  1. Speaking of Mass Effect; best game I have played in a long while.
  2. Yeah and strafing is also worthless while browsing your bank, what's your point? It has lots of beneficial uses, but is obviously not going to be applicable in every scenario...
  3. But I can and have given you many benefits. Casting while moving is much more flexible with keybinds. By using keybinds, you should never have to take your eyes off this battle whereas if you click, even if you are good at it, you have to look to get your bearings and a general picture of where your pointer is. Keybinds provide faster activation of abilities due to the fact that your mouse does not have to travel from ability to ability. Not all spells share a global cooldown, and some are crucial for effective play and vary depending on class. For healers in particular, it's a major setback having to click from person to spell over and over while healing multiple targets. Quickness and timing are two of the most important factors for healing, and clickers cannot match that of keybinders for that under any circumstance. For abilities that need to be activated very quickly and unexpectedly, (remove cc ability, any lifesaver abilities a class may have, health pots, cc reducing spells) you lose precious time moving the cursor and clicking in that time of crisis or whatnot. Keybinding could save yours or someone else's life in this aspect. These are all very solid benefits of keybinding that cannot be matched with clicking. I'm not saying a good clicker can't reduce the setbacks of not binding, but an equally skilled binder will almost always be quicker to the gun than the clicker. A sprinter may be super fast at what he does, but just simply can't beat a car in a race.
  4. You make decent points, but the main reason we say movement is more efficient and easier with the mouse turning is for scenarios in which you need to strafe run, turn at times, and cast. Yes you can strafe and cast if you are a clicker, but strafe, cast and turn becomes awkward and difficult.
  5. You're the only clicker on this thread with reasoning and understanding. I bet you are a pretty decent player despite the fact you click, but have you ever thought of the grand world of potential growth you could make if you switched to keybinds? Who knows, you may go from good as a clicker, to ****** pro as a keybinder.
  6. Oh your statement that "strafing is useless" isn't theory? I'm assuming that you have it backed up by facts and examples that prove that you never ever have to strafe and it's "useless"...
  7. Well "LOS or any of that" are all essential strategies and tactics to play at high skill level. Ignoring that disregards your whole argument.
  8. So when you move your mouse to click on spells, you don't look at the spell bar? lol Try closing your eyes and clicking the right spells and you'll see you have to look thus dragging your eyes away. Even if it is only for a second, it's a second you would have saved keybinding.
  9. And if you're a melee? Or if you want to Los? Or if you are travelling with or with someone to an objective in pvp? Or if you want to move out of an aoe? Ok, that is enough examples to completely debunk your theory.
  10. Again, you really are oblivious to the point. I'm not saying a clicker can't be precise and click relatively quickly, but while they are clicking they lose awareness of the map, it makes moving while casting much more difficult, and in comparison, every second it takes dragging your mouse to click abilities an entire fight could be saved by binding. When there is an alternative to something, and the first way has no unique exclusive benefits, wouldn't anyone with half a brain choose the latter method?
  11. Keybinding is using a keyboard in most cases. If that is uncomfortable for someone, why are they playing a pc game with a keyboard?
  12. Not at all, but often times when people do burn in the fire, it's due to a spellcasting change that can be made so easily, which is frustrating.
  13. Again, missing the point. Aiming and moving a mouse in an fps is entriely different than an mmo. In an fps your mouse is being dragged into the exact environmental sight you need, while on an mmo, by clicking, your eyes drift away from the area and could lead to failures more often than a binder. Also, you wasted energy typing that entire post... You proposed an argument that was solely based on click speeds... lol. You know this game has global cooldowns right?
  14. Hey, if they want to wipe raids and lose warzones for people, go right ahead. I can't change the world, only inform it.
  15. That's why "verified" was included. As far as I'm concerned, only one example of a true high ranked pvp clicker was given, did you see others?
  16. I am not telling them how to play, I am arguing the original point that keybinding is much better than clicking.
  17. Everyone is more comfortable clicking a mouse when they have never keybound before. Adapt, practice it for a day or two, and that will change.
  18. Whether it's manageable or not, most people that click and heal are very ineffective. Also, even though your raid frames and spell are close, they still cannot be cast as quickly as a bind. Also, come on, healing pally was flash spam 90% of the time lol.
  19. So a verified 1 out of Millions is successful at it?
  20. Clickers started this thread by hostilely proclaiming clicking is just as good as binding (100% false). If they asked a question and were willing to listen to facts and reason, that'd be a completely different story and I would respect that.
  21. Wrong, you don't understand and cannot properly read. Clicking cannot be more efficient than binding, Fact. I did not say that there is no such thing as a clicker being a better player than a keybinder, and if they are, most likely the keybinder is incredibly stupid and doesn't even know proper rotations. Solely on efficiency keybinding is better 100% of the time over clicking, logical fact. So nice try; don't try to hang with the big boys, you'll only make yourself look bad.
  22. This is too much for a clickers' brain to comprehend.
