So, I've just come out of doing 3 PvP games on a level 27 alt, and quite frankly, what a HUGE WASTE OF TIME THAT WAS.
I'll let you have a guess how much xp, valor and commendations I got. Go on. Have a think about it... Still thinking? OK, I'll give you a clue, I don't need my toes to count, or even by fingers. That's right, 0.
Why? 8v4's don't work (surprisingly). I came out of every match with 3 medals. I was walking out of the spawn point, and dead... WAlk out, dead... wa.. you get the idea...
The new system is horrid for unbalanced teams. Why should I waste my time queuing and then playing out a game (and I do stay), when the server selects the teams and thinks "Hey, there's 8 Empire players, and oh, 3 Republic, that's fair right? The Republic'll be fine doing it... I'll send the invites out." No, it is not fair, no we are not fine, it's called being ganked to high heaven and back, and still having time for every player on the winning team to have a sh**, shower and shave.
So yeah... Why should I bother PvPing anymore, if I get NOTHING for it? Huh?
At least insert a debuff for idiots that think "Oh no, we are on the losing team. I do not know how to play, so I will quit... Duh..."
Congratulations Bioware... I am hungrily awaiting Guild Wars 2 even more than I was before... Thank you.
