Armormech is VERY handy for Troopers. You can fit yourself and ALL your companions while you level. From my experience the greens you craft are better than quest rewards maybe 90% of the time, and thats just the greens. If you RE to a blue, both you and your companion can use it. Its a no brainer m8. You don't actually have to RE to a blue pattern to level up, its just nice to do if you like crafting. Another option is to just craft greens/blues for your companions and use quest reward mods to upgrade your own orange gear as you level. In a nutshell armormech gives you loads of options especially as a trooper.

I dinged lvl50 today on my mara. I used Anni up til lvl 40 ish, then I went with Carnage for a change. Both rock for pve, no idea about pvp. I did notice Carnage was easier to manage RAGE/FURY/THINGY what ever its called.

I just dinged lvl50 today as a LS Mara. A lot of the LS options I came across were kinda pro-empire as a whole instead of 'killzor I R EBIL' DS stuff. I did rack up some DS points as some people just HAD to die. I have a pure DS Sorc that does indeed eat puppy tacos though, both are fun. So go with what you want.

I think the correct term is 'Burly' i.e. a fat bloke that doesn't get called fat to his face. Not always a bloke either, my sister is quiet burly....

His AI isn't the greatest, I 'think' the problem is that he won't move into heal range. i get around this by starting the fight then moving toward him a bit. Another thing I do is when starting a fight I dont force jump into the mob(s), I walk in and start smacking 'em. When geared and in range with the correct abilities turned on he makes a fine healer.

Armstech sucks man, sure you can get 'some' use out of it but imho not enough to justify starting it. I dropped it on one toon and just took up a pure mission skill.

Hi, I have a neutral BH Merc and I'm wondering if that will restrict my choice of crystals, anyone know ? I am using a Red/Blue combo at the moment for example but I don't know if 'end game' crystals have restrictions etc that will affect my usage later. cheers, Heggs.

I forgot to mention that the 'Blue' patterns you can buy off the craft trainer are good sellers and theres no RE messing about unless you want them to go pink

I’m sorry if I came across as a troll man. It certainly wasn't my intention so I will try and explain a bit better. This idea of yours wouldn't sit well in this type of mmo imho. This isn't SWG. The reason I suggested EvE online is because the crafting in that game is amazing and offers your idea and more. It is about internet spaceships though and maybe not your cup of tea. tl:dr If looking at your in game wallet makes you happy in your pants there are enough ways in this game to do that already.

No frikkin way, go play EvE Online if you want this type of feature.

It would be an OPTION, you would have the CHOICE to use it or not. So if mystery is your thing then play the traditional way that you like man. I think this is a very good idea myself but I doubt if it will be implemented.

As a rule of thumb I used to just put items on the GTN to get a base price, and then cancel the sale. Good way to get a price for gear, after that you just chance your arm tbh although coolness etc. should be figured in. I stopped selling gear altogether because money is easy in this game anyway and I don’t get a massive epeen from the amount of virtual money in my wallet Armormech has huge utility for you personally though, its one of my favourite crafting skills. I also help out guild mates with gear which is a bonus.
