Tore my meniscus and I've been shopping around for an mmo to play while i rehab, but at this point it's not worth coming back to swtor until they merge servers. It's a stupid catch 22 because players aren't as enticed to come back if there servers are dead, but perhaps if players like me started playing again because of a bigger population on an individual server then the community would see a boom.

Honestly if they released the full version of SWTOR as offline single player they would probably make a lot more money then they would just having it as an online game. Personally, I would be willing to dish out a couple hundred bucks for it. I feel as though many others would as well, even if it's paying 60 bucks for base game then like 30 for each expansion. Additionally, they could possibly port it to consoles for another huge and untapped revenue stream. I just don't have time for mmos anymore, but to be able to hop into kotor 3 and just play some class quests or w/e offline would be amazing.

And you don't understand that even if the back pedaler can move forward, then the melee has a new option to A) run forward, the closing the gap at a much quicker rate or B) just attack someone else, there is no setting in the game that forces people to chase noobs down, as if they were noobs themselves

It's amusing how people are justifying their back pedal by saying that it is necessary to maintain a gap against a melee. This is wrong, for the guy who was saying that most charges are 10m, an easy way to counter a bad back pedal is run the opposite direction, then charge- boy is that difficult. And as for stealth like shadow/sin or op/scoundrel....If you are playing against one of those classes and they try and chase you down, then frankly you need to realize that what you are doing isn't justification as a whole and i would go so far as to say, if the stealthy was so stupid to chase you down, considering that a lot of their big 1v1 damage comes from openers, then you should be able to beat them just as easy from just auto attacking and picking your bum. Nuff' Said
