In thirty years people with fond memories of star wars, as in not the people who saw episodes 1-3 first, will either be too old to 'get' the hypothetical new films or they will have succumbed to heart/kidney failure due to obesity/adult on-set diabetes.

I'm pretty sure roughly the same number of accounts are still active. There obviously aren't going to be as many people playing it at the same time now given that it's no longer the holiday season and people are working, going to school and possibly spending their free time outside of their home.

I have the same problem as rage spec and Corellia isn't any easier. Since I've never used Quinn and I refuse to get him new equipment, I find the nearest pillar and run around it while taunting so that Vette can kill the elites. If an elite tries to use an AoE just use your interrupt. It doesn't take very long and I never die! If that isn't an option try interrupting and bringing medpacks/stims. Or even just going immortal and using Quinn but I get by without doing either so it isn't necessary.

This is funny actually because I used 'if'. It was just short explanation of how popular opinion can and will influence and limit player behavior. Like rights in the sense of a society, they are subject to the whims of the public. I claim no knowledge of what the majority believes but I would earnestly like to believe they are not this dumb! No one has explained why I am wrong though. I am just told I am wrong and directed to the 'correct' conclusion. Bioware has to cede to popular demand to maintain subscribers. If people needing for companions becomes an exceptionally large problem then they will of course limit your 'rights'. lol I should have known that the reason this thread is so long is because of 'logical' people attempting to frame their selfish behavior as completely rational and untainted by the impurity of emotion because they cherry-pick some 'logic facts'. Which is why a companion roll is necessary, you can't be trusted to use the 'need' option like everyone else uses it. You've only got the rights that other people allow you to have. There is nothing natural about the concept of 'rights', they're defined by society through popular opinion! If other people have a problem with one of your self-defined 'rights' then don't expect to have it for very long. I'm afraid that this is probably one of them.
