Real PVP is ANYTHING player Vs Player... That said the most SKILLED PVP in MMOs is 1-Arena 2-rated wzs A ladder system is a must!

Ok here's the deal, I'm a Shadow KC tank spec....I run this spec with full DPS gear. BUT In Huttball, Def void star & noods in the coast/civil war I would like to switch out my gear for a FULL tank set. I am a BIS ENDGAME player, I would like to know what to stack on my gear.... IN ORDER Def/Shield absorb/shield chance proc....so it would look like this.... Def rating > Shield ab > Shield chance....(But you know the right order) Ya Savvy?

Real "good" PvP for me is the ability to out think your opponent or get out thinked. I like to think of MMo's as movable chess. He moved here so i must move here and do this to avoid losing and secure a win. I really like Checks and balances amongst different classes. Real PvP for me is, a game that allows reaction time, knowledge of self and enemy abilities as well as tactics, and the execution of all these to translate into victory. Edit: Tor provides all of these, just a little bland as it is still an infant MMO.

^ This. I went 4 set bonus and ripped the mods out and put all DPS gear on with dps mods. Your best bet is to go to the Con/shadow part of these forums and read the post from "The Watchmen" (Her guild) girl. Women has done everything for you from best spec to rotaion to gear. Plus her videos are well made.

LOL youtube search of SWG PVP results are 11 videos of back peddlers and clicking engaged in 24v18 in world PvP on tattooine. youtube search of WoW PVP results are 1,674,356 top one is reckful going 101-2 in 2v2 arena. COMPARE THE TWO and you tell me. Then go build a city or whatever it is you did in SWG and call it PvP.

Honestly the majority of PUB guilds are X-SWG players. They have never had a ladder or ranking system and generally have never experienced high end PvP. How are you losing that much to these guilds?

So im always in a premade with my GF, brother and best friend. We rock people worlds. You have to remember a lot of people that play SWTOR didnt come from high skill capped games. Most guilds that run a lot of premades come from SWG. And i dont doubt it was a good game, it just mostly consisted of WPvP and no ladder system with rankings. So Lets take advantage of that. You sir need to make call outs to PUGS. At the start of every WZ you should type a strategy to create some Cohesion amongst your team. Try These: Simply type in /ops chat Alderran - "1 Left Rest Mid". And if you see any enemies head left you go there as well. Huttball - "Someone stealth on their backline so we can pass from Pit" and " just keep passing the ball guys and own Mid" Novare Coast - "1 NW rest Mid" Voidstar - "Everyone head left and keep going left after you die" These are the most basic of strats and give your team some coordination as well as a chance to start a WZ properly without being put in a deficit. Point is, someone has to lead the WZ. Make sure a strat is decided upon before the match starts and make sure enemy healers are getting marked and i guarantee you will see an increase in your win ratio.

Sometimes when im at work i just afk and then i keep jumping in and out the Fire in Huttball and Heal myself. Yesterday i got 659k heals. We lost 0-6.
