and likely the final tick. This isn't a HUGE loss, but it's a loss. There's a Vengeance/Vigilance guide on the Guardian forums you might want to look over just to make sure you're doing a couple of the basic things right - like using Ravage at the correct time after it procs and what not. But provided you're doing those things already, the above issues are what is limiting your DPS. Doing some quick napkin math using average damage per ability, etc., by making those changes your DPS would have been around 2350 on that parse.
  3. The problem with the Arkanian Boundless Ages relic is that it has less persistent power than the pre 2.0 DG version. This means that over the course of a fight the pre 2.0 DG version is better. I'd have to look at the math, but the Partisan power proc relic is likely neck and neck with the Arkanian BA relic. Now, for further clarification regarding damage proc vs. BA relic at the Underworld level. The math currently has the BA relic providing roughly 54 DPS. The damage proc relic is THEORETICALLY higher, providing it procs consistently enough. However, I have yet to be able to make it proc consistently enough in my tests. At worst, it parses around 7 DPS lower, and my best so far has it roughly equal. I'm trying to get BioWare to let me trade it so I can test a different proc type and the BA (I augmented the relic before testing, stupid). So right now, the worst I've seen from the damage proc is mathematically 7 DPS lower than the BA relic. It has a higher potential though, around 15-20 DPS higher than the BA relic. Make your choice based on that.
  4. It'll be Underworld SA and Underworld damage proc actually as far as constant DPS is concerned. Of course the BA relic always deserves consideration since it can provide controlled burst. I've only run 1 parse since getting the damage proc and it did roughly 47 DPS, but I had a low proc rate, only averaging 1 proc per 7s or so. With a proc rate closer to the expected uptime, the relic would provide over 60 DPS. The Underworld SA relic should, mathematically, provide around 70 DPS. I have no idea why anyone would ever suggest the old War Hero, or even Elite War Hero relics. They weren't even BiS pre 2.0 NOTE - If you have the pre 2.0 Dread Guard relics, do NOT buy Arkanian relics. They're actually a DPS loss.
  5. For those of you without the Guardian 2 pc. bonus it still makes some sense to run out, Saber Throw, and Leap back in. The only time I consider using Slash is if I'm literally at 12 Focus and the only other options are Focus builders (Sundering, Strike, Force Sweep, Dispatch, Saber Throw). Force Push is awesome for those "filler" moments, when you have a GCD or so before something good comes off CD. In the parsing I've done it hasn't made much difference whether or not I prioritize PB over OS or vice versa. In general, if you look at most of the Guardian/Juggernaut parses out there; PB, OS, and BS all end up delayed by 1 GCD on average. As long as you don't delay any of them by more than 1 GCD average you'll be fine. Doing this, plus the things already discussed, you should definitely pull off 2500+ DPS as soon as you're geared to do so (mostly 69 gear should do the trick). In order to get the HUGE parses though, you're gonna need RNG luck on MS resets. The bigger parses all have at LEAST 20% of the total damage coming from MS.
  6. PVE or PVP? Most of these suggestions seem PVP oriented. The only thing I'd agree with is some sort of passive movement speed increase. Damage wise Vengeance got everything it needed in 2.0. There aren't any classes currently parsing more than 5% above my best parse, with the exception of engineering snipers and their new cover roll "feature".
  7. Ark'smash'em - Juggernaut - Vengeance 4/36/6 - 2865.66 http://www.torparse.com/a/218303/2/0/Overview
  8. Good luck then. You'll need 300-350 crit rating to hit that. HUGE power sacrifice for those returns.
  9. I wish it were still worth it to me to play my Marauder, but micro managing all the aspects of Carnage plus dealing with the tight timing windows just don't make it as enjoyable to me. Of course, hitting a 2865 parse on my Juggernaut also helped make the decision easier to handle.
  10. Yeah my guild doesn't necessarily either, we tend to have more RDPS than MDPS though, and when we did the last tier of serious content (HM TfB@50 and NiM EC 16m) we had all of 2 MDPS, 3 max. Yeah, just look up Ark'smash'em on torparse, you'll see plenty of them.
  11. Ehh... not quite. Crit from Strength has a barely noticeable DR curve, it's just the returns per point were lowered across the board. It's still very debatable whether the tiny amount of crit % per point of Strength outweighs the tiny amount of bonus damage per point of Power.
  12. If you haven't tried this, might I suggest opening with: Charge - (BT) - BA (Frenzy + Berserk) - Gore - Massacre x3 - X (being either FS, VT, or Massacre depending on procs) You are damn near guaranteed a Savagery proc with that opener and can flow directly into: Gore - Ravage - X (FS or VT) By that point BA is almost off CD so toss in a DST and then fill that Rage bar. It's 10s worth of 4k+ DPS
  13. The question becomes whether or not having RDPS on add duty is better for your raid than having you do it? There's no real way to tell. I'd compare current parses but oddly enough, it isn't working like I'd thought. Loufucai (Rage Jugg) and I (Ark'smash'em) trade #1 and #2 on 16m HM S&V. But on Titan 6 he does add duty, but doesn't on Thrasher, etc. So I did more ST dmg to Titan 6 but he has overall lead, on Thrasher he does more ST dmg and I lead overall. Currently, as stated, they both perform just fine in AoE or ST situations. Loufucai at 1 point had a dummy parse 100 DPS higher than mine, but now I have 1 like 150 DPS above his. In AoE trash pulls I do between 3k-5k DPS, and could do huge numbers if I was on add duty in a boss fight. Let's be honest though, the fights where Rage would clearly pull ahead are number padding sorts of fights where adds happen to spawn close to the actual boss. In those situations I would ST the boss still while Rage's primary damage dealer will hit everything (i.e. Dash'roode).
  14. People sleep on Vengeance's ridiculous AoE capabilities. Free Smash followed by Sweeping Slash spam is no joke. If you're just concerned about add duty, it's something to consider.
  15. 2865 DPS I'm mostly 72s now. Verpine Implants instead of UW so 44 power short there, DG relics w/22 augs still, and legs are 69, 2 other 69 enhancements. Stats (w/stim) 3215 Strength 1333 Power 52 Crit Rating (20.45%) 368 Accuracy (99.17%) 395 Surge (71.08%) Used 2 adrenals, and had a pretty damn high Ravage proc rate.

  17. From what I can gather: Frappe experte = Master Strike Fer plasmique = Plasma Brand Fente aerienne = Overhead Slash Tempete de lame = Blade Storm
  18. These are essentially identical numbers to what I get if I cut off the residual bleeds/time to exit combat from my best parse (I really need to start using /stuck lol). I certainly don't think I'll see an increase to 3k either. 2678 when I clip to my last activated ability damage
  19. You simply won't be able to do this@55. The stat budget just isn't there. As to the crit argument, it really boils down to small percentages honestly. I looked at Uriaces log. It's 4m 28s with the 1st 5 seconds of combat cut off. If I do the same for my parse I get this 2724 DPS. So we're looking@a 1% difference that could be due to a gear difference (66 hilt vs. 72, otherwise we seem pretty close in gear level). From that SS it looks like he has about 1110-1115 power stimmed and I'd guess 200ish crit rating. I've got 1365 power stimmed and 0 crit rating. The most interesting thing for me, is that his accuracy is only@98.14% and it didn't affect much. He missed 12% of his Strikes and 5% of his Sundering Strikes. He actually has 3.5% more surge than I do. tl;dr I expect that given equal gear levels and skill we're going to find that 0-200 crit rating perform almost identically. The top Vigilance/Vengeance parses we have right now show a 1% difference in DPS and that can be attributed to gear.
  20. Highest dummy parse for Juggernaut/Guardians is a Rage spec also. 2nd highest for Juggs is me. Not sure what his gear is though, he might be part of an 8m guild and already full 72s.
  21. I open with (and this will be Juggernaut terminology, sorry): Saber Throw -> Force Charge -> Ravage -> Impale -> _____ If there isn't a Rampage proc I pop Enrage and then go to Shatter -> Force Scream, if there is 1 I go Shatter -> Enrage -> Force Scream. From there really my priority list is similar to what the OP suggests. There isn't as much of an emphasis regarding prioritizing PB over OS, or where BS should go, etc. Basically I just try to get my burns up before using MS if possible, and I use BS when I have 2 stacks and try to avoid using an ability that will grant a stack. If the ICD on abilities don't allow that then I'll use MS or BS and allow some downtime on burns. I think the constant you'll notice is that leading damage dealers are (in order): Burns/MS (they swap #1/#2 depending on parse) OS BS Dispatch/PB (they'll both be very close) I need to run a parse just prioritizing MS over everything and see how that goes.
  22. My best 5 minutes from my earlier parse is 2681 DPS and I'm running 0 crit rating. I doubt I'd go any higher then 150 crit personally.
  23. Don't upgrade to Arkanian relics unless you have absolutely nothing else to spend basic comms on. Something people are neglecting to look at is the loss in persistent power which makes something like the Arkanian Boundless Ages relic worse than the Dread Guard BA relic.
