This. Marauders are really good. I haven't played juggs. They take skill.. if played right they can be one of the better classes And we will probably get buffed soon because of all the bads complaining

For those of us who don't use a Razer Naga like mouse (I use a Steelseries Xai which only has 2 buttons) you kind of have to get creative with your keybinds. I'm looking for more "convenient" or creative keybinds since i've kind of run out that are relatively easy to press and use. Also if you don't have that many keybinds.. I HIGHLY suggest getting used to them especially for this class. You WILL be a better MMO player if you have everything keybound. Feel free to list your keybinds! The builds suggested in the Bounty Hunter sections guide are not optimal for either. Here are, in my opinion as someone who has no trouble getting over 350k in WZs, the best specs for a build that you can use for BOTH PvE and PvP: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#300bc0MZMIkbRMdRkfzZR.1 ^ This build gets Critical Reaction (% Alacricity when you crit) and Med tech which buffs reduces your heal's activation times. However, it does not get Jet escape and gets 1% less alacricity and accuracy. OR http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#3000cZMIkbRrdRkfzZf.1 This build basically skips Critical reaction and Med tech, and instead will put your Jet Boost on a 15 second cool down (which is amazing for PvP) with the 2 PvP set bonus. It also gets 1% more Accuracy and Alacricity than the other build flat buffed. What do you think? The difference in negligible, but important nevertheless.

I've won 3 warzones today. PvP daily will not update. Same thing that has happened numerous times in the past. I've tried re starting my client etc but still it won't update. If there is any bug you want to fix, it's this one. Because you are literally wasting my time by making me do 8 warzones a day to get 3/3 instead of just 3 a day. Just laughable really. This bug is extremely annoying and everyone gets it.

As far as activity goes? I want a server (any type, pvp pve rp doesn't matter) that has a decent republic population in comparison to others. Any suggestions?

Any word on when/if these will be implemented? I'm tired of playing on my lowish population server where I don't see an opportunity to join a HM run all day. I then log on my alt on a higher pop server and there is always so much activity in Fleet general chat (hms, ops, everything). It's either allow server transfers, or make a cross server Ops / FP looking-for-group system. If Bioware doesn't do one of these things, they can expect to lose a large amount of their player base and subscriptions once all of the level 50s that aren't on good servers realize there is literally NOTHING TO DO.

I said 99% of games. Saying that in every one of those instances I was facing bad players, is like saying everyone on my server is bad. That a ridiculously stupid generalized statement. I face top players on my server all the time in huttball, from the top guilds etc and they aren't spamming dispell nor do I believe that there isn't, or won't be, some type of mechanic implemented to protect our dots. Regardless, I can pull top damage as engineering, haven't tried MM. the point is our class is fine and to say otherwise, just shows that you aren't capable of high level PvP. go re roll a fotm class and complain about it when it gets nerfed, please.

Oh you're not level 50? Then guess what, your complaints about balance don't mean anything. I'm 50, around ~30 valor and top damage/kills in 99% of WZs and get good amounts of defender medals ETC. I play lethality, am extremely mobile, shield probe / evasion (w/ 2 set bonus) provide great survivability along with 30 sec cd debilitate, and all of the internal damage lets me own heavy armor classes as well as clothies. If you're good sniper can be one of the best classes, although I'm sure (since I'm exp'd when it comes to MMO PvP) if I played any other class I could keep up too. But the fact I out damage / out KB sorcs etc in full champ gear, when I only have a few PvP peices, shows that sniper is a FINE class IF you're good. Skill > balance in this case, because we are not inherently underpowered. W/e though, scrubs will continue to make complain posts and we will get buffed. Win win. Also less people rolling snipers.. I love being one of the 5 50 snipers on my server compared to 30+ lvl 50 sorcs.. At 50 as Lethality I down tanks nearly as fast as I down a sorc (actually, probably faster because sorcs have a bubble). Dot them up + Cull and their HP just drops.

On my medium pop PvE server, I haven't been able to complete a single ilum daily / weekly. There's just not enough people / action. I want to reroll to a server like Swiftsure, high pop PvP, but Bioware seems to discourage re rolling with the upcoming Legacy rewards, and no xfer transfers in sight. This means I won't be able to support my alt with the money I have on my main, AND have to restart my Legacy xp (which I feel should be game-wide, not server-wide). Regardless, I'm wondering if, on these higher pop servers, ilum is doable / active? Should I forfeit all of the benefits of having my level 50 on the same server just to re roll? Thanks for any feedback, I want to level an alt but this is a tough choice.

And suddenly you never have to worry about delayed cover etc. Using the crouch ability will never have that delayed period, in between the time you press cover and the time it takes for your character to roll into cover, that so many people complain about. I play Lethality and do absolutely fine with this method of cover (albeit I don't use cover much), always getting #1 or #2 in damage and kills at level 50, but I consider myself highly skilled and not everyone is as good as me. There is absolutely 100% no delay to your next ability with Crouch. Therefore, with proper keybind setup, casting snipe IS instant (for example, set crouch as the #2 keybind, and snipe on 2 as well.. hit 2 twice and you're already casting snipe.. walaah!) On a side note, I love snipers, but it's good most of you are all really bad and complaining about the class so that we get buffs in the future! Please continue!

I've been stuck at 2/3 wins and i've won multiple warzones. Why can you not fix gamebreaking bugs like this when you bring the servers down nearly every other night at 12 AM pst? Is my only option to abandon and restart the daily?...

Uhm, recently hit 50 and I don't understand why the system would give me 2 champ chest peices from champ bags. I opened one, turned it in and equipped my chest piece, then opened another and got another chest token. Is there any way to turn this in for other peices? or should I just use the mods in it..

1) What is the most efficient way to get epic PvP gear? What should my "pvp grind" rotation be each day? 2) Along with that, do any of the ilum dailies give champ bags / pvp type- rewards? 3) How do you get Tionese Commendations / Crystals? I know some of the answers, but I want to make sure because with my current understanding of how it works, it takes FOREVER to get just one peice of gear...

No, that's not it. It's not just the queue times. It's just the income rate of warzone commendations in ratio to the cost of PvP gear.

It just is. If it's not prime server time, the queues are can be incredibly long at level 50. Likewise, I haven't beaten Republic all day.. over 9 ish matches.. no wins. I've been 50 for a few days and am no where near ONE peice of gear. It is so friggin' hard to get PvP gear compared to other games like WoW. I'm not one to cater overly much to casual players.. but this is just ridiculous. Even if you're winning 50/50 it still takes forever to get a single peice of gear. Change the system. Make it a bit easier. Please? I feel like cancelling my sub and going back to sc2 / WoW full time as the grind at level 50 seems pointless. WORSE YET, I have to play against full PvP geared players all day because they picked up the game earlier than me and got to roll sub <49 players all day, and thus get geared quicker. Please, please, please, please change this system if you want your player base to stay. There's nothing worse than the feeling of "not getting anywhere" at the max level. Make it easier to obtain, at least, centurion PvP gear.

Sorry, this post does not contain mindless complaining about balance~~ I recently hit 50 and was wondering what the most efficient way to farm PvP was. Is it simply; Farm warzones for warzone commendations, turn in those commendations until you have 200 merc points / 200 warzone, buy champ bags, repeat? If so that seems like a VERY long process. How long am I look at before I have a decent set of PvP gear? I'm empire, but I've been losing a lot to republic recently..

I've been running as Engineering and my damage seems really good, but aggro on mobs when the tank dies is my only real way to tell D:.. level 50 btw I'm considering a switch to Lethality. Was wondering if this spec can "keep up" or be ahead of the other specs in pure PvE boss fights, etc.. as I plan on doing both PvP and PvE and don't want to re spec for each. Thanks

You don't mention Engineering once in your post, I ask, why? I have been engineering since level 10, I'm 50 now, so my knowledge of the other specs is limited. However, of the few 50 only warzones I've been able to run I have gotten at least top 3, usually top 2, in damage and kills. Plasma probe is incredibly useful, it resets shield probe AND A.P, basically giving you an AP every 1 minute, and a few other benefits. Amazing AoE.. etc.. all I'm saying is that ALL I hear people talk about is Marksman and Lethality, and never Engineering. I'll definitely be checking lethality out, but currently I'm getting 6-7 medels, 300k+ dmg each game with eng and don't have a reason to not be engineering Also, do you use Snipe / Ambush much as Lethality?

So I just finished the class quest line on Voss and got back to Imperial Intelligence, they dissolve it (which seems really stupid on it's own) AND take kaliyo away.. I would go continue the quests on Corellia, but I have 2 bonus series to do (voss/hoth). But until then I don't have Kaliyo. My question is, when do I get kaliyo back? Because I had a lot of affection w/ her and she was useful for crew skills. I'de like to know how far into Corelia you get her back, cause like I said I have 2 bonus series I have to do before I even go to Corellia where the class chain is..

All of you complainers are terrible, sorry. My sniper's 43 and I can legitimately say I've never not gotten 1st or 2nd place in Damage and Kills.. I can not match this on my Sorc. He just does less damage, and is still pretty squishy. You have to be good though, you have to know how to kite, and have every single ability keybound. I've been saying it the whole time and any other, actually skilled PvPers / PvPers that have achieved actual stuff in other games, will agree Snipers are fine.

only 1 space battle quest that gives me xp atm. but are there any bonus series for previous planets that become unlocked at 39 or 40?

I'm 3 bars away from level 40, but I just finished Hoth and there is no bonus series here until higher levels. The problem is, the only non-heroic quests I have are level 41 (class quest). I have some heroics I can try and do which will get me to 40.. but what am I supposed to do then? I have a WHOLE level to get through before I'm 41 and am on par with my class quest, and even then you should be a bit ahead of it. I skipped a few bonus series on planets that I had done before on a different character (balmorra, nar shaddaa, tatooine) and disliked the planets. But they were [bonus] quests. I didn't think NOT doing them would massively screw me over later on. So yeah. I'm out of stuff to do. Dear bioware, please make it more clear that Bonus Series on planet's are MANDATORY.. because always being low level for planets and quests is miserable. Any ideas of what I should do though??

Just about to get Doc for a companion. Kaliyo works fine for me but I'm wondering if at higher levels Doc may be better? Perhaps reduce downtime between pulls because of his heals? I'de like to know if I should gear him up etc or if he'll just be another Crew Skill bot like Vector..
