a sorc/sage is a jedi who has progressed heavily in the force at the sacrifice of his lightsaber skills, yes jedi do use lightsabers but they do use force too, so i think it makes sense to make a class that heavy uses force just like warriors heavy use lightsabers.

I havnt done much PVE in swtor yet, but im in mostly champ pvp gear as vig spec. Because i find it better that focus imo. Although im told people hate Guardian DPS in pve, why is that if anyone can assist me with this?

Well how you spec is up to you, a lot of people just hate Vig. U ask them why and have no solid reason.

So when i first hit 50, yea i was unimpressed thought focus was way better, but as i started to gear up and compare, its true focus has a higher nuke and more CC, but as another player told me. Its a one trick pony. I've only seen 2 other Guardians run vig and non of them complained, so things brings me to an assumption. Is it really that bad, or is it the fact that everyone hates it and QQ's about a tank class going DPS so everyone is lead to believe it is bad. As mostly champ geared i hit for about 2.5k mostly with a few 3's. I talked to a BM who said he hit for 5ks on every so often. We have more that 3 buttons and a variety of nukes that if done right can lead into a combo that will drop them in range of our Dispatch which is GG. If anyone who has played them both fairly a lot and has a good view point of them would like to add anything to this, agreeing or not, please do.

Level tank, thats all i have to say. Use kira till u get Doc. Once u have doc u can take 2-3 elites at the same time. I had no trouble at all lvling a tank guardian. IMO easiest out of all classes. I also have lvl 30 sage lvl 30 assassin 45 sniper 24 scoundrel 34 marader 25 commando out of all of them the JK tank was the easiest to lvl

There is a copy of that exact armor ingame... have u gotten past lvl 30 on a guardian? because there is tons of armored robes.

IMO its not too bad, i still feel like our dots dont do enough and our damage could go up a little. IFK we dont have a bulky Large single melee wepon user that hits like a truck really. I mean assassins and shadows hit ahrdest with spells and ops/scoundrels seem more like rogues. Id really just like this spec to be up to par. Im going to practice at it a little more, it may not be the best but its pretty damn fun.

Is it a week from the first reset or the last for the cost reset?

I really want to dps as a guardian, i feel like vig is similar to arms warriors in wow. Although all i've heard is negative things about it. Is it really as bad as everyone says, and if so has bioware said anything about a buff?

Does this achieve anything? I know you get quests as it gets higher but im already done with the story and married to her. Does anything else happen?

i ment they get guardian leap, which they can leap to a friendly, on top of their normal one. So two leaps, and a push. Troopers, a pull and a leap. Shadows a pull and a push I think we get the most here.

Guardians get a leap to another person though. Do vanguards or shadows get something similar?

i prefer focus to vig, because im burstier than vig + i have more slows and gap closers. Plus i feel vig is weak for a dps tree. Compared to the vanguards and shadows dps trees.

the ONLY problem with a guardian is their DPS tree, Their 1st(tanking) and 3rd(pvp force sweep spec) both are amazing.
