  1. Let's say you're on your way to work for example and happen to stumble on a person at the parkling lot, behaving in an (for you) extremely unorthodox way. Wouldn't you glance, perhaps even walk over there and see what the fuss is about?
  2. I still fail to understand why you care so much, simply put. Like so many said before, there's a lot worse out there in other games, online, on TV and the movie theaters. You someone seem overly disturbed, even hurt, that Bioware is one of the places to find such? Maybe you should take a step back and chill a bit indeed... It's too much of a triffle to go nuts over.
  3. For you personally you mean. And maybe some others. But not the entire fanbase. Generalizations ftl. Why not? Please, do tell us why they should not be written the way they are?
  4. From the standpoint of a female player on the Empire's side, I have to admit that there are moments when I twitch in regards to certain happenings throughout the story progression. I think that such a reaction is only natural, although I don't often get to see or experience any sexual violence, neither inflicted on my character nor being inflicted on others (I believe that's something male characters get to experience more), since it is after all the Dark Side we're talking about here. Slavery, genocide and the rest of what the OP describes go by just like in a movie. They stir something inside without them really affecting me. I find it in no way exaggerated or over the top, even more so if one considers the atrocities that actually occured in the real world in times of war. Humanity's real history involves more than enough examples of such, without even having an obviously "evil" side in most cases. So how or why does this shock so much when it happens in a game and when one of the sides bases almost its entire structure on principals such as 'survival of the fittest', 'eat or be eaten' and similar? Keep in mind that there's always the other side for the weak hearted. Unless of course the OP is referring to "when you dance with the devil, the devil won't change; he's changing you", meaning that someone might come out as a much more evil person after playing an imperial character....which I also find far stretched.
  5. I giggled....so much panic, for something so trivial. xD
  6. I don't see what the big fuss is about to be quite honest. Sure, the romancing features enriches the storyline perhaps but eh...if you really want a truly interesting love story then you might want to seek it out in RP instead? Flirting with the AI can definitely never be as exciting as doing so in-character with another player, no? Not to mention the freedom one has in regards to both deciding with whom to engage such a plot and the plot's nature itself. I for one find the AI romance options to be quite all right so far (level 46). There's plenty of chances to flirt and no, it's far from only aliens for my class at least (inquisitor). I think that complaining about this specific thing is a wee bit...silly This is not The Sims after all.
  7. What I need is a similar feature to the barber shop on WoW. I'm not talking about re-creating the entire character or features that define her, like eyes or skin color, or her face, for which I'd actually agree to pay real money. I'm talking about cosmetic changes, such as tattoos, headbands, hair etc., something that shouldn't cost real currency in my opinion. As for the legacy thing, yes, I'm aware. But it'd still be nice to have some basic feature that allows us to change small things on our character.
  8. Actually paying for it would be a bit too much, at least for real money. It's just a headband xD Aye, but so far BW has been more on top of things. Hopefully it won't be long..
  9. Well that sucks... So it's either remaking the character from scratch or waiting until they implement a feature that allows that -.-'
  10. I was wondering whether anyone has tried contacting BW in any way in order to change their character's appearance, long after they created it. My character was already level 30 when I decided I wanted to have her damn headband removed, since it looks utterly silly with any piece of headgear on. The only two options I saw was 1. remake the character (gah... -.-) or open a ticket. I obviously chose the ticket option and the reply I got involved making an international call in order to get any assistance regarding the matter. Hence my question. Were I to actually spend the cash on that call, would I actually receive any assistance or would it be utter waste of money?
  11. That'd be way too easy. That's why most of your aliens are weak. We on the other hand don't only have to fight the republic, but also them alien-hatin' imperials, which obviously makes us faaaar bettah!
