  1. Yup, psychos rock! Kaliyo's my favorite companion, too. Not the most effective, but the most interesting.
  2. Loved the Imperial Agent story. I just finished as a LS Sith Warrior, which was weird but fun, but the Agent story was woven together much better.
  3. Not sure what you mean by "long term," but you're welcome . Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Making a note, Assassin's Creed 3... a friend of mine says I have to play the Mass Effect series.... The one thing that does worry me about unsubbing is, do I lose my old characters? Isn't there a limit of only 2 for FTP's?
  4. After I finish my next class story, I'm going to unsubscribe and keep playing as FTP. I've enjoyed the game, but I want to turn my attention to all the other games I haven't had a chance to play yet: XCOM, Skyrim, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and others. In order to experience the whole story of the game, I need to play through six more characters. That's too long to put other games on hold. I've played a "gray side" stealth Operative and a light side Immortal Juggernaut. The agent story rocked the world. The Sith Warrior story was good, but better than that, I liked feeling invincible. The next character's going to be the smuggler. I already started one and I like the wisecracking, greedy hero.

  6. I generally switch back and forth to liven things up. (That just sounds weird.) But seriously, that's how I did it. My first character was a male agent, my second is a female Sith warrior, my third will be a male smuggler.
  7. Break on Through Remix. She's sleek, deadly and sees beyond:
  8. On a similar note, I considered making a Rattataki bounty hunter, calling her Kaliyo, and pretending it was a side story to the rest of the campaign. Never got around to it, though. I'd love to play a story based on Kaliyo or based on Dr. Lokin. Of the Sith Warrior's characters, maybe Vette or Pierce. They strike me as the boldest companions (I'm LS so I haven't experienced Dark Jaesa yet).
  9. I was kiting him with some success, but still getting killed. I was about to go at it again when I saw two people complaining that they were having a hard time beating the boss on their last quest. Then I grouped with another warrior who was also having a hard time and we kicked his ***. Who said you had to fight fair?
  10. Don't worry. It's still a shocker when it happens.
  11. Just reached this point in the story. My character is light side and Jaesa's a good influence on her, but ohhhh, man, did I want to choke the crap out of him, or leave him a good, nasty scar to remember my "mercy."
  12. I know I'm getting the exact words wrong, but the lines are something like this: Kaliyo: "So this Alderaan. They'd never let someone like me into a place like this. Makes me want to throw everyone out of the palace and run around naked." Target, to my agent: "I'm not afraid of you!" Agent shoots him in the leg, and replies: "Are you afraid of me now?" My Sith warrior, after being invited to hang out with Vette and her sister on Nar Shadda: "No one parties like a Sith!" Kaliyo: "The ruins of old Alderaan... looks great on the holos, but it smells like wet mold." Vector is very happy and says something about the song of the universe Agent: "You worry me when you talk like that."
  13. Just thinking, I wonder when English accents for the Empire became the norm? Was it casting Peter Cushing as Tarkin? Ben Kenobi played a Jedi, so that counts the other way. Most of the other Imperial accents in the first movie were American. Maybe it's because you can't say "m'lord" as an American and have it sound right.
  14. You'll need a MacBook Pro to get a video card that plays the game decently well -- that's what I have. My graphics settings are only medium, which is what you get with a laptop. As for the Mac vs PC thing, it's blissful not to install drivers, ever, but it sucks to have to go to the PC partition to play good games. In the future I want to get a Maingear for gaming and a lighter-powered Mac laptop for everything else. There's a PC emulator called Parallels that allows you to Windows like it's another application. I don't know anyone who's used it, but I chose the Bootcamp route so that the computer wouldn't be running two operating systems at once, basically.
  15. Don't sell the stuff, just sell the pack unopened. I bought a pack, saw that the going rate was between 450K and 300K, and sold it for 350K.
  16. Just saw Skyfall. Naomie Harris definitely plays Raina Temple.

  18. Pleeeeease give us more light armor options that don't look like a wizard should be wearing it. And give us options that don't have hoods! I like to see the characters' faces...
  19. "I will taste your blood" ?????? DAAAAAMN! I may have to roll up a DS warrior just to hear that!
  20. /signed! Talk about untapped potential. Light side SIth and LS Jaesa are hiding who they are and could be killed for it at any moment. Jaesa, and the Sith warrior, are in dire need of companionship and support from someone who understands them.
  21. I couldn't do it. I don't have the stamina to live a double life, as a Jedi with passions or as a light side Sith. The closest I would get would be a Jedi who got booted out of the order before he completed his training, or being a light side Sith who was trained by his family in secret and never went to Korriban. I'd be more suited to being a smuggler, Imperial agent, or Repubic trooper.
