  1. Currently running 693 crit rating. Here's a screen shot of my stats for you http://gyazo.com/d2cb9c0a3faa8f2420e8a974bfbd08fe
  2. Our guide never says to use STB on serrated shot. And is this for dummy parsing or boss fights, if you can provide a log of some sort, I can take a look at it.
  3. Really good ops, by far the most challenging and exciting set of operations so far in the game. Both instances are fun, and the last bosses are no joke. Doesn't stop us though
  4. Used with full auto/unload. The arrows in the guide are indicating separate gcds, so unload with tso, then td in heat ramping.
  5. Currently running 693 crit, 480 sur, 0 alac. 1 acc aug to fit the sur enh and stay at 100% acc, then all aim augs. Mercs have a poop ton of surge talents. At 198, switching a sur enh for an alac enh is trading about 3% sur for 1.5% alac, so not worth it imo.
  6. If I remember correctly, the only pieces that I had that were not bis 198 was 2 186 acc/pow enh, 2 unoptimized 198 mods, and 1 192 relic. Also, with bis, or what I think is bis, I have 693 crit rating.
  7. I've already stated I knew about that rotation, it pulled less dps then what I'm currently using right now, here and on pts. And if you want to bring pts into play, I didn't say anything about it because of NDA, but me and mari were pulling about 300 more dps on average with 3 more apm, and all of us had the same gear.
  8. With that opener, yes that rotation would work, with my opener no, that wouldnt work tho. So sorry for any confusion or misunderstanding, thought you were referring to my opener. And I've known about this rotation, but we felt that putting more emphasis on having both dots up at the same time is much more beneficial. Also, I'll say the same to you as I said to zoltan, post a parse.
  9. and to zoltan, the rotation puts more emphasis on having both dots up at the same time, which we feel puts priority over td usage. And if you want me to be as specific as I can with the usage of td and mb, during regular and execute phase, watch the video. The usage of td and mb is fit into fillers where it would not push us over 40 heat, so td would only be used if we had 15 or less heat and mb if we had 20 or less heat. Finally, if your pushing for your rotation to be valid, please post a parse to validate your claim
  10. Because using unload to proc ipa will make stb alternate between usage for ss and ps, the rotation in the guide makes it so that the usage of stb remains consistent, and also, a rotation that revolves around pushing the max dps WILL be resource restrictive, if it wasn't i'd be pulling less dps
  11. Have you actually watched the rotation video? If you did, you would see that td is used off cd whenever vent heat is up, or if its heat ramping. There is only one place for a PS filler, as the 2 other ones are used to proc IPA, and the filler PS is only used when its either heat ramping, or if we have room to spare to fit that ps and a td into the rotation, otherwise we have forego the 3rd ps, replace it with a rapid shot, and fit in td. Also, this entire spec is heat restrictive with whatever rotation you try to use, so I don't see that as a valid point of argument. In regards to the execute phase, if you actually read the guide or watched the video, you would see that mb and td are being fit in wherever possible. Additionally, doing so will not allow the usage of FM, either you would have to delay IPA by one gcd doing so, or replace mb or td to fit it in.
  12. and holy **** that math simulator 2014 is pretty cool
  13. Using TD on cd would result in overheating. In the general rotation, the power shot that uses stb and the power shot right after ss, are used to proc ipa. Generally, the power shot or rapid shot used after the hard casted power shot to proc ipa, is dependent on your resources. If you can get supercharged and still have heat to fit in td after unload, you can generally do ps>ps>ms>ul>td. However, if the 2nd power shot would put you over 40 heat when you used td, you would replace it with rapid shot instead. The rotation attempts to fit in td when heat permits it, and td will also be off cd by the time you would use it again, once again if heat permits it.
  14. To a certain extent, I chose the lesser of two evils. In a raid scenario, you can open with priming shot if the fight starts right away and fill in the concurrent gcd with a rail shot with 2 stacks, or another tm. The rotation listed emphasizes a parse scenario, hence the precast. Also, they did change fusion missile in 3.0, it costs 20 heat in arsenal and 15 heat in io, but its damage is completely a waste of a gcd on a single target. You can compare the tooltips between tracer and fusion missile in arsenal for example, fusion missile cost 5 more heat than tracer and does less damage.
  15. The reasoning for the opener is, if I delay the usage of hsm in place of priming shot, then the 2nd hsm will be delayed before proccing bb. If priming shot had the same cd as hsm or rail shot, then I would switch them around. Also, fusion missile is pretty much poop for single target dps, tso is better used for channeling with blazing bolts to vent heat over 2 gcds, and power surge I save for any "oopsies" in the rotation and I need the start of the next gcd to proc bb, then I use power surge + tm.
