  1. Most "vets" group up to get a q pop, i would be happy to group up with more "noobs" instead of grouping with other "vets" making imbalance. But sorry i can't wait 30 minutes to get a q pop, no can do.
  2. Don't forget to mention the distortion field missile break the T3 can afford, another thing who make the power dive strength cooldown not so usefull.

The T3 GS is in a very good shape, this is my favorite one, unfortunatly once you get ionned by a T1 GS your dead (like the T2 btw) even with distortion field the T1 got it too plus the passive evasion, and finally the most common build component on it are very similar to T2 scout but with half the speed, turn rate, evasion, blc damage (TT), fire rate, accuracy ect... making you in a very bad position against a competent t2 scout. And you don't have the barrel roll wich is by far the best defensive choice a GS can wish. I feel the biggest difference between the T1 & T2 scouts is (ofc blc) the t1 need a static target while the T2 can easily chase anything, making the T1 quasi irrelevant at dogfighting but an excellent noob GS cleaner.
  4. My turn... Tier 1 ships T1 GS T2 Scouts Cause they have both offensively and defensively the best component, they 2 shots anything and can survive easily. Except a very few isolated case both can compete in every situation. Tier 2 ships All the others Cause they have more or less balanced components, diverse deficiency at various levels. Every can compete situationally but not against tier 1 ships anyway. If you mainly fly tier 1 ships : Please stop argue, play something else than tier 1 ships against tier 1 ships "ace" for a week and then come back. It will give you a clear point of view but may cause intense frustration.
  5. I'm agreed but the scout global gs, gs global bombers, bombers global scouts, strikes global turrets discturb me. I should have quote only this. First this is not true cause only one (maybe 2) of each categories can compete. Second i don't feel a perfect balance between those ships.   6. Fact is... things on TRE are quiet when there is an event on US. For real, this is ten time more enjoying and fairplay to don't see some face. When was the next one ?

Lowering the turn rate or defences will not help in my opinion (especially the T2 gs), reducing a bit the damage and/or the shield piercing of slug plus reducing the energy burn of ion will be more appropriate to reduce the offensive efficiency of GS. I'm agree with this, gs death would be lower but still in top in think, i feel dying a lot by them even on my scouts. But unfortunatly i have not made specific stats for each ships. All the ships listed are more or less design/played to dogfight except the T1 scouts i use to hit & run. The playstyle is a huge factor, second below the meta imo. Rock paper scissors mind will not help balancing things.
  8. There is 2 ways to knows what shot kill you. As you can see nothing tell me here this particular shot did kill me. but i know it did, i will explain below. Or like i do, keep your log clean, create a new one between each matchs and mark the last line each time you've been killed. Notepad++ can do that really fast then compile your data. I've personally just made a script to automate the process of compiling what have been mark. I think numeric codes are hex, not sure but seems like. Might be the id of component, upgrade, the name of the opponent ect.. edit : SWCNT have explain it very well

I haven't made statistics for damage, someone ask me for that i just tell him the biggest number i've remenber 4800, 4803,56, 5k who care result are the same. the day i will make damage statistics i will be accurate and reread myself before posting. I do not need to argue about current meta, numbers are fact, of course those numbers can vary due to different factor and there is a lot, but i'm pretty sure top 2-3 will remain the same whatever things are. Blc & slugs are common weapons, i'm ok with that but (i think) they are too effective but this is just my point of view. Unfortunately this kind of statistics can't show the aberation of Ion railgun is or the "accuracy" of blc (point of view again) for exemple, so plz do not take literally this. Missiles death are uncommon except cluster one, with what i've recorded ; a few concussions missiles, 3-4 protons torpedoes, you can maybe ad 1 or 2 intentional suicide but that's it. fact is i do not fly bombers expect the decimus/sledgehammer making missiles nearly irrelevant. I think this raise a problem, missiles are too hard to land AND too easy to avoid (point of view), but again if i was a pure noob i will die from it a lot (factor vary). And plz i'm not a good pilot, fact is i don't care i just wish to have fun.

  15. if i remember well, i was queing a few games with starcat & equinox pub side, just to get a few upgrades. it was stomp over stomp, 3 sat 5 minutes last.. Tired of getting ion spam facing only gs or suicidal 2 ships i decide to switch side, and i think i was the only one. 10 minutes later grouping with immem and yzeria q pop, same ****, stomp over stomp, facing only t2 scout & suicidal 2 ships, 50 - 10 5 minutes last. No challenge, no fairplay, no fun, disconnected.

  17. Hi people. I have since a few weeks started to record my logs of all the gsf match i've played, using very basic scripting knowledge to automate the process of analysing logs. With a total of 251 games played, 1178 death, here's the top 10 result of "Killed by component". 1 - Slug railgun - 347 2 - Burst laser canon - 267 3 - Clusters missiles - 98 4 - Concussions mines - 58 5 - Rockets pods - 51 6 - Collision (Suicide) - 47 7 - Sismics mines - 39 8 - Heavy laser canon - 26 9 - Laser canon - 23 10 - Railgun sentry drone - 17 Please note around 1/3 of the suicide are made intentionally, generally because chased by a t2 scout. All those record have been made flying those ships with the number of match played with (Please note there is more than 251 match played due to the in-game ship switch) : 1 - S - 12 Blackbolt / NovaDive - 81 2 - F - T6 Rycer / FT - 8 Star Guard - 64 3 - F - T2 Quell / FT - 6 Pike - 48 4 - B - 5 Decimus / Sledgehammer - 43 5 - GSS - 4Y Jurgoran / SGS - S1 Condor - 29 (Not played as a gs, double missiles build) 6 - GSS - 5C Dustmaker / SGS - 41B Comet Breaker - 9 (Not played as a gs, double missiles build) 7 - S - 13 Sting / Flashfire - 6 Honestly i expected to see Slug & BLC in the top but not with so huge numbers, all those statistics have been recorded on The Red Eclipse (EU), Both faction. Apologize me for bad english/translation.
  18. They do whatever they want, i'm sure this is not bad intention. For exemple i'm often switching side tryin to balance... but finally it end up worth cause matchmakin is buls hit. They do try to balance but, they still do not understand they are the problem itself ; premade of 3-4 decent people playing T1 GS T2 scouts, used to play & stick together. Result ; 50-0.

  21. Don't waste your time tryin explain GS/T2 scouts are op to people who only fly those and believe bombers are the problem.

Dunno for the clarion but i've spotted some bugs one the Decimus/sledgehammer. 1 / Seem's like the range capacitor do not work at all on it. 2 / At each long disconnection, the T4/T5 upgrade of my primary weapon (HLC) get reset on my slegehammer (not the decimus however), have to re set up it everyday.
  23. Mega server merge is a good thing. Asked for years now since dev's do not want to invest time and money into Cross-server. All we need is q pop as a pvp player, whatever your point of view. I've myselff migrated 3 times in 6 months just to have more play time instead of slack time. But again, the priority for me is a balance patch pvp & gsf wise. That's what will brings people into it, but this is an another subject. @Eudoxia : Do not try to argue with "ace" you piece of strike. Dunno how it is on US but there is still people who can (try to) compete without meta even on the biggest server.
