  1. Yeah it is difficult to see that someone nearby is talking to you with /say. Optional (put it in the social preferences) chat bubbles would solve this.
  2. I was on my lvl 36 full Kinetic spec Shadow doing Maelstrom and put guard on the lvl 40 Sage at the beginning of the instance. At some point during our run, I noticed it wasnt on her anymore. I also made sure our Guardian was in his DPS stance at the time. So I tried using it on the others in the group and it worked fine. When I tried using it on the sage, it said she was already being guarded but there was no buff icon indicating that. I had her alt-f4 and when she came back in, she fell through the floor and died. when she came back, i could guard her again. I'm not sure if it was the relog or the death that solved the issue. Edit: No one had died before Guard stopped working.
  3. I'm skipping everything else in this thread to say that Bioware doesn't want space combat in its current implementation to be the only space combat. The day before early access began, there was a live online Q&A via Best Buy with the devs in which James Ohlen said they are "working on a secret project to expand the space experience." So there you have it. There's more to come.
  4. People have more motivation to post and complain when they are driven by negativity than when they are happy and enjoying the game. Think about it. Why would someone who is enjoying the game stop to post about how much they are enjoying the game when they could simply keep playing? Alternatively, someone who is not enjoying themselves wouldn't keep playing, so they come on the forums to vent their frustration and try not to feel left out in their minority opinion. Misery loves company...
  5. Lore wise? Fine. Movie quality wise? Ehhhhhhhhhhhh. Certain characters bugged me a lot. Anakin was too immature (too adolescent?). A lot of acting was.. meh. Some actors were fine. Somewhat too much reliance on special effects? Felt like it kinda watered down Star Wars as a whole, cheapened it. Writing could have been better.
  6. My thoughts exactly. I made a post mentioning this yesterday. I would just like an ETA.
  7. you mean 45-60 minutes right? What I do changes every time. I'll go on forums, browse the web, do some stretches, maybe some christmas shopping, curse the heavens, realize how little money I have, stare at queue, go to bathroom, and drink during all of this.
  8. Could you add Jung Ma (RP-PVP) as a server NOT to roll on? The other 2 RP-PVP servers are usually not full (actually I've never seen them full), and I'm not rerolling after having a lvl 20 and 2 other characters on Jung Ma already. I just began an 850 or so queue at 10:30PM EST!
  9. I'd like this too. If for nothing else, than for the fact that what I have in mind for my character is someone who's look matures with this experience. I made my character looks like a padawan or very young jedi might, and would like later to change hairstyle and facial hair to denote a more experienced and weathered appearance.
  10. I think the rarest colors should be available to gray characters, or simply restricted to both dark I and above and light I and above. lol and om not biased, even though im rolling a gray.
  11. I do like server specific forums. Builds community.
  12. they added a second east cost one because jung ma filled so damn quickly lol. i guess west coast didn't fill to that extent.
  13. hint's would be kind of cool, actually. But running up obscure pipes is a little too out there. Why would anyone (in character, anyway) even fathom jumping around pipes near the ceiling in the first place? It doesn't even remotely fit into the Star Wars paradigm. There were a few datacrons that made a lot more sense, like finding one in the back of a cave on Tython. The cave was well hidden, but was fun to find and made sense in the universe. Off the beaten path and not obvious, but not so obscure as to require awkward pipe climbing. More like this, please! I mean, sure, my character is played by Nolan North who also played Nathan Drake in Uncharted, but that doesn't mean THIS character is suited to climb a labyrinth of boxes and pipes in this game too!
