  1. Yes, for years I've been trying by all means to talk to the devs about a "Great Roleplay Emotes Pack"... I believed at one time that they were going to release it: when I seen the image of the fortress NPC pack which ALL have an animation that players CANNOT use..... But I have the impression that this suggestion is not being listened to. It does not seem difficult to me to implement given the fact that the animations already exist on all models of the game, we see our characters playing them in a large number of cutscenes. A pack like this on the Cartel Market could bring some money to the game so... I really don't understand.
  2. Lets revive this topic.. In particular for Great RP Emotes Pack haha pls SWTOR T.T
  3. ...why not use what you already have on hand? After watching tonight's stream (on which there were some nice new features), I'm still surprised to see that the SWTOR team isn't using what ALREADY exists in the game... For example, why not commission a developer (even junior, since beginner modders have managed to do it) to make many features already implemented, but inaccessible in the game, availables? I've already talked about it in several posts on the forum, but I'll say it again with the hope of one day being read, you have A TON of dormant and unexploited content that requires almost no investment and guarantees profitability! Examples : - Make available, in the in-game store, old outfits that are no longer accessible, - Make exclusives available. Simple example: the six masks of the Dreadmasters, Darth Baras's mask or the “simplified” outfit of Rivix, - Create a "Pack of emotes and postures" with all the emotes and postures, existing in every model's animations, not accessible to players. These three proposals are based on already existing content, certainly requiring a little development, but no creation "from scratch". You have gold in your hands, why not use it? I hope that one day these proposals will be heard. I have been able to discuss it with many other players and none understand this ignorance given to what already exists for the game, without being accessible for incomprehensibles reasons. Thanks everyone for reading and have a nice day!
  4. We agree! And above all, these emotes are not limited to 1 or 2 seconds... It's better for the screens! It would be really easy to do, all these animations already exist, all models have them! You just have to create commands to play these animations (not really more difficult, modders have already succeeded in doing them!) This particular proposal is far from being unfeasible or requiring enormous resources... Please @JackieKo @KeithKanneg @EricMusco , hear us :((
  5. Hello there! I'm making this post with several suggestions for the cartel market, maybe they're not good but they use existing things in the game, without the need to create new ones (except for one). It would be a shame not to capitalize on what already exists and which does not require creation from scratch, right? Bring back old armor sets! One of my biggest questions about SWTOR is: Given the current state of the game (we all know that it has seen better days... ) why delete the existing content? Old outfits, from Operations or Flashpoints and old expansions are no more accessible for many. For example, the old outfits resembling those of the Revanites, or a PvP gear part from the first version of the game! Why not bring them back via the Cartel Market or another means? This is content that already exists, which requires a much lower investment of time than creating content and which players want to see again! For everyone I could talk to about it, anyway. You can also make it accessible in the "outfit creator" to use equipment reserved for other classes in PvE... There are armors that have returned to the game but can only be used for certain classes, which is quite frustrating! A “Great Roleplay Emotes Pack” My question is: why not create a "Roleplay Emote Pack" on Cartel Market including all the animations, poses and emotes currently not accessible to players? I saw that you had already responded to suggestion posts detailing the difficulties posed by certain proposals, I actually have no idea of the constraints linked to emotes but all these animations already exist in game, on all models character regardless of race, gender, or class. Would it really be complicated to create an emote asking to play an existing animation? (That's a question, I don't know myself even though I've done similar things in other games ) Here is a non-exhaustive list that I thought of, for "poses" that would last until the emote is canceled: - Crossarms (no time limitation) - Hands tied in front of you (Satele Shan Posture) - Hands behind the back (Darth Marr's favorite posture according to rumors) - Hands on hips - Pace - Variation of existing things to imitate holocommunication Why not an NPC creator for Strongholds? The idea here would be to offer a tool (for guilds and/or players) inspired by character creation! This tool would allow you to create your own NPCs for Strongholds, allowing you to customize: - Appearance (similar to character creator) - Outfit (similar to outfit creator) - Posture Why not offer creation using Cartel Coins? This idea may also be complex to implement, but could certainly be interesting, especially for Roleplay! Add custom appearances worn by NPCs or an Outfit customization tool ! In SWTOR, many NPCs wear armor derived from existing armor: an outfit without shoulder pads, without a cape or with some elements removed... I understand that the armor models in the game are separate: there is a base to which certain additional components are added or not. The perfect example was the Dreadmasters mask: the base is the same for everyone, but the additional components are not the same. The same thing exists for Darth Rivix's armor, which is that of Callous Conqueror with fewer additional elements. Why not make these outfit variations available to players when possible? Of course, the most "complex" suggestion I could make on this subject would be to propose setting up an in-game "modification tool" allowing you to modify armor yourself, add to it or remove it additional related components. I don't know how long it would take to develop such a tool, but it would add a lot to in-game customization only based on existing content! Imagine being able to personalize your outfit, within the limits of the components initially linked to it obviously: it would be really nice for immersion and would make the characters even more unique! I don't know if these suggestions will be read, or if some players approve, but I think they might help to get a breath of fresh air while waiting for future developments! Thanks everyone for reading and have a nice day!
  6. Yes please, Oricon stronghold! 😭 You could use the Dread Palace archetype for this, Rishi's Fortress was very similar to The Ravagers ^^
  7. Happy new year! Lets up this subject again... It's not like this is the most impractical suggestion on this forum...
  8. I'd like to bring up this subject, after having had the same problem as mentioned above recently: my class history is that of the warrior and, obviously, when I change to my second sith assassin style I can no longer use the appearances of objects reserved for Sith warriors... Please remove these stupid reservations of certain sets to certain classes, so that we can create outfits with all the existing materials...
  9. In any case, these impossibilities of use if you are not of the right class no longer have to be... As someone said above, there are cases in which its completely stupid! Combat styles make this "set" mechanic, as it can exist in WoW, completely obsolete in the game. It has not even been used since 7.0. It would be time to allow players, at a minimum, to use all these appearances in the outfit modifier regardless of their class. I totally agree!
  10. Hello, I am contacting you following a bug that I noticed for several weeks regarding PvP missions. I play on a French server but I don't know if the bug is present elsewhere. Images will undoubtedly speak better than words:
  11. @EricMusco Yes, we've been asking for this kind of thing for years... I'm not asking for added content in my proposals. Simply ways to use what already exists in the game!
  12. Hello there ! What do you think about adding a possible more advanced outfit modifier to SWTOR ? I understand that the armor models are made like this: - There is an existing base, which may also be common to several items, - On this base, additional components are added (cape, hood, shoulders, etc.) My idea would be to propose the creation of a tool allowing players, once an outfit has been unlocked, to add or remove these additional components for more customization on their outfit but ONLY when it's possible, obviously: an armor that doesn't have any cape component attached initially probably wouldn't be able to have one. For the monetary aspect (cartel coins), we could imagine something resembling the appearance editor? Each item you would like to hide or display on your outfit would cost a certain number of coins. To me, this idea would bring a ton of new customizations just by playing with what exists in the game! Even if it seems difficult to set up, perhaps the devs team will have an opinion on the matter! Would this be feasible and interesting for you?
  13. Perhaps yes, in all cases my point is simply to say that armor "reserved for certain classes" no longer has any reason to exist. The "set" mechanic no longer exists and the only ones remaining belong to old patches, which makes certain appearances inaccessible for the outfit modifier without any real justification.
  14. Hello, A suggestion that I think has already been made, but would it be possible to remove class restrictions from certain armors? Here are several points in this direction: - With combat styles these restrictions make much less sense. - These armors are made unusable as cosmetics for any other class, while some allow you to bring back old appearances that have now disappeared from the game... - Old armor sets are no longer used in PvE, although it would be interesting if this unlocked the appearance even if the bonus remains linked to the class. - There is no longer an armor set for classes in 7.3, keeping this old mechanic and depriving players of certain appearances seems to reduce the possibilities of the game. I think this restriction no longer makes much sense in SWTOR, other than limiting what is accessible. I recently bought a set of armor (without it being specified whether it was dedicated to a certain class) and found myself with unusables objects, both in terms of cosmetics and equipment, which is very frustrating as you can imagine...

  18. The opinions shared here are very interesting, and I share most of them. I think like many that the future is uncertain and that we'll only really know what it is in the first quarter of 2024. A change of hands is always scary for players, especially when it's to a studio that's not known for developing games but for maintaining them. For my part, I first imagined budgetary reasons. It's stupid, but Bioware develops very large licenses and is therefore a black hole in terms of investment. My first thought was "they don't have the means to invest in SWTOR, their budgets being too divided over several big licenses, so the game changes hands to a developer whose funds are less divided". I really don't know if this is a good idea, time will tell but I too am so tired of seeing an MMO with so much potential being wasted... It's a Star Wars, overseen by one of the companies the most lucrative (EA) despite the quality of their games and Disney wants to explore the periods of The Old Republic. All the ingredients are there, this should be one of the most played MMOs and yet it was so poorly managed. I hope for the best while preparing for the worst, SWTOR will remain a game about which I have a lot of good memories.
  19. Hey! A suggestion that's probably been made before but I think would be cool for the game! I know that "RP" is a game mode that is often considered "minor" compared to PvE or PvP. However, there is a large community of RP players on SWTOR, regardless of the region. Would it be possible to create a third "layer", as there are for PvE or PvP, dedicated to RP in which the phased areas for quests would be open and usable? Its often frustrating not to be able to exploit the whole game during our Roleplay adventures and this layer would be really beneficial! What do you think ?
  20. Telling me that all streams have been like this for years does not really contradict my point. I haven't watched all the previous streams, but each time it's a level of realization close to that of a small independent group, not of a company the size of Bioware. I loved SWTOR at one time for having managed my own guilds and communities there. I still really enjoy playing it on old content and I have great memories of it. Yeah there was a time when it felt like the developers were listening to player feedback a bit. It wasn't always easy but we got that impression. Do they still look at the threads on this forum they created themselves back in the day for suggestions whether it's about classes, gameplay, or the Cartel Market? As for technical in-game additions I agree. What's being done on the launcher level UI improvements tends to make one think they're trying to modernize SWTOR and therefore the game isn't close to be abandoned. Unfortunately as you say the content offered as a whole is absolutely not the reflection of a healthy MMO and tends to make believe the opposite. Overall, it gives me the feeling of a game under life support to give the illusion that he is fine... I don't think we can today say that SWTOR is the Star Wars MMO that players who still play it deserve. I'd like to specify that I dont want the end of SWTOR, on the contrary I'd really like to take back a real pleasure in discovering new content for this game! I myself have long defended the game against those who called it "dead". I'm not a high-level PvE player, just a Star Wars lover who is disappointed to see his favorite MMO go down like this for years. If this loss of interest was related to the breathlessness of the MMO style I'd not say much, but currently it is unfortunately related to the catastrophic management of EA and Bioware.
  21. Beyond all that is mentioned, its clear that the game is out of breath. The live didn't have much really interesting (and was a disaster visually.. a simple powerpoint presentation). Since KotFE, the population of the game keeps decreasing and its almost obvious that the budget allocated to SWTOR decreases at the same time. Its probably the MMO benefiting from the least investment and yet Disney and Lucasgames would have ample means to remedy this and transform it into a magnificent showcase for their future projects. Right now I'm just wondering when the end of development of new content on SWTOR will be announced. When you compare it to other MMOs like TESO, released only 3 years later, the difference is so striking... Unfortunately the community is no longer listened to and the developers sink into ideas that go around in circles, without originality and of which we see stages once every 6 or 7 months for 30 minutes of content. It's sad, the mere name of Star Wars was good enough, if the development was efficient enough, your MMO would have outclassed 90% of the others in terms of players.
  22. I totally agree! I didn't propose "patrols" or waypoints because I think it's technically much more complex to implement in strongholds than an NPC creation feature, but it's a very good idea!
  23. Vader does. Vader is cool. We want to be like him, and Oricon is the best place!
  24. Good morning, Here's an idea that others may have already thought of. Wouldn't it be great to provide players to create custom decorative NPCs for strongholds? It would be a matter of deciding their names, poses and equipment ourselves. Of course, this gear could be cosmetics that can be picked up in-game through differents activities or the Cartel Market. This would create new rewards and a bit more customization feel for Strongholds. What do you think ?
