The problem with people who complain about sorcs is they are almost always just bad. Look at this guy above me, he doesn't know the different between snares and slows.

I think bioware has acknowledged that only bad players struggle with sorcerers. Working as intended.

Dear Bioware, I feel your itemization on battlemaster gear is incorrect. When I look at the gear, I believe it is better to keep my champion gear which I can correctly itemize (thank you operative power/surge mods) then to switch to a battlemaster piece with sloppy itemization. I feel an easy fix for this would be to let us buy battlemaster mods of multiple variations for 1 battlemaster accommodation each. This would give us more control, and keep us playing longer.

Well, we do know that you are complaining about a pretty balanced class. That sort of leads us to thinking that it's more of a skill issue then a balance issue.

I'm sorry, but as someone who played high ranked arenas, thinking like this lends itself to bad players. Good players find a way to beat bad players. After a certain ranking, everyone had pretty much the same gear. Some comps will have advantages over other comps, but it's up to the teams to figure out how to squeeze out as many wins as they can against counter comps, that's a huge part of the skill factor of arenas. I'd put it more at 70% skill, 20% comp, 10% gear.

Wrong. The best pvpers want to play on a well coordinated 8 man team against a well coordinated 8 man team. This is the highest form of pvp. Solo Queuing would take much less skill and have SOO MUCH RNG to the ranking system that you are either trolling or bad. Take your pick.

I don't hate the idea for something like this down the road, but they need to fix all the issues with the current content before working on anything like this.

Most of you crying about sorcs being "OP" must be kind of bad at the game. I know the whole "l2p" thing is kind of cliche, but it's just what it makes people think, sorry. Most of you saying Sorcs are not powerful or a strong class must also be kind of bad at the game. Sorc is definitely a strong class when played to it's max potential, which you probably aren't. So basically, the forums are mostly filled with people who are kind of bad. I'm not attacking anyone specifically, but watching people make inaccurate or stupid arguments on both sides of the fence gets kind of old. I think sorcs are a strong class that has both its strengths and weaknesses. I believe a couple people could use some small buffs (operatives/snipers) and for the most part people who cry for nerfs are kind of bad.

I don't see sorcs crying about other classes. Marauders/Assassins kind of counter us, but such is to be expected. I'm not sure I see the point of your post.

If you play a melee class, and you're on here crying about sorcs, it's a l2p issue. Specifically, if you are a Marauder or Assassin and you have problems with sorcs, you should probably just quit now, there is no hope for you.

I didn't read anything past this. Everything you say is irrelevant because based on you're 'over 700exp" you don't really understand game mechanics. I'd suggest looking into how stats work and optimizing your character before posting on class balance.

The Ultimate Marauder counter ability? lol? I mean it's nice to have, but if you're a marauder and you lose a 1v1 to a somewhat equally geared sorcerer, you should probably just take the game back to best buy and tell them you're sorry.

I'm a sorc so i freaking hate Marauders, but they don't need nerfed. If played well they are a strong class, if not played well they are a joke. Don't we wish all classes would be like this?

They said cross server pvp was on the way. No where have I seen them saying it's coming in 1.2. If you've seen that somewhere can you link it for me? As for the quote above. Imagine you're on a server like mine where pretty much the entire pvp crowd for your faction is in one guild. We will be the only ones queuing on our server and will constantly be playing against guildies. If they put some kind of rating requirement on gear or whatever, you could easily just cycle people into the "winning group" untill they have what they need. The example I gave above is not circle boosting, altho that would also probably be a real issue.

If they don't release cross server pvp along with rated warzones, things will be pretty bad on some servers. I joined a server that was "Heavy" at the time I joined and is now mostly "light". If they do not implement cross server rated warzones we will be playing against the same 1 or 2 groups over and over. Even worse, don't you think this will eventually lead to things like circle boosting and win trading? Releasing rated warzones without cross-realm support would be a big mistake in my opinion.

Complaining about sorcerers is like wearing a sign that says "I'm bad" to me. I play multiple classes, one of which IS a sorcerer. You guys just don't understand how to handle them (not that it's that hard) and get mad when you see they did more damage then you. Grow up and l2p, it's really not that hard, they're super squishy and one of the weakest 1v1 classes in the game. Interrupt a force lightning, stun them a few seconds, and laugh as they melt in front of you. If they force sprint away and you don't have a slow/stun/snare ready then you deserve to lose because you're bad. Stop posting and go l2p, it'll do you a lot more good.

Umm I'm a BM and my server wasn't big enough to exploit illum and I didn't play in "early access" so be careful with your generalizations. I don't really care if they give BM to everyone. A bad kid BM is still a bad kid.
