  1. Hi!

I am working my dailies to get the Rakata Relics and was wondering what people thoughts were on them......two endurance relics, two endurance/power relics, or one of each. What do you all think?

Also, as i start accumulating armor with augment slots, i was wondering what people were putting in them. Endurance/cunning seems the most obvious, but more power can mean a bigger bang for the buck, so i was inclined to go for a mixture of endurance/cunning and endurance/power. Thoughts?

    I am PvE, btw....no PvP.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. I am trying to figure out where to capitalize on the legacy rewards....where do i find the vendor? I saw one on Coruscant, but he seemed to offer just gear. Did I miss something?

I was curious about where we get ship upgrades, etc., with our legacy levels?

I guess I wanted to know where the legacy vendors are located and do different vendors sell different stuff?

    Thanks!

  3. 0/13/28 was THE build for dps until 1.2

I have been running 3/7/31, but I have to be honest....I am not sure that Sever Force, the final spell out of the Balance tree, is very good and worth the extra points it takes to get it. I mean...as the ultimate spell....shouldn't the damage output be a LOT higher? I am leaning towards a 0/13/28 build now for the chance to tick a faster TK Throw.

    Thoughts?

  4. I would rank it a 9.

This is my third toon, and Ive found the smuggler storyline the best of all. As others have mentioned, the sardonic wit and comments made by this class during the storyline quest arc have literally made me laugh out loud.

  5. I think what you are saying is you can't get the initial quest to start the series. B/C when you do, its very, very obvious from there.

I had this problem (and I have done it twice before----I just forgot how!!!!!).

To get the Belsavis Bonus series, you need to get a quest called "Quarantine Failure". It is not obvious to get, meaning there is no obvious triangle that is distinguishable from any other triangle. You pick it up from a terminal on the fleet. The Belsavis bonus series *STARTS* at a mission terminal on the Republic Fleet, inner ring, north end (X -4718, Y -4757, Z 710). Agent Moritt is SECOND in the chain.

  6. I have started locating my "grid/target" a few meters in FRONT of the mob, so that they run into it when it goes off. It's not perfect (perhaps the flash grenade is more effective), but it does work.

I would still like some kind of confirmation whether this was intentional or a bug. Any updates on that question?

  7. Thanks....all your responses help, and confirm what i intend to do as i collect the sets. Oh, and I was aware of the slot specific criteria.

Honestly, for differing reasons, I can live with a lot of the gear (e.g., I can hide the head gear, so......idc what it looks like. And boots get hidden behind leg-slot robes, etc.). Mostly the chest pieces are horrific looking.

    I appreciate the feedback.

  8. I am new to ops and raiding (and I am a DPS-specced sage----no heals!), so this must be taken with a grain of salt. But I also stare at my toon for hours at a time, and I cannot stomach a lot of the armor i see.

As I understand it, we can now rip mods out of all armor (even the high end stuff) and put them into light armor for our sages. I was also told that this means we lose the "set bonuses", which makes sense to me (although it is a bit disappointing).

I have a couple Columni pieces, and the stat bonuses I see down the line as I collect more pieces do not impress me as being....OMG I H-A-V-E to have that set bonus!!!

Do those of you who DPS in raids on a regular basis find the set bonuses that important? Or can i go ahead and rip out the mods and put them into some good looking armor for my toon, perserving, at the minimum, the nice stats that come with the mods.

NOTE TO BIOWARE: Please provide us a customized appearance slot for armour so we can create our own individual appearance while we equip for stat purposes the hideous looking armor you have gifted us with.

  9. I had to respec today for HM Vault \cause we had enough healers and our new players were a bit underequipped. I respeced to this: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600hZf00MZcMfRsMkrfz.1 and played EV and then did Warzones. We did't have any trouble with DPS, I never ran out of health nor force (walked away with 100% health and force after my duel of fates, and I still wore my Force Mystic). On WZs, I had sick amount of fun ganking sentinels/marauders and bathed in medals. IMO, Full Balance is pretty handy build to live in. Instant Lift and Sever Force are fine subtitution to Wake and Collapse in PvP, and DPS is good for PvE. So for PvErs it works well as you don't need o respec if you want to go for WZ one evening.

I re-specced to this yesterday (before I saw your post), and I have been happy with the DPS (although not as happy as i was at 0/17/28 pre-1.2). However, I opted to force regen versus armor buff.

    Time will tell, I suppose...

  10. The easiest way to go from 0/13/28 is to 1/12/28. However, I think 3/7/31 or 0/10/31 offer you a bit more bang for your buck post 1.2. 1/12/28 is a bit boring minus TK Wave.

I miss my TK instant-wave SOOO much!

I am leaning towards trying the 3/7/31 build. Anyone else have any thoughts? Again--this is for PvE (NOT, I repeat, NOT for PvP) DPS POST 1.2!

    Thanks so much!

  11. I soloed to level 50 on a Sentinel, then a Sage (dps-specced) and most recently: Gunslinger. I enjoyed ALL of them immensely!

I suspect you can solo any of the classes just fine, if you learn how to play your class, are well geared, and use (and gear) your companion wisely.

For what it's worth, I found the Smuggler storyline particularly funny. Smuggler dialogue lines are some of the best Ive seen. Laugh-out-loud funny!

  12. Just to point this out, in case you hadn't noticed, the sniper rifle Risha comes with is a fully moddable. Its an 'orange' gun even though its border is green.

I did in fact see this. Honestly, I wasn't sure the damage stats would be the same as with an orange modable. Does anyone have a firm answer on this?

  13. Does anyone know where I can buy an orange modable sniper rifle for my companion (Risha)? I cant seem to locate one on the global network. Are there any vendors that sell them for credits? In the alternative....where can I find one for commendations?

    thanks!!!!!

  14. How many and what skills do Gunslingers have to interrupt mob spell-casting, skills, etc.?

I am aware of the one we get early on (I forget its name, atm). Does the "kick" skill (which says it stuns) also interrupt?

Do we just have one interrupt? That would kind of suck.

    Thanks in advance!
