  1. i completely agree and have mentioned in another post in the consular section that the designs just dont fit with the lore of star wars, which drew most of us to this game in the first place. i have seen a lot of the designs for the end game consular armour worn by princess amadala in episode 1 and 2, but she wasnt a jedi, she was a princess in the 1st film and a senator in the 2nd, so quite how that ties in with any kind of jedi design is beyond me, but worse still, is the new smuggler design armour was worn in the films by an operative, not a smuggler, so not only did they get the armour wrong, its for the wrong side. btw, as a die hard star wars fan since the first film was released, (yes, i'm that old), episode 2 is hands down the worst of the 6 films, and taking any sort of design cues from the worst film in the series is unforgivable.
  2. i know a lot of ppl who's companions are wearing full columi/rakata/champion/battlemaster gear, maybe you are on a server where there are a lot of children running pugs who need on everything even if they cant use it, but so far on my server that hasnt been an issue. also, in order to run a lot of the HM fp's, you need to have most if not all of the team in mostly rakata gear, so what happens to the armour that drops when ppl already have it? everyone greeds for companions, heck, the reason why i made this post in the first place, is because so many of the ppl i run ops with already have decent gear and usually pass on everything they already have, so then RNG decides that i should want a trooper chest piece for my sentinel, or an armormech schematic when i have artifice. also, it has happened too many times when a raid is organised, that certain proffessions are needed more than others, and we have to do the decent thing and run your fully geared healer/tank instead of the DPS alt that needs the gear, when that happens its also nice to let ppl need for things the alt can use instead of the things the main doesnt, as without them, the raid wouldnt happen.
  3. now that its possible to have items which are bind on legacy, i suggest that all bind on pickup items get made bind on legacy, as myself and a number of others have all recieved bind on pickup items which are useless for the characters they are on, but would be of use to other characters i have, such as things like the schematics from ops/flashpoints which are random rolled if nobody wants them, i currently have about a dozen schematics which i could use on alts, but are useless for the characters that have them, not to mention all the armour, weapons etc which i've been awarded along the way, which end up sat in my cargo bay or sold to a vendor. i'm not saying that items which have already been used should be allowed to be traded, they should indeed stay bound to that character, but plz, change bind on pickups to bind on legacy
  4. with the new missions that have been added, i and many others have found that if you have all the daily and weekly missions for pvp, pve, flashpoints, ops, and space missions, and now the speeder missions, the 25 mission slots is just not enough, its far too easy to exceed the cap which should be extended by atleast the total of new quests which were added to black hole which can be picked up simultaniously + the number of new quests which were added to the fleet for things like the speeders which take up an additional 11 spaces. idealy, it would be nice to have 40 or 50 mission slots which should be plenty for those of us who like to play every aspect of the game as and when the chance arrives rather than have to leave the world you are on, go to fleet, decide which mission u can delete in order to pick up a new mission and head back to the planet u were on before, to get 1 of the 12 kills you need towards a speeder, which then cant be deleted until you manage to get the other 11 kills.
  5. its not just the worst looking armour, but in regards to many of the sets, it bares no relation to anything star wars, i suggest someone beat the lead designer around the head with a star wars box set until he actually realises what game he's designing the armour for. its not that the designs are bad, or poorly executed, some of them are really incredibly good, they just have nothing to do with the style that we expect for star wars. the NPC's that we fight every day have far better looking armour than 90% of whats available for us to use. i dont want some artists impression of what they think our classes would wear, i want a suit of armour that would be practical to wear in a fight and not a pantomime, i want something with a male version as well as female as i dont like running around in drag and i'm pretty sure not all women play healers like some sexists would have you believe. basically, i'd like to feed the designers to a rancor and get some people involved who understand the lore of star wars
  6. i swear the armour designer had some really good designs, which his children then drew all over in crayons, and they made it into game, i mean seriously, the consular helmet, *** is that all about? the knights is bad, in a bug eyed soup bowl kind of way, but what in gods name is up with the basket ball hoop. seriously, the people at bioware need to actually look at the game they are designing things for, only certain cultures wear armour anything like the ones that have made it into game, they have nothing at all to do with the classes they are designed for, hell, take a look at the splash screen to see what the armour SHOULD look like, the NPC's get it, so why dont we?
  7. sadly, the server i am on, i can make more money selling the raw materials than actually making things to sell, as its quite an active pvp server even tho its pve, so a lot of ppl already have a good start on getting battlemaster bags before they hit 50. nothing i make can compare with that.
  8. i have had 400 artifice and cybertech for quite a while now, since my characters were about level 30 infact, i've RE'd all the greens to blues, spent a lot of time and money on mats, missions, and re'ing only to find that the schematics run out at 49 for the BOE items, and the good level 50 items are all BOP, but require items from HM FP's that every other crewskiller also needs to make their bop items. i can get better quality armour plates from doing daily missions, better quality hilts and barrels from the same dailies also, and mods from heroics that are better than i can make, so my question is this, what use are crewskills exactly? anything i can make which would be worth selling is all BOP. anything i can make to sell is too low level compared to items available from vendors/missions. as a cybertech, why cant i make speeders for other players to buy? or level 50 armor/earpieces/mods? where are the level 5 ship mods?, hell, where are the level 1 and 3 ship mods? after all the time and money i spent on crewskills and the only thing i produce that i can use, is grenades and a speeder, except i cant make the grenades yet, because i need to get biometric crystal alloy from a hmfp, just as every other crewskiller needs.
