  1. Who were the producers before ben irving? Trying to figure out who was responsible for the fails for each major patch
  2. To be honest, it would probably be good for me if 5.0 turns out to be as bad as it sounds. I'm gonna need 4+ hours a day here soon to study. Sooo, no complaints if Bioware tanks the game further I'm just gonna play lolmerchealtofull, not gonna have time for anything else. The rest of my 30+ 65's will rot. And yea, if it's THAT bad I'm gonna quit for good.
  3. It is strange how they gradually made it easier and easier to gear for PVP, and now we go back to a huge grind. But hey, I can shrug that off... But what really doesn't make sense, is that they made the comms BOP. Very odd... All we're getting for comms is credits anyway. Why restrict us before 5.0? I don't think the devs think things through very well (duh!) unless there's something they aren't telling us yet.
  4. I can't wait until people start crying about me playing OPFOTM! Been rockin merc for the last year or so. I found it hilarious how people claimed I only played Sorc/Sin because it was OP, and yet they were my mains since the beginning (only toons that are 100 valor TBH).... RIP DPS Sorcs. RIP Sins especially!
  5. All this QQ about phasewalk... People seem to forget forcespeed cooldown was increased. Sure, they didn't "need" phasewalk, but.... Currently, you HAVE to use phasewalk, and use it properly, to survive. Before it was force speed and kite kite kite, force speed. Now it's force speed, kite, phasewalk, kite kite kite, drop phasewalk again (which needs to be planned on cooldown, also taking away time from healing or dpsing)... you get the picture? A sorc is just rather annoying with phasewalk, and in some ways it reduces their potential performance.... But they would still be kiting you at a similar rate of escapes. Anyway, I would have much prefered mobile Force Lightning over phasewalk. Now, that would have been fun!
  6. Well first off, unless you are FOTM and carrying teams, you'll get yelled at even more than in regs. Make sure youre full geared an augmened, as a starter. Familiarize yoursel with basic strats people run in solo ranked, like kill the jugg first (seriously, thats a thing now) and make sure you understan how every classes defenseive cooldowns work, sounds they make, what they look like etc. You'll also want to know what icons for skills like a maras obfuscate look like, and which skill of yours I effects. Etc. On my phone, excuse this **** post.
  7. The lowest I usually hit is 20 in 8v8, but mostly 60 to 100 FPS. Arenas I don't dip below 60. BTW I run at 1440p 2k, with Gsync. 144hz. Super buttery smooth ;D Skylake i5 over clocked at 4.6ghz, gtx 970, 16GB 2800mhz ddr4, samsung 950 pro 512GB (doesn't affect fps, just thought I'd brag about my new top of the line SSD, lol)

    Sage / Sorc

Good thing the devs read this forum actively, taking all tips and advice seriously. Very good post my friend, top notch.
  9. Why so serial? Roast topic #1, no sense of sarcasm or humor.
  10. DPS gear of course. DPS Tanks are pretty overturned right now, but they aren't killing healers, which is the main thing that everyone is crying about. Sure, they are good 1v1, and cool to take along with a good healer and two pro DPS... Heals heals heals. You need healer killers, and most people either suck, or playing specs that are fluff damage or hit like wet noodles (ex: deception).
  11. If they remove phasewalk, then force speed needs it's cooldown returned to what it was in 3.0. A sorc is forced to use phasewalk now, because they have nothing else. I think people are just mad that sorcs are usually LoS'd when they phase walk. To be honest, I miss the old force speed, and would have gladly kept that over phasewalk... although, phasewalk is pretty trollolol and I love how much people hate it.
  12. I guess the only useful dps is a PT?
  13. Veng stronger than Rage? Healers /lol @ veng.
  14. Yea, I think I get 15 to 16k's usually, without utility or relic procs. Thing is, all of your abilities hit pretty hard, and juggs have massive control over their opponent. You should almost always have a hard hitting skill on cooldown. It just flows really nice, and consistently hits hard, and you can burst when you want without much setup at all. It puts huge preasure on a single target, and you can bring someone down by 50% in a very short amount of time. The whole spec is very fluid, and to me VERY easy to play, even though it seems most people say it's difficult and take a higher skill cap to play. My jugg and guardian were both sitting at 55 unail about a week ago, and I've been smacking myself around wondering why I didn't level it sooner.
  15. I need to play my mara more tbh, but I've Def seen more juggs than maras. Same with pub.
