That's a good one. I would take this companion instead of any stronghold...hopefully they will consider other options for next GS

I think that sounds where this might end up....chores and guess what you get the reward for a new room to display your goodies. I'd prefer a companion who would not only fight alongside me but contribute in leveling up or accumulating more XP. Easy choice when it comes to it.

At least would have been nice to have a cool dye set as reward or take the feedback from the community on other main reward options. I don't think stories did go well last GS and this one still remains to be seen . What do Strongholds and Descos have to do with real Star Wars? I know it's cool to have them but should be optional rather than the main reward for grinding GS.

Really? I guess they don't care about feedback? I don't mind stories or strongholds since some people might want that but a better option could have been... giving players a choice and not just limiting to space barbie rewards. Respectfully this will be another HARD pass GS for me!

100% agree. I opted to skip last event and hopefully they can come up with something better than last time. A companion would be great indeed!

Anyone know if you don't claim items from the GS 5 tab. Are they still available post event, do they send unclaimed items by mail or you lose them all? As you know the max for GS tokens is 15 and ever since the first one I have tried to use all of them but I got everything I need now and have an excess of 7 tokens that cannot claim. Do I lose them or get them back? I wish they could increase the CAP for another 30 or so instead of just what they have now, Thanks!

What gives? What is the use of a Galactic season without a JUICY reward. I don't care about stories, tokens , mounts or Barbie like armors. I know I could be in the minority but this is a HARD PASS for me. I guess we are really in MAINTENANCE MODE and this MMO is not even what it used to be.

Very disappointed on the news but I guess as it is been said. "All good things must come to an end". NO reason to keep subscribing on the Titanic. I will have some more last fun for kicks sake and sign out. I was really hoping the summer Nightlife celebration would go really well this year but with these news I'm sure most smart people will leave this game. Why invest any further efforts. It has been real fun and Thank you Bioware DEVS for making this a wonderful past time. I wish you the best and hope some day soon there will be another similar MMO StarWars related that can keep on the torch started on 2011. Thanks SWTOR!

Any reasons why this is happening. I was able to delete a few launcher files and was able to get in once. Now virtually impossible. Is it due to server size decrease? Funny since 5/4 did not have any issues but now on weekend impossible to log in? Do subscribers get a preference? Thanks!

This is probably the most thoughtless (to put it nicely) idea ever conceived in this MMO. Making everyone suffer rather than to come up with the suggestions proposed in PTS. They never listen to the playerbase and get themselves in a mess over and over again.

I thought it was just me. This patch really sucks big time with all the crappy changes. I support this request and miss dearly my very low shader setting, Please bring it BACK!

I did put a ticket and also posted in bugs but CS sucks. Does anyone know if steam is better than the crappy direct way of launching SWTOR? Once in a while the launcher gets messed up and you have to re-install the whole game. There used to be a launcher fix file but was removed. I guess Steam might be a better option? Sucks bug time for a game this old not to have an easy fix with launcher.

This sucks. I could not update and have to redo the whole launcher install? Over 35gigs? is there a repair patch or something?

Because some moron who have no sense in economics thought it would be a good idea to curve the credit economy in this MMO. Mighty WRONG!

OMG Who the heck tested these changes in PTS and said these were good. Trying to fix credit inflation by punishing ALL the game players? If there is too much money out there why don't they come out with things that one "chooses to spend" on credit sinks rather than to pass costs to ALL. This does not make sense at all. Like it has been said the poor players will become poorer and those with a ton of resources won't care. This is LAZY at best to fix a credit economy. Sell Items that those with money would like to buy or at least like in other MMOs ask players for ways to curve credit inflation. I'm a casual player and this will motivate me even to play less IMHO.

Regarding Gear vendors at the fleet. I noticed before this patch you could keep both upgraded items plus original lower rating items. I apologize for my lapse but perhaps was mentioned earlier that vendors will only replaced lower tier gears and will only show the upgraded ones. The older ones will vanish. For instance if I have a rating gear of 322 and upgrading to 326 or so...only the the 326 will show and the older one will be gone. Is that correct? or missing something? I did ask CS but their response is ambivalent. Thanks for any advice!
