  3. I'm done with you. Thanks you too, but i disagree with you. I'm not here to complain as a strike pilot. But as a pilot who as almost try every ships even the one i complain about. Of course not all of them are fully mastered or upgraded and i'm far to be the best. My point is some component are too powerfull and do not work as intended (BLC, ion rail ect...), A lot of people complain because of their lack of knowledge, this thread is made of that. But i got this knowlegde, my duty is to expose the real problems. Why so many GS ? Cause the "skill cap" is very low to master it, stack enough of them with one or two bombers and you got a real fortress. Why GS so efficient ? Ion is far too powerfull making the t1 gs perfect the others gs, Slug damage & shields pen is too much. To compare i feel the plasma is really balanced.
  4. Still my opinion but for me the definition of fun is not win or either 2 shoting someone and by definition the frustration of my oponent, the funniest match i've done are defeat. Close long and epic dogfight middle map. i might sound like a mad kid because of my non-native engish, but when i hear "Shut the fu ck up play meta" by all the gsf community.... I just wish you say something like "shut up and play sorc" on the pvp forum or any other games, you gonna be flamme for years. The gsf community really surprise me by hes hypocrisy sometime. in france we have a proverb "In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king".
  5. I will stay polite because you make me laugh. If your vision of GSF is everyone 2 shots everyone then ok you all right i'm all wrong. But i will still be there with the worst ship/classes, harassing try hard, showing how bad they are, how carried by their classes/ships they are, trolling them all day long. Because this is what a try hard deserve, i'm ****in robin hood.

  7. I mainly fly t2 strike, except the t1 GS, t2 scouts or an excellent T3 Bombers/T3 GS i got no problem. Of course strikes are not fine from the point of view of the current N°1 of the meta. Mine is if strikes can't compete with the current meta ships, that's not because of the strikes state, but the op component... (DF missiles breaks, BLC, Ion rail...) But again not the subject. I have never seen a sorc do 30-0 or 2 shot my sniper. Flashfires/Quarrel do it everyday.

  10. God... strikes are fine, or not far to be, they got rekt by GS & t2 scout wich is 75% of the current meta but this is not the subject.
  11. Common guy's you can't say GS are fine. Try to fly a T1 strikes on a deathmatch on TRE where the average of GS is between 6-8 on a 8v8 encounter. The max evasion you can get with this ship is 10%, 25% with interferences. Hull is around 1400, a single hit from slug is around 1600. And here come the argument "Without GS, bombers will proliferate". Those who suffer the most of GS are strikes, a ship designed to fight in the "open". Let's now talk about the ion rail of the T1 1800 damage on shield, 50 weapons energy brun, 50 engine power burn, -55 % speed or - 55% regen rate for shield/weapons/engine energy. This is sick, your shield is broken meaning you gonna die in the next 3 seconds if you don't do something. But you can't shoot anymore, you can't flee either, the only thing you can do is use your dcd who gonna get globaled by the next slug anyway ... lockin a missiles (remenber step 1 no shield facetaking...) or try to los without engine power + the eventual speed reduction ... The T1 GS just perfect the others GS because of this.
  12. I've tryed a few matchs with the feedback on my jurgoran, feel like i lost a lot of defence with the loss of DF but a 100% free hit against a FF that's worth it. Here my build I already try them, but even with the 2 turn speed upgrade on my Sledgehammer i feel the turn rate is awfull. The most common build of Flashfires BLC + Pods/cluster + TT + DF + retro Actually the most effective strategy i've found is to... flee. I mainly fly T2 Strikes T1 scout and a weird CQC T3 GS build (you got the build upside). edit : not flying t2 scouts but t1
  13. Eh, that's me, feed me more plz you flashfire try hard. I should specify this is a decent flashfire, he got more than 50IQ so he don't rush the mines and... honestly i don't like flying bombers expect the sledgehammer. The Cqc jurgoran does'nt work, this is my main ship, flashfires got more evasion, more damage more turning and more speed. But this is the ship where i can at least force them to defensive and i haven't try feedback with it, i will !
  14. TLDR : Yeah you right GS are completly fine. A match with more than 4 GS is soooooooooo enjoyable, especially the T1 ION is perfectly balance.
  15. Except the skin and the crew companions, no and i strictly don't care about it. If a cross faction can improve the q pop and the matchmaking let's go without any hesitation.
  16. Cause BLC 2 shots, it can hit even if you shot 10 meters away of your target.
  17. In all TDM matchs you can choose different spawn points, it can let you & your teammate to reorganize and establish solid defences... No i'm joking you gonna get rekt over and over until 50 frags was reach, enjoy. Welcome to GSF ! My personnal tips is to suicide yourself to make it faster.
  18. This thread is... retarded, we want more ships, not less. You can buff all missiles by 500%, won't change the problem, you can't land them on a target with DF missiles breaks+ engine break. I'm 100% agreed to buff crap component. Don't think i want flashfire/mangler nerfed to the ground as like suggest you're last sentence Imo BLC & slug deserve a 30% damage nerf, T5 ion replaced by something else & engine & weapon power burning 50 %nerf, DF T3 missile break remplaced. Maybe more maybe less, don't forget those changes will also apply to others ships.
  19. Who talk about deleting content ? Not me. I just wish to see more variety of ships, of viable components, of gameplays. Not a predominant meta full of the sames ships, of the same components, of the same gameplays, flyed by the same try-hard carried by the same ships, of the same insta-death for the non viable ships. Of course a game like that will never be completly balanced but atleast the aberration need to be tunned down for the mental health of people who force themselve to try something else. Sorcs and powertechs are op ? Nerf them, no need to remove them or to buff all the others classes...
  20. The one with no flashfire/mangler spam, strikes are fine. For sure if you just play those ships strikes are a joke and...i know you do like a lot of "ace". Don't believe me ? Then come facetank my pike with a bomber or any ship who don't have 2 missiles breaks. Strikes have enough range to clean drone/mines/turret, strikes have a large choice of missiles, bombers does'nt have missiles break except sledgehammer. BLC & Ion +slug are not "good thing" like you said, those are the most frustating 2 shot component and they do deserve a nerf.
  21. Strikes are fine, just nerf BLC, DF missile break & Slug + Ion canon.
